It is so true I work with all my horses everyday for fun not to show off and it is not easy in the beginning but after a year or 2 it gets easier.

This is awesome! I actually love these videos... kind of a "behind the scenes" of all the work that does go into a wonderful partnership and the skills that you both have. And I must say Estella looks absolutely fabulous! :) She's using herself so well now! Even in a rope halter with light reins ahhh. It looks so good!

Do you do everything with the dressage whip? Did you ever have to really desensitize your horses to it? I've got a 5yo thats terrified of the whip, I try riding with it and desensitizing him to it and he's fine, I hold it when I ride he's fine, but the second it even brushes his side (especially the left) he skitters around, gets really strong and tense and sometimes mini rears. One of my friends said I should do the stock horse challenge at an event next year too, but there's no way I can crack a whip near him! I just want to get him comfortable with it and learn that he won't be hurt with it anymore. I can normally use a plain crop/whip but he gets stressed if I have to tap him with it. :(

So if you don't mind me asking do you have any tips on how to make my bond with him stronger I mean he's gotten to the point where I fall off and he comes back to me and that stuff and comes to me when I call, But he's really afraid of the whip he like darts when it comes to close he won't even come near me if I have it,If you have any tips on training please don't hesitate to tell me!LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!😍🐴
WolvesFrostSlayer It depends if you had the horse since it was born because if you haven't then maybe the previous owners were brutal
I'm not a specialist but I did ride a horse who was badly treated by his previous owners and now he is very scared of whips but if that's not the case then I don't know why your horse doesn't like it
Zuzzu_ xoxo No I got him a couple months ago but he gives a lot of love and affection he nibbles on my hair and licks my face and he rubs on me, and He's always following me he's like a giant puppy, I have never used the whip ever, But to do the Liberty training I want to touch him with it so he wouldn't be afraid but he just jumped back scared and would stand a certain distance from me so I just throw it away from us and he comes to me again and rubs on me like a giant

+RememberTomorrow. Darauf baut ja alles andere auf und eig zeigen wir das noch viel zu selten.. Es gibt halt immer mehr die sich am Freireiten/Freiarbeit versuchen und das finde ich echt super :D Aber ohne die richtige Vorbereitung kann es (vorallem im Gelände) wirklich gefährlich werden. Danke!:)
