Abbot needs to be voted out. But in Texass it appears that the rule of law is for friends of the Governor. Texass is not a place of laws or fairness, Worst place ever to live. Denying climate change, when storms are more severe and heat waves last for 3 months straight. oh, you have air conditioning, though. Prisoners in your own homes. Can't even go out for a walk in 120 degree heat, and getting worse. Drill baby drill, Abbot. Go play some golf or something besides pardoning killers that aren't men of color.

@@wingman416 Are you high? My family lives in Texas and I live on the border of Texas and practically there all the time. How is the rule of law for his friends? What evidence do you have of that? You do know that weather happens and things get hot and things get cold. You do know that we had an ice age right? And that acid rain was going to happen in the 80's. No one in Texas, no one is a prison of their own home in Texas! And AZ has a gov who believes in climate change so does CA and death valley and Phoenix are so much hotter than Texas, fact. Drill baby drill for reals though. And pardoning a killer? You do know that BLM person had an AR47 that he was pointing at him and threatening him because he wanted to drive on the road the BLM protester was blocking? He should never have been charged. Trump supporters are all united by one word.....kruelty. Kruelty is the point.
Only Trump and his allies, his supporters, and their anointed are entitled to the rights and protections of the law, and if necessary, immunity from it. The rest of us are entitled only to kruelty, by their whim. This is how the powerful have ever kept the powerless divided and in their place, and enriched themselves in the process.
It is not just that the perpetrators of this kruelty enjoy it; it is that they enjoy it with one another. Their shared laughter at the suffering of others is an adhesive that binds them to one another, and to Trump.
Trump’s only true skills are kruelty, and the con. His ability to carry out that kruelty through word and deed makes them euphoric. It makes them feel good, it makes them feel proud, it makes them feel happy, it makes them feel united. And as long as he makes them feel that way, they will let him get away with anything, no matter what it costs them.

SUMMARY: A white Christian decorated serviceman was to marry a disabled black woman with no legs or arms. He was bravely using his right to carry to protect his partner in her wheel chair while she protested for equality.
They were attacked by the killer when he ran his car through their peaceful protest!
The airforce mechanic approached the car and asked the driver to stop ..with his gun lowered...only for the window to open and the killer to shoot the serviceman!
Not once ...but 5 times until he was dead.
He then drove over the veteran and fled the scene of the crime!!!!
    OMG That is insane!!!
It was later found that the shooter had been googling protests so he could drive through them and this was not his first.
And he was ofcourse a maga trump supporter who hated non white Christians and filled his social media with racist HATE!
A jury of his peers put him away for life. The system worked. Democracy and justice worked.
BUT NOW... GOV ABBOT NOT ONLY prevents him from spending even 1 year in prison...

In Canada, pardons are given by the non-partisan Parole Board of Canada. Anyone can apply for a pardon for $40, and pardons are granted only on the merits of the case.
It’s not necessary to infect your judicial system with politics. You choose to do it. No other country does it that way.
