Congratulations on some beautiful work guys! I adore the FX6 footage, even more so than the Komodo footage.. and paired with this lens it looks delicious
Wonderful video~! Do you have a favorite lens between the 35, 50 and 75?

Great video! By any chance do you know if the protrusion of the rear element would affect the Komodo RF/PL Revolva ND mount? Update: following back up for anyone. Confirmed that this would NOT work with the Kippertie Revolva. The Flange of the lenses are exactly 52mm and this would touch the rear element/filtration/ND in the Kippertie Revolva.
Nice review , only complaint is would have been more helpful if you would have listed the focal length you were using for each shot along with other info. Thanks
Hi, thanks for this video. The look is indeed quite clinical but, should you choose to shoot with a C70, it would be different, ( the images from that sensor slightly remind me of film ;-) Why did you push in and crop the face of the young lady so much in the commercial (1:56 )?? 😱 Not very pleasing, is it? About the lenses: is it me or is the fall off quite abrupt when opened wide? ( The transition between sharp & blurred could be a bit smoother, couldn’t it?
hi thank you! Yeah I'd much prefer to shoot this project on C70 or Komodo, but the FX6 was the chosen camera by the production company. We chose to push in so closely because the client wanted to showcase their product, which is the nails. About the fall off, I do think the lenses can have a smoother fall off, but I think it also makes the image appear more interesting and stylized.
Impressive lenses on the Komodo especially

Amazing look of those lenses!!!
The flares look really nice in this video. Not crazy blue at all.
Intro is just magical! Love the shots and the music choice!
Crazy how better and more thick the image on the komodo is compared to the very digital fx6
Lovely shots! Well done! 👏🏼
Thank you!

Thank you! Sorry I didn't test that on the Revolva ND mount, viltrox website should have more information.
what speed booster would i use for the komodo and 35 mm viltrox?
Love it! What the brand of slider you used 0:33 ?!
Ok, this is killing me. Footage looks amazing! How did you get the amber flares instead of the blue ones?
Thanks man! The flares color kinda changed when I pointed the lens at the golden hour sunset.
@@ARRI thank you sir!

Thank you for the suggestion!
Hello.. which focal length you used for flare test on the Komodo at 8:47? and 0:02 Thank and great work
Hi thank you! I believe 8:47 was shot on the 35mm, and 0:02 was shot on the 50mm.
@@ARRI ordered the 50mm and I love it
@@ironsun27 awesome!
Hi, love your work did you use speed booster on red Komodo since its a full frame lens and Komodo is super 35?
Hi thanks! I didn't use the speed booster on red komodo.

do you prefer the 50 or the 75 more?
75’s bokeh is really nice but the 50 is definitely more versatile
What adaptor did you use on the FX6?
its from dzofilm
太棒了!
