We just purchased our new home so I am obsessed with watching renovation vids . My husband is in the carpentry busyness so we will be doing most of our renovations. I’m excited to nervous as well but we would love to document our process . Specially to show or friends family and our kids when they get older .
This is a true flipper, knowing all of this is what I wish I have now with a house I bought that I’m “flipping” although my wife and I aren’t selling it and it’ll be our main house. I’ve luckily done most things myself while learning along the way. But anyone can buy a house, hire a contractor to do what they’ve done for years, make everything aesthetically pleasing, and sell it. Doing it yourself is real work, and came out great!
I really enjoyed watching this flip & hats off to the kids and young lady working very hard too...looks like an awesome family doing things together...bless xxxx
This is neat. How did yall determine what walls could be taken down though? Is there a guide or did you have to ask a professional to make sure no supporting walls were destroyed?
Blahblah it’s not hard to figure out lol you can buy these little machines that can tell you if it’s load Baring too but I’m not sure what they’re called
If your joist that the wall is connected to ends on the top of the section of wall you would like to tear down, it is load bearing. If the joist above the wall you would like to tear down ends on a support post beyond your wall, it is not load bearing. If you aren't to positive, it is ALWAYS worth calling someone that can safely and easily determine which walls are load bearing, and which walls are not.
He took those walls down but at the 4 min - 5 min mark you can see him framing a beams in to compensate for the load. I wouldn't go knocking down walls unless you absolutely know what you're doing. You could really mess something up.
It looked like some of those walls were load bearing. That's why they put support beams. You can't tell if it's load bearing from a machine, lol. Those machines are called stud finders will tell you where the studs in the wall are.
Amazing job!!! I love it. Your kitchen and living room are so huge and cute. I wish you spend good days with your whole family. It is very good your kids are helping you. Thank you for this video

We just purchased our new home so I am obsessed with watching renovation vids . My husband is in the carpentry busyness so we will be doing most of our renovations. I’m excited to nervous as well but we would love to document our process . Specially to show or friends family and our kids when they get older .
That is awesome! good luck with the renovations!! take care! xx

Thank you!
Wow what an amazing transformation good teamwork🙀✨🌟😻
I really like how they have little man helping out the skills he learns now will make him so much wealth in the future
Amazing job!! Wish we could see the numbers too :) (how much you bought, invested and the profit)
THANKS SO MUCH! so kind! good luck on your future flipping endeavors!
What a hardworking team! 👍🏼👏🏼
You do good work, I love the new place! Thanks for sharing!
Get me a man like this ! Lord have mercy 😭😭😍
Beautiful transformation; from a shabby run down home to a lovely, clean, crisp one! Hope you were well rewarded for your efforts!

Beautiful job! What color grey paint did you use? And from where?
Before I read the description I watched the video and said look at that woman go!!!
You rocked it woman :))
In the description they said they hired a contractor.
I’m AMAZED by your family, and in awe of this beautiful flip!! 💕
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Damn, they practically rebuilt the house.
Amazing job!!! I love it. Your kitchen and living room are so huge and cute. I wish you spend good days with your whole family. It is very good your kids are helping you. Thank you for this video

Hats off to your whole family! You guys know how to do it all. Congrats and good luck to many more!
5:50 next time stagger the boards under the tiles so that they don't squeak in a couple of years. 4 corners should not meet at one place.
Concrete board should also be mortared down
@@richardwilken3977 All I saw was unskilled labors flipping this house. Bet 1 permit wasn't pulled when they tore the Drywall and walls down. I wouldn't buy that house for 5k.
Good job guys, love seeing families like mine working together!!!
Wonder what was the outcome on the profit?... good job!
Wow thats excelent and a plus when u know how to do everything. And you have your family helping too wow incredible.
She's unbelievable wow. Wish that I know alittle be of everything like they do. Great job

You guys put in a TON of work!!! We have a house from the 1930's so I know the joys of a beautiful update and the relief of it being done. It takes time and we are for sure no where near done but man is it worth it! Your home came out BEAUTIFUL!!! #Blessings love!! ❤️
Aproxamitly how much did you all spent on this project? I'd like to start saving for something like this.
Taylor I’m sure she was asking for the cost of materials but go off lol
You two are incredible! It looks like you have a couple of high quality helpers too! ❤️
I didn't think that DIY means "destroy it yourself"
Siberian Labrador DIY could also mean “Do it yourself”
Demo is the fun part 😂😉
hahahaha destroy it yourself😆😆
I was thinking the same thing...it's like double the cost
Siberian Labrador that’s the best part!
I really like how you tore out those walls and made the house so open and the final result was totally beautiful oh, I just subscribed to your Channel and we'll be enjoying your videos! Have a great day! You deserve it after showing us how hard you work to make magic!
