- SMC plays an important role in accomplishing the goals of RTE Act. It helps in mobilising public awareness as well as building a strong sense of ownership of government policies and programmes. The basic idea behind the SMC is to increase the say of community stakeholders in the functioning of the school.

Do you think our Govt. Schools will perform better than now if the School Management Committee applies and implements all these powers?
If smc will do there responsibility sincerely, definitely Govt. School will perform I think so. 🙏

Definitely yes... Some pointer..
1. Teachers are selected from thousands if not lacs...
2. Most teacher are b.ed pass
3. Govt give relaxation if a teacher wanted to study b. Ed
4. Far more better salary than private institutions.
5. Govt teachers get hardly 4-5 periods in a day. They get more rest in a day.
A suggestion to improve the govt school.
1. All the govt employee's children should study in govt school... By law.
2. Fire the non performing teachers, no mercy.
3. Scholarship should be given to deserving students, even some bureaucrat children apply for it...
4. Non performing govt school should be shut down for good..
5. 2-3 govt school are there in a village... It should be not more than 2...

Thank you dream unlimited it's truth specially in Mon district teachers are very bad they cannot came to school 3/4 months..
I am not a government teacher but I know many govt.school teachers who works hard and gives their best but yet no salary,no recognition and so on...just plain criticism.Why don't u guys make a video of such ,highlighting the plight of those teachers@Dreamz unlimited and a video encouraging parents and guardians of govt. School students to help out their own child as well..teaching and learning is incomplete without support from parents and not forgetting efforts of a student as well

Very true... But the ground reality is that.... Government is on paper.... Many teachers are giving their best but sadly receives no salary.... Like the recent case of RMSA... Producing good result but no salary for 8months....

I learnt a lot from this short video. My village too has a school . It was constructed last year but it's still left half completed. No teachers ,no class,no meals no nothing.i have not even heard of SMC before until just before.. Much respect from Manipur

This is it, show this video to all the villagers. Let them know their responsibility. Those SMC dont know their responsibility in almost all the villages within the state. And some are misusing the powers n functions. Share this video as much as possible, not only in social medias but also to the ones who doesn't use phones.

I think the SMB Should also impart not only for school but also for aiding accommodation for the teacher's .. we always discuss about proxy teachers, but what about if there is no place to live-in, at the village where he or she is appointed.. as far as the proper living space is concern for the teachers for the smooth functioning of the school.. so according to my point of view the SMB Should also take initiative in aiding a proper living space for the teachers...

Please do a video on the struggle teachers go through with pending salary under the same mission. Moreover, SMCs in many villages have failed to take up the responsibility of arranging accomodations to teachers who are coming to teach from far off districts.

In our village there is still VEC not SMC.
Mid day meal and other funds are misused and misguided regularly by them. This Ad is of great guidance to all of us especially to me.
