For those complaining about the "16K click bait": 1. RUclips limits the maximum quality you can watch a video based on your device specs. There's phones that max out at 720p, 1080p or even 4K because that's the maximum resolution your phone's processor can handle rendering a video. So if yours maxes out at 4K either deal with it, get a phone with a much more powerful processor or watch it on your laptop (if it supports quality higher than 4K) 2. RUclips supports a maximum of 8K quality. If your video is higher than 8K it will be scaled down. Filming in 16K has an advantage in that it gives you more detail than you would get when you film in 8K, 4K or 2K. So a 16K video down scaled to 4K is of higher quality than a 4K footage that was originally recorded in 4K. I hope that makes sense
My phone only supports 720p but I am able to watch 1080p content on RUclips. I have a moto g pure. The phone is less than decent. A Samsung Galaxy is way better.
@mohammedamine1108 Weird, so your tv doesn't lag when watching 1440p content but 1440p 60fps it lags. Maybe your tv doesn't support 60fps. I have a 7-8 year old HDTV which only goes up to 1080p but I am able to watch content at 1440p 60fps with no lag on RUclips on my xbox. I can't play video games at 1440p or higher since my TV doesn't support it but on RUclips it can.

Videos are scaled down. Filming in 16k gives you more detail than filming in 4k. So a 16k video down scaled to 4k is of higher quality than a an original 4k video.
