From here, I checked out Fugiya And Miyagi's cover of "Your Silent Face". It's quite decent, but I gotta say, Destroyer NAILED "Leave Me Alone", big time.
Thanks for this. The music part is pretty awesome, but there's something missing. The wistful longing in the vocals just isn't here. New Order was still feeling Ian's death. There is space in the original that this version doesn't allow. Everything is filled in. Barney doesn't sing as well, but the melancholia comes through so much stronger in the original.
This song is great i'm not sure i can say better than the original because i fucking love New Order but this is absolutely the best New Order cover i've ever heard! great job I am now a Destroyer fan.
You shouldn't judge a situation based on a youtube comment. I meant "Fuck him" as in "I don't care because he's not worth my time anymore". Try not to be so condescending next time and enjoy the music.

Leave Me Alone is one not just my favorite New Order songs and one that has always got me emotionally. I just stumbled upon this cover and I'm way impressed. Musically it's great, vocals are ok. Nothing beats Sumner's fragile vocals in the original
