In my experience, the best option is to go to your local credit union and get pre-approved for an express draft check that you can take with you to the dealership and if you use this, you'll save more time and money.
Why ?
@@NaNa-vp8vb Because credit unions usually offer better interest rates than those offered by a dealership and having that express draft ready cuts out the you having to spend time in the finance office.
This! And a down payment doesn’t bring your payment down that much.
You need to find a family member who has good credit & has had their CC for a long period of time. Ask them to add you as an authorized user to build your credit history. I have had a CC for 10 years. I added my brother as an AU & it shows up on his credit profile as if he has also had the card for 10 years. It increased his score alot! Just make sure the person is on point & responsible.
