For are cars we need lot more blue tooth radio wireless microphone
Yes... there are several 3rd party solutions for this.
Enjoyed the Alert for the ID-50 included into the video. KI6KQO
Hahaha! Thank you! I'd just "finished" editing the video when I got the call... so added that in!
Would you recommend an upgraded antenna for the v86? If so, what would you recommend?
All HT radios can benefit from a better antenna! Take a look at the Diamond BNC-24 (www.hamradio.com/detail.cfm?pid=H0-001419), which we sell, or an equivalent Signal Stick, which we don't. Alternatively, you can get an antenna with an SMA connector and add an BNC-SMA adapter.
I have the V86 and the only thing I don't care for is the Alpha Numeric lettering small and capital letters that are mixed together which is hard to read when a frequency is labeled.
How do u like as far as receive and transmit? I’ve found that the 5 watt plus radios seem to be better especially as far as simplex while out in the field. I see it has a aa battery case that u can get as well?
@@johnmossy3757 Works great! especially indoors when I'm talking to others off the local repeater. When indoors I may get all sorts of RFI. Tested the various output and I'm getting 3 watts on low, about 5.6 on high and 6.7 on the extra high feature in the mid 2m range. Haven't tried simplex yet.
Great video guys ! Thank for sharing !
Thank you for watching! Share and enjoy! 🤣
Are they going to Replace the IC-R30 WITH NEW RADIO?
The price point of the 50 is lower than I anticipated. $200 lower than the 52 👍🏻 What info, if any, are you hearing on the R-15 RX?
Gooday Sir much
1:37 😊
Do a video with alinco radio and show the 220 Radio maybe add another brand that has 220 we don't hearuch about 220 these days
Nope. I refuse! 😂
I can’t stand the ID52. Worst radio I have used since I started my journey.
