People keep talking about his prime as if it’s past him. But he had the best season of his career, points wise, last season. At 31, he still has a couple seasons left where he can be a point per game guy, if healthy.
Well. Just 2 minutes into the Rags game and he taps one in from Panarin... And wasn't last year an 82 point season? "Isn't in his prime anymore." Whatever we gotta tell ourselves to get over the fact that he didn't wanna play on a team like ours anymore I guess. Isn't Tarasenko's fault Armstrong fucked us into a hole by bringing in two terrible bottom 6 plugs to put a bandaid on the fact that we lost Perron and Sunny in the last two years. Depth used to be deep but now it's more shallow than a kiddie pool. Just hope Neighbours comes into his own with Bolduc getting a crack at it next year. Hopefully that'll patch our bottom six up.
No matter how they play here, it always kills me to see any player go. Everyone who steps foot here will always be a Blue. I'll miss Vladi so much, but I wish him nothing but the best
Tarasenko is a great goal scorer. He's 31 and was playing for a team he wanted to be traded from while on an expiring contract. It's obvious he backed off to avoid injury and lose out on another 5 or 6 years of big bucks. If the Rangers want to extend, they will need to say goodbye to some really good young players. I doubt they do that, so expect Tarasenko to take few risks until he has a multi-year deal in place.
It's hard when players move on, especially guys that started here. However, he made it known over a year ago that he wanted to leave, so he got his wish.
Will miss Vladi. Compensation was a little light too. Gonna be a low first rounder. Not exactly a blue chipper but maybe they’ll find a guy. What an incredibly disappointing season. Armstrong better fix this thing. And it better not take years in the wilderness to do so. 😠
@Captain Chaos 91 well... Chicago has been taking, what, going on 5 years now? Give or take? But Armstrong is no Stanley "The Manly (Man)" Bowman. I mean yeah sure he's screwed the pooch the last few moves he's made, but this is still Big Dinger Doug we're talking about here. We still have Neighbours maturing and Bolduc debuting to look forward to in the very near future.
@@skye_danger The organization is headed in a different direction. They have to get younger. The window for another cup is closed now. If there was the slightest chance they could make a run next year or even in 2025 they might make him an offer. It's just not gonna happen. I love ROR but if he can get us a great prospect and a 1st rounder then I think it"s a no brainer for management. Barbashev is gone too.
Wow - what a shocker! Didn't see THAT coming! Okay, we love Vladiator but this was bound to happen. He will help Strangers. So, Blue Ballers kept ROR and we still got Barbie?! I'm okay with that. We'll squeak into p/o' s!
@@Capt_Chaos_91 Dude, I was being sarcastic. Hell, I thought both ROR and Tarasenko were toast! Hate to see Miko go but he can't score. Glad to see Blaiser back, he's a sneaky scorer. Love the two 1st rd. picks AND Skinner! Army does it again!
@@foolmenow00 ROR and Barby are next. Wouldn't be shocked to see Acari, Greiss, Bouch, Krug and Parayko gone. Parayko and Krug would both be gone if I had my choice. I'd keep Barby and Bouch because their value is higher than what they cost.
@@lancelowery4027 Hey, I'm just speaking as an, optimist, long lifetime hopeful Blue's fan. No way is Army blowing up this team. That's not his M.O. Some of those players have long contracts. My opinion is just as good to me as yours is to you. Peace
I remember when Tarasenko was a rookie, he has been the face of the franchise for the past decade. He will be missed 💔🎵
So many incredible memories! We will miss you Tarasenko.😢
i will miss you Tarasenko
I really think he's gonna get some of his juju back alongside Panarin
Yeah breadman will feed him with apples
Love to see it.
I loved him so much, but he isn’t in his prime anymore, but it still hard to let him go.😢
He had Binnington in net, it's not him the team overall wasn't prime

Asking a pro athlete for a meaningful answer is second only to the politician’s.
What should they say? For basic question u get basic answer.
I think they are told to hold back on what they really want to say
At least most of them have better answers than Binnington
and now O'Reilly is a leaf.
Thank you Blues. Let’s go Rangers.
No let’s go Blues
