This type of scent strips is supposed to be used the other way around, you dip the thin part and write what it is on the larger. =) It is not super intuitive, you'd think you'd smell better on the larger part but you actually don't need that much paper dipped in oil (or fragrance, or perfume). Plus it's easier to hold that way. Hope it helps.

I've spent so much money from my own pocket, and it hurts to not purchase any fragrance oils, at least for now.😊 I have ordered sample sizes from Doop, because I would love to add an Asian inspired collection down the line, and I must say, all of them passed the HT test on the first try!!! I use Coconut 83, and I will be testing a full size candle. I always do the half jar method and so far wicking seems to be doing great.
Ooh nice!!! I’m excited to hear what you think of them. How are you liking coco 83? Do you blend it or just use it my itself? I’ve got some of this wax to test out as well.

It was on back order for a while, so I tried Coco 83, and depending on the fo that I was using, I would have a great HT. I wanted to give Soy Bliss a try, but I already have some candles that pass the HT and wicking test. I don't want to end up liking Soy Bliss (#7?) and having to retest everything.

The entire time I was hoping they sent you the Blackcurrant Tea and Fig (LeLabo Figue type) so sad they didn’t because I’ve been eyeing that one for months now. Just a very unfamiliar company imo! However, since a lot of them were a hit for you, I might go and buy it 😊 Thanks for sharing
I am now intrigued by this line - I have a candle using the CS Sriracha and mandarin orange that is wonderful. It is not for everyone but the sriracha is so strong you can almost taste it. I would love to try Doop’s sriracha to compare!
I think that you're using your blotter strips upside down. dip the smaller end and see if that works. Dip only the tip because the fragrance spreads on the strip. Thank you for sharing everything!! I missed you.
