Hi everyone, Martin here!
Here's a piano interpretation of our latest single '24 Light-Years'.
In this classical interpretation of '24 Light-Years', in a way, I'm going back to my roots and to the place where I first started playing the piano. Like many other pianists, I started out playing classical compositions and sheet music. This classical approach has been sitting unused on the shelf for many years now. Replaced by synthesizers and their endless possibilities for tweaking and layering sounds.
Working on '24 Light-Years', I imagined the song interpreted into a classical piece. I set myself the challenge of using only the piano, going for that grandiose emotional tonality that classical music can create. It has been a fun challenge, combining my past and my present in this piece. I hope you enjoy it!

This band has so many game-changing ideas. Not even just musically, but in the art of self-promotion and engagement with fans, which is equally important in this day & age. There's so much content surrounding the new record outside of what you'd hear on the album itself, and it isn't even out yet. I really respect you guys for that.

Imagine what a beautiful mind you must have to come up with this arrangement. I find myself coming back to listen to this pretty much everyday after work, it's therapeutic.
I started listening to this and my wife stopped by, said she liked it and then stayed for the remainder of the song. We would have played this during our wedding cocktail hour because this is classy as hell. On behalf of everyone here, please release a piano interpretation album of VOLA's best stuff (good luck cutting that down to 10 tracks).
