last year i finally snapped out of it, i was consuming way too much in terms of products (skincare, makeup). So i started cutting down. But it was tough, seeing ultas sales being advertised everywhere, feeling like i needed to use my sephora points. It sounds silly but it is an addiction, and the only way to rehab from it is to just stop. Remind yourself you still have 5 bottles of skincare that are half full, that you don't need that bottle of nail polish that you will use once, and that sometimes one bottle of shampoo is enough to do the job. Then i had a baby this year and realized i REALLY needed to stop. I no longer purchase ANY new makeup, and i buy maybe one skincare product if I'm almost or already done with the same product type. I can't say I'm fully cured, but I've started focusing more on finishing what i have and only opening something new when one thing is finished. My splurges are on my baby now 😊
I've been on the makeup rehab trail for a few years. The pandemic didn't help because it gave me a reason to replace makeup that I hadn't worn in "years".

My makeup/skincare addiction was in full swing during my early 20’s, and I stopped because my health took a turn for the worse. It really put things into perspective about what’s more important and what needs attention. You tend to stop wanting to buy anything when you just want to be your old self again. I’m 30 now and I’m finally getting back to my old self again, but better than ever. A new environment, good relationships, self love, and good food does more for my face than makeup and skincare.
I did a 5 year no buy. Literally bought the very bare basics. Recently I decided I'd had enough and I've treated myself to some new products. It's been lovely and feels very indulgent. I think the key in life is balance. ❤❤❤❤
I constantly remind myself that this kind of stuff is not real life. There's so much more to life than shopping, makeup hauls, or being the next big thing. I roll my eyes, shut my computer and go live in the real world.
I used to go to influencers for skincare advice. Never again. I spent so much money and it wasn’t worth it. Keep it simple and use what your skin likes. It doesn’t have to cost a fortune.
Imagine being the recycling worker who comes to Mikayla's house every week to empty the recycling bin- and having to discard all those boxes, packages, etc. 😳
I’m baffled by Mikayla’s fans. She has been exposed so many times yet people still trust her. There are 2 beauty influencers, Emily Noel and Jen Phelps, I definitely trust and that is partly because they do not accept any sponsorships. They do get PR but are very upfront about whether they bought it themselves or a brand sent it to them. I would think that the bigger you are the easier it should be to be honest. I guess money will always be a big motivator. People never have enough.
Im guilty of falling down this rabbit hole but I caught myself about 2 years ago. I went through all my excess products, donated all sealed/new products I never touched and purged anything expired. I know what products my skin likes and I rebuy my items. Every now and then there is a new product I want to try, but it will be a replacement for a current product I use and I wait till I finish the product Im replacing. Right now I'm going through my closet and taking items I never wore (I lost 100 lbs) and I found a womens shelter I can take them to. I can live a full and happy life without over consuming. And I certainly listen to smaller "influencers" for recommendations. My favorites will always be the Welsh twins. Theyre honest and trustworthy
a few years ago, I finally got the courage to throw away the make up that expired and I got real with myself with what I wasn't going to use again. So now, I have one cleanser, an AM moisturizer, PM moisturizer, 1 eye shadow pallet, 2 thrive causemetics mascaras... I don't like make up so I just look like a very average lady out here 😂 but my bathroom is not cluttered and no products go to waste!
same!! i decluttered and threw out make-up that was years old and i noticed that i only need like 10 products in total. i feel lighter living like this! and the simple routine helps my anxiety on top of it haha.
I counted 41 lip products in my drawer then stopped because I don’t want to know the rest (29/41 were gifts from friends/family, in my defense) 😅 needless to say I’m on an unofficial project pan journey
Lip products and blush are my biggest weaknesses. I have never used up an entire lip product before it expired or I lost it. I’m trying to be more conscious of what I buy but it can be difficult.
@@angelwings1979 probably most of these products of mine are expired, but they smell fine and nothing bad has happened to me yet so I can’t personally justify throwing them out even though I know I should 😭 at least I won’t be buying any anytime soon now that I’m more conscious of what I actually do have
They’re hauling things they will never use but use it as a flex that they can afford it. From the hauls of Sephora, Wish, Temu, Amazon now it’s the groceries, hello kitty, Stanley cups, other cups and whatever trends coming in… it’ll be an endless cycle of overconsumption
@@caseyhill636 I love it especially bc I have autism & adhd so it’s good to stick to a simple routine for my skin & my makeup and I can easily tell what product is for what 😂
I’m in the midst of writing a research paper on influencer advertising and this is also one of the parts covered. Really appreciate your hard work and thorough ‘homework’ in making this video! 😍💪 I can’t imagine the long hours of binging on all their videos to count the frequency of product use, and I for one will not be able to stand watching that much of Mikayla videos 😂
I am also a shopaholic on my way to recovery. And I think that for people like me with anxiety issues, sales are the worst nightmare. I made a promise to myself that I will never buy anything because there is a sale. I unsubscribed from all the notifications from stores and literally try to ignore them. Because when you see a sale, you have a feeling that you need to buy something, that you will miss this great opportunity to save money, but in reality you can save more, if you go to the shop only when you need something, and buy this particular thing, even at full-price. I would even assume, that sometimes it will make you think twice before buying something expensive, while during sales your mind is blurred with the ecstasy of the feeling that you are saving money. This is a tricky thing.
So glad someone said it. All I see and think when I look at her is her lip filler which I doubt is the look she's going for. The overly plump lip look is so over done that I really appreciate a natural lip look. It's now way more interesting to look at than the obviously filled lips. It's like the "blush blindness". I'm pretty sure a lot of these women have "lip filler blindness" and don't realize how unusual it looks to everyone else. Your natural lips are beautiful! Leave them alone!
I have 6 products. Wash, toner, serum, eye cream, moisturizer, spf ...also I do have psoriasis so I don't wear make up lol. I feel like a super minimalist. 😅
I do have an issue with ALL the FAKE faces and augmented unreal people! The amount of stuff they show and have just melts into looking like a store front and most of the people watching can't afford ANY of the products much less the over the top homes they seemed to somehow obtain! I can afford and will not buy MOST of the over priced underwhelming and performing products!! I used to buy stuff based on recommendations and after being very disappointed in product performance for OVER PRICED "luxury" I am very picky and read EVERY ingredient list!
I had a purge this year. Like so many I got sucked into the next big thing. I’ve always loved makeup and trying new stuff. And have definitely been a shopperholic! I’ve just started a 30 day no buy challenge for myself to wean myself off!! Scary to think how much we just spend without even thinking. So glad I stumbled across your channel. A ray of sunshine for us in the UK x
Most of the bigger influencers on tiktok are advertisers and not reviewers. While some of them can be fun to watch, we need to remember that they are trying to sell us something. They remind me of infomercials from my childhood and the “as seen on tv” products.
My close friends and I always share our makeup recommendations in our group chats. When we find a new product we really love, or are looking for something specific we’ll drop it there. We all have access to similar products and have similar budgets, and I find their advice way more helpful than any “professional” influencer!!
I use 5 products. And they usually last 2 months. 😅 Edit: I do, though, drink a lot of water, eat right 6 days a week and exercise everyday (for real, I can’t go anywhere except the shower after a workout). But what makes my skin good or bad, is most often my mental health state. I love products, don’t get me wrong here, but I also enjoy having money to try new things and to travel. Point being: do what makes you happy.
Same here. Cleanser, vitamin c, aloe vera, vitamin a and sunscreen. That's it since I was 20. I am 50 now. Fluids girls, don't worry about things that are most likely to never occur, surround yourselves with people whom you love and they love you too and this is pretty much it.
Yeah, me too. 6 Products. Soap, Shampoo, Conditioner, Deodorant, Vitamin E Moisturiser and Perfume. This is the only way I can keep my skin clear, but everyone has their own methods.
I had a problem with this even before 'influencers' where I tossed out boxes and boxes after I came to my senses. I cannot imagine if this was on my pages back then. I also found I had an undiagnosed ADHD issue, so it'd have been that much worse. Unreal. Be strong. This is so unnecessary, wasteful and killing our environment. And expensive!
It’s so different when you have a certain amount of $$ per week && are trying to find a good mascara && can only afford one if you watch people like Mikayla who says nearly everything is the most incredible thing ever && typically have motives that trump what’s in the best interest of her subscribers. I have a select few beauty creators I’d actually take a recommendation from && typically I feel more convinced when I see more than one of those ppl enjoying the same product. I also think it says a LOT when you see a ton of creators using a few things repeatedly, like BK beauty & sigma brushes, when they’re not mentioning them in the video those are just the brushes they always reach for out of their whole collection. I also don’t have nor watch TikTok.
Precisely! If everything is of equal quality, what's even the point of reviews? This reminds me of the California law about cancer risk disclosure on products - even if the risk is miniscule, a special case of a special case, they need to put "may cause cancer" on the product, lest one person in 100 mil gets cancer from it and sues the company, and the company has nothing to cover itself up with. So everything, from Chinese toys to organic soap, "may cause cancer" these days, with no qualifier of an actual risk - so how are you supposed to make preference for one product over the other lol.
The trust between influencer and consumer has been broken, there will be a point were they will be begging us to buy products and we will be like "we have better things to waste our time on".
Since I deleted all my social media and using RUclips without watching beauty videos it made me realise amount of fomo I was having when watching all of that!so so unhealthy when on one hand you know you don't need it on the other you going to buy it because it's so amazing, necessary, life changing! I said to myself - never again! Buying what I actually need and want, on what I did my own research taking into consideration my skin type and needs.
The timing of this video is just crazy. Yesterday, I was in Sephora. By the way, I’m a male, I usually go to Sephora, maybe every six months to refill some of the products I use or just for men’s cologne. Anyway, I was overwhelmed and surprised by how much products are out there for women! It makes me think that these companies are really cashing on vanity more than anything.
Never heard of them. At one point last year, my feed was full of videos about decluttering hoards of makeup. That's how I learnt about beauty influencers.
These influencers are absolutely ridiculous and all that junk!! How do they afford it? I have to admit I went a little crazy with my skin care instead of sticking with what works for me I ended up getting rid of all that stuff and went back to the 3 or 4 products That work... Its so easy to get carried away!!!
I can understand wanting reviews from someone who has tried everything. If most products are great, then you can find something that works for you in your budget. On the other hand, there aren't any comparison videos for those who are looking for the "best" product, which would've been too subjective anyway
The only person I trust with skincare advice is a dermatologist influencer, who provides information on skincare without promoting products. When I had a severe outbreak of rosacea during the pandemic, I bought her guide, which taught how to treat the problem, what ingredients to look for in products, and that advice really helped. This was the best investment of my money and it cost less than an average cream at Sephora.
Thank you for your video 🙏 no one can influence me and I have so little cosmetic that it fits in one small pouch bag and little shelf in bathroom! But other young people’s without fully developed brains and values, these videos will influence them very deeply! I think in education system we need new topics about commercial, influencer culture, e-marketing etc.
50 and l know l have too much already for myself because stuff doesn’t get used or l have tester products l am just trying to use up. I can’t imagine more than what l, personally, have because l would be so stressed trying to use it all up before it expires 😵💫😱
I love your channel I came across it about a week ago and have been binge watching. I do like Allison. I have tried her tips and tricks and I gotta say it gave me a glow up. I for once in my life actually feel beautiful without makeup.
SO interesting! I’m so glad I randomly came across your channel a few months ago cuz I love the topic ideas you come up with && your perspective on things.💜
Very few people give helpful recommendations. In skincare the more you learn about ingredients and formulas the less easily you are impressed. The same goes for learning ingredients, formulas and color theory for makeup. Very little is actually unique or high quality.
Whew I counted 34 products I use in a month. It’s a lot more than I realised! I’ve always had quite bad acne-prone skin (mainly genetic) and spent so much money trying new products for years throughout my teens. I’m now using accutane and stripped it back to a basic routine with drug-store brands. The money I spend on my dermatology appointments is about the same I wasted trying expensive brands that did nothing for me! Except now my skin is healthier than ever and I’m listening to quality advise
I think people should look at jewelry too. Like the Alhambra bracelet you are wearing is $5k+. We see influencers, such as yourself, wearing multiples of these and then opening drawers upon drawers of these products. 3 and more bracelets of the same price point on coating arms. I think that is also over the top consumption and the development of fine jewelry is often at the expense of child labor. There are categories that get over consumed. Perfume is a hot category for this right now too. I suspect jewelry will be the next one.
So many people take Spironolactone in the US to control hormonal/cystic acne. It works really well, I use it and haven’t had issues. The times I have had the most issues even on the meds was when I used too much product, and wore too much makeup. Choose one or two actives to rotate through in the week, vitamin C if your skin agrees with it, a really good sunscreen and a really good moisturizer and you’re good to go. Your skin doesn’t need all of this. Additionally, if you are really concerned about acne and the ingredients in your food, you should also take a look at what you eat-ultra processed foods, foods high in sugar and saturated fat contribute to more harm to our bodies than anything.
I still have 3 makeup items of each category or more, so 3 foundations, 3 blushes, 2 concealers, 7 lipsticks etc. I even get anxious about handling and organizing them, so I no longer buy any new items unless one is finished. Especially lip products when i mostly use lip balm daily. Makeup items have an expiration date so it's no use- hoarding them.
Hehe, I just thought of my husband. He really uses two products: a baby cream for some issues like dryness, eczema, etc. and a shampoo for everything else. And I can’t say he looks even the slightest worse than me 😳
The 1st person screams FAKE The 2nd person the IRS (🇺🇸 tax agency) could access huge tax fines on all unreported income and failing to disclose paid sponsored contributions
I once subscribed to Ipsy basic monthly basic bag (4-5 products I think) and at some point I got overwhelmed with the amount of makeup I had and didn’t even love or used. Can’t even image to receive makeup at this level 😬. And I wasn’t even subscribed for a year 🥹
It’s so good that someone is talking about it loud instead following that trend. Sometimes I feel I need to have all of those cosmetics or perfumes because otherwise im missing out on something. But then im thinking what a waste of money. I have foundation and I already know one will go to the bin because I won’t use both of them before end date which will become waste of money, money I could use on something else. Most of influencers get them send for free so they don’t have the same feeling of wasted money but they pressuring young girls to have it all
Sephora has a very good return policy so those Sephora products from hauls by smaller beauty influencers could be returned back to Sephora to get the money back.
I think Mikayla did a makeup room tour ages ago and mentioned that because she has so many sponges and brushes she can use them once and then wash them at the end of the week
I only use 11 and I’m middle aged. I would wager that if I had done this in my 30s it would be much more. My 11 are: tinted moisturizer with sunscreen (Mercier), Bemetint, Haus cheek in watermelon, several tinted lip gloss, plumping moisturizing lip tint, Anastasia brow powder duo, Hourglass bronzer, nudes eye color and one lipstick. I also use a lemon exfoliating sheet (Korea). I plan to visit the dermatologist soon to inquire about some anti aging or sun damage producers, which I’ve used in the past. What made a huge change for me in my 40s is to stop using eyeliner and mascara, this took care of any bags under my eye. Some of our “needs” are actually created by reactions to ingredients in cosmetics. Eye makeup was causing or emphasizing bags and dark circles, fullstop. I also stopped with any hair products except shampoo conditioner. I also don’t buy OTC skin care unless discussed with dermatologist. I should mention that I don’t do my own nails, I get a gel mani every three weeks but I do have a few light tinted nail care products for my toes.
As someone who is transgender..i feel as if this is the expectation of me.. vs doing toy customs, listening to black sabbath and watching silent films.. But we dont honor imagination.. we honor consumerism.
people with interests are interesting. I love finding people who have knowledge bases and learning anything from someone who loves it is the best in my opinion. This is a silly comment but rock on my friend.
Never will I ever trust beauty influencers on skin care advice. First of all, we all have different skin types and live in different climates. Secondly, they are very often not genuine. Like, cmon, having a video every month showing a bunch of products that helped them “save their skin”, which was ruined. And what happened to the pile from the previous month? My critical thinking was screaming. Never do I trust any reviews for products in online shops for the very same reasons. I usually just scroll through them to check how many people got allergic reactions. I am not subscribed to any beauty channels, as my anxiety used to destroy me after watching all those videos with new products, that I wanted so badly, but could not afford 300 $ hauls at Sephora on weekly basis.
I use a max of 7 facial skincare products in my rotation. Regular face wash, acne targeting face wash, vit c serum, caffeine serum, sunscreen, regular moisturizer, and retinol cream. Feel if I use more product my skin would be overloaded.
I had to stop the video and count all my skincare, haircare, bodycare and makeup products. I use all of them monthly, most of them daily or weekly and I got 100 products total.
Thanks for sharing and trying this too ☺️ I hope you don’t feel the pressure to half or half again the amount of products you use. That wasn’t the point of the video necessarily As long as you use and enjoy all the items and feel ok about using them then that’s okay Of course if you feel like you can or want to cut back by all means go for it but I think being aware of what we are using and deciding whether or not we are okay with it is good to know xx
I use Biore charcoal face scrub, NYX or ELF face primer on my skin during the day, and Vaseline Intensive Care lotion under my eyes and on my body. Easy and inexpensive. Oh, and I'm 70.
i cannot believe how much mikayla gets sent, it's so excessive 😳seriously, what does she do with it all, how can everything she gets be tested/used? it's mind boggling to me!
Between makeup and skincare I have 12 products and that is because of my new job. I started wearing makeup again after an 8 year hiatus. I have 2 face washes, 2 makeup remover wipes, 2 skin creams (AM / PM), 1 toner, 1 foundation, 1 blush, 1 mascara, 1 lip gloss, & 1 eyebrow filler thingy. Prior to that, I had 2 products: both were face washes lol
My numbers are in the hundreds honestly. Im not an influencer however my collection rivals them haha Not something all people appreciate but its my hobby and my passion. And im high maintenance. Youll never ever catch me without makeup (most times full beat), hair nice, smelling nice, lots of jewelry, nails done, toes done, fancy undies and lovely clothes and boots. Yeah....thats just me. I always hear my husband saying "i really love how well you take care of yourself" hahahahaha
I only have 11 products in my skincare routine: a pre-cleanser to remove sunscreen and dirt, a low-ph cleanser, a toner, a peptide serum, a vitamin c serum, a more expensive sunscreen to go out for the whole day, a cheaper sunscreen to walk the dog in the morning, an enzyme peeling(I just love enzyme peelings) and an acid peeling to use once a week, an eye cream and a moisturizer. I have a feeling this is more than enough. I do not use makeup on daily basis and feel like the happiest person alive. I remember one person said: “Why do you need a BB cream? Wouldn’t it be better to invest in your skin and fix it first, so that you will have nothing to cover?” It has been my motto for the last several years.
I wouldn't trust any online influencer's recommendations for products. I think it's outrageous that so many of them don't disclose paid content - so why should I trust them. I do trust advice from a Facebook beauty group I'm on, as it's the opinions of other women like me. Also I trust Sali Hughes who is beauty editor of the Guardian newspaper. She won't recommend anything she hasn't fully tested herself, and by fully testing I mean using the product for a few months. She's also an all round wonderful person who runs a charity helping people in hygiene poverty by providing basic products (including tampons and pads!).
On a weekly basis I use about 15 products, going up to 25 if I'm going out twice a month. I can manage daily with SPF moisturizer + CC cream + LH Infinity palette + brow gel + lip balm. In total I have about 50 products, some of which I use once or twice a month, sometimes not at all for a few months (like sunscreen during the winter in Scandinavia, what daylight -.-). I don't watch any haul videos, if I need something new, or a replacement, I just go to the local store and get it, or order online, or exchange within friends, if something doesn't work for someone.
1. Go2 hair gel (for hair and eyebrows) 2. Mascara ( i have blue and black, mainly use black one) 3. Highlighter ( i have 5 colors green, blue, purple, yellow , mainly use white) 4. Lip liner ( i have 4 , 3 pinkish (duplicates) ,one red ) 5. Lipstick ( beige and pink) 6. Eyeliner ( green, blue, brown and white) 7. Lip gloss ( pink and clear) 8. Eyeshadow ( beige and white ) So basically I have 22 makeup item but usually don't use it ,or use 7 product out of 22. ( I use same makeup for different part of face) I use soap and micellar water hahahahha ( i tried face wash but idk , i feel like the soap does better ) And I think I have to much 😅
If I count all of my nail products, I use about 30 “beauty” products monthly (excluding tools but including my regular toiletries like deodorant, whitening mouthwash, etc). 😮
It's funny, because I bought two tiny eye palettes like 3 years ago and STILL haven't managed to use them all. I also have maybe 6 lipsticks and they last forever! Foundation can last me from 6 months up to a year! One foundation, if it has nice coverage and decent quality. I have one blush and one highlighter and they are likely to spoil like my lipsticks and palettes before I manage to use them up. What lasts the shortest are eyeliners and lip shine, that's only makeup I can use to the end in several months. Perfumes can also last up to a year, especially if you have like 2-3 favorites, then maybe even 2 years! Why would anyone need all those palettes, tons of lipsticks and loads of blushes and highlighters is beyond me! They will never use the 1% of it and likely create dumps of plastics and chemicals like we don't already have too much of it. Make up can last, you don't need that much.
10:33 - girl, I counted 12 to shower ALONE…. I stopped there. I was too depressed to even make an attempt at my skincare, then hair, then makeup which I probably can’t even count TBH - for shame!! So I’m definitely guilty of being a product hoarder/addict.

Same here, it's easy for me to get overwhelmed with more stuff. So i keep it small and simple. I love it
I’m in the midst of writing a research paper on influencer advertising and this is also one of the parts covered.
The lips on the first girl, my god how do they not see how bad it looks!! The fillers have to stop
LOL I am at 4 I have a moisturizer/Sunscreen and 3 things to tame my curls LOL I mean like twice a month I use chapstick
PREACH 🙌🏻
Edit: I do, though, drink a lot of water, eat right 6 days a week and exercise everyday (for real, I can’t go anywhere except the shower after a workout). But what makes my skin good or bad, is most often my mental health state. I love products, don’t get me wrong here, but I also enjoy having money to try new things and to travel. Point being: do what makes you happy.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
She's an addict. You can tell the rush. She just has supporters in her addiction.
It's a vanity project over "how great of a shopper I am!" (But, they were actually given everything..... Not bought it. )
You're killing me with this girls voice.. I don't have to mention which one do I? My ears are bleeding 😂
Vanity & insecurity.
Im not on tik tok. Watching those clips is giving me anxiety.
Same
You’re becoming my #1 network for news and documentaries 😂😂😂😂😂 great content per usual
This makes me happy that I am fairly minimalist on make up and skin care.
I quit following ALL beauty influencers- quit buying all that crap- I now stick a specific skin care brand and use few general beauty products ❤❤
It’s all free -sent to them to pretend to like it so suckers buy it and they get richer
It just looks like clutter to me... You only have one face!!
We can’t trust anyone anymore
Thank you for your video 🙏 no one can influence me and I have so little cosmetic that it fits in one small pouch bag and little shelf in bathroom! But other young people’s without fully developed brains and values, these videos will influence them very deeply! I think in education system we need new topics about commercial, influencer culture, e-marketing etc.
I use about 15 products a month not really into make up so majority is skin care and hair care
Same
50 and l know l have too much already for myself because stuff doesn’t get used or l have tester products l am just trying to use up. I can’t imagine more than what l, personally, have because l would be so stressed trying to use it all up before it expires 😵💫😱
Totally agree!
Kakayla is the worst beauty influencer. She will push any makeup facial cleanser for a fee! In my opinion. And her fake accent drives me bonkers!
I love your channel I came across it about a week ago and have been binge watching. I do like Allison. I have tried her tips and tricks and I gotta say it gave me a glow up. I for once in my life actually feel beautiful without makeup.
Thanks for watching ❤️
I’m curious where the data for 168 “toxins” comes from… anyone have a source for that??
SO interesting! I’m so glad I randomly came across your channel a few months ago cuz I love the topic ideas you come up with && your perspective on things.💜
Welcome aboard! Thanks so much for being here ❤️
Very few people give helpful recommendations. In skincare the more you learn about ingredients and formulas the less easily you are impressed. The same goes for learning ingredients, formulas and color theory for makeup. Very little is actually unique or high quality.
Her Ozempic really working can’t believe she’s not sponsored by them
Because it's the result of filters more than anything.
wowwwww the PR packages!
Wait... people live like this? It's moments like this that I'm so happy that I don't have social media and am happy to be my normal average self
These influencers don’t buy makeup they are given makeup. Most of us know this. So halls are just entertainment and not taken seriously
I use 7. Now the number that’s in my stash? Well…that’s none of your business 😂😂😂😂😂
Regarding skincare advise, I am very picky who I trust..... And I hear 'makeup collection', they do expired right so I do not understand the concept 😆
Your products can’t expire if you simply forget when you got them 😳
Agree 💯
Finally subscribed. I think this is the 5th video of yours I've watched and because I keep coming back I've decided to subscribe ❤
Love the anti consumerism angle but for the “toxin” chat I’ll go to experts
Hehe, I just thought of my husband. He really uses two products: a baby cream for some issues like dryness, eczema, etc. and a shampoo for everything else. And I can’t say he looks even the slightest worse than me 😳
Such a valid point! Same over here!
The 1st person screams FAKE
The 2nd person the IRS (🇺🇸 tax agency) could access huge tax fines on all unreported income and failing to disclose paid sponsored contributions
Those videos make me feel claustrophobic.
And then they land in a landfill to pollute the earth because they cannot be sold anymore, right?
Oh that’s a good point 🤔
I don’t care how much money she is earning or how many followers she has, what a vacuous way to move through your life. Horrible.
What does being trans have to do with it?
Feel if I use more product my skin would be overloaded.
watching Mikayla unbox all of that waste makes me not even want to put my Olay moisturizer on my body
I had to stop the video and count all my skincare, haircare, bodycare and makeup products. I use all of them monthly, most of them daily or weekly and I got 100 products total.
You can half that and then half again. Enough trash for earth 🌍
Thanks for sharing and trying this too ☺️
I hope you don’t feel the pressure to half or half again the amount of products you use. That wasn’t the point of the video necessarily
As long as you use and enjoy all the items and feel ok about using them then that’s okay
Of course if you feel like you can or want to cut back by all means go for it but I think being aware of what we are using and deciding whether or not we are okay with it is good to know xx
It's waste, greed, and selfishness.
The lip filler...
Yuk gross!! It looks awful on her, and everyone else for that matter!!
I know, looks terrible
Yay!! I love when you drop new content!
That little exercise to see what I use was eye-opening. I use up to 58 products in a month!
30 products including face skincare, hair and makeup. Including shampoos and conditioner
11 products incl shampoo & conditioner.. am I an alien? 😂😂
1. Go2 hair gel (for hair and eyebrows)
2. Mascara ( i have blue and black, mainly use black one)
3. Highlighter ( i have 5 colors green,blue,purple,yellow , mainly use white)
4. Lip liner ( i have 4 , 3 pinkish (duplicates) ,one red )
5. Lipstick ( beige and pink)
6. Eyeliner ( green,blue,brown and white)
7. Lip gloss ( pink and clear)
8. Eyeshadow ( beige and white )
So basically I have 22 makeup item but usually don't use it ,or use 7 product out of 22. ( I use same makeup for different part of face)
I use soap and micellar water hahahahha ( i tried face wash but idk , i feel like the soap does better )
And I think I have to much 😅
Has anyone seen the video by cc suarez exposing Mikayla? So interesting!
The chemo phobia is too much. - Your Local Chemist
