The damage mitigated has been pretty huge since switching to this method. I started doing DC for the first SBS though, and then summoning thrall as the boss spawns. Duration is only like 60s without master+ CA's, and it caps at 67s if you were to bring heart. White will spawn at ~10.4s, 32.4s, or 54s depending on rotation, so the only time DC can run out before whites is the rotation you blow up the egg anyway.
Great video! I've been doing a very similar method which is pretty cool to see Un-solicited minor tech: Since the Mirrorbacks damage you after they die, you can perform a tick perfect Veng. By waiting 1 tick and then venging, you reduce the likelihood of Araxxor breaking your Veng (Fast NPC death scuffs this sometimes so maybe a veng + bludgeon on the same tick is best). Also on Red start, if your DPS is low and you know you'll get a bad Mirror back on your 3rd egg, you could kill the egg and bring out a 2nd red for more dps. Similarly, and a lot less likely with Scythe, on Green start, you could bomb 4th egg & Araxxor with the 3rd Red egg
@@zerg113 Considering the content had only been out for a few hours when this released, this was the first time I'd seen anyone force the first spider to be stuck + use the exploding spider to kill the other eggs. I was saying it's 'insane' how he figures out metas quicker than others. First colosseum offticking and now this.
@@dumidumski yeah that's a good point, I don't have either unfortunately but that will slightly alter the timing of dodging specials and exploding the red araxyte
@@mayerdynn I'm afraid I don't have a mace, but yeah that's definitely better for popping the mirrorback. You can still do the sw method with scythe, you only lose 1 scythe tick for every 4 araxxor attacks due to the 4t cycle which ends up being more dps than using the mace
@@pecanbread11 Reckon dragon claws over DWH with mace? I have both inq body and skirt. I think the DWH reduction is not worth it, unless you have scythe and that claws are more value. Maybe maul would be but still think I prefer dragon claws.

Shouldn’t you be popping mirror back with mace/bludgeon? Which will impact the timing here slightly.

Mace 5t > Maul 6t + you can do SW method too for faster kills. Otherwise - nice

@@pzodeosrs maul saves about 10s over the kill, dwh saves about 8/9s, which is more than claws save
