Love the simplicity and clarity of this video! Less talk, just art and a beautiful technique showed in an unpretentious way. Thank you for sharing this!♥️
I cover canvas with one sheet of toalet paper and add PVA glue mix with water on top of that. Do that several times, and with brush you create texture what you like. After that cover whith gesso and finally with paint.
Glad you liked them! Thank you so much for watching my contents. Hope you liked my other textured canvas contents also where I have used natural products for the texture. Thank you.
I use modeling paste wirh or without sand and it lasts forever. This method reminds me of doing theater sets. We used oatmeal and got great textured set walls for cheap 😊
If you add acrylic medium with it then it will be fine. I have done it in Feb of this year and till now it is in it's best condition. Try this. Thank you for watching the video.
Yes use dryer sheets make a great texture plus makes it very sturdy. Cheesecloth is really cool and blue paper towels make a fuzzy looking texture but don't tear them into pieces. Scott's cheap toilet paper makes really good paste.
I do acrylic and I have never seen this done before. I do wonder how long this painting will stay beatiful over time. If it dries out and will chip or flake off.
Please watch the video minutely you will find all the ingredients name and proximate amount. Thank you so much for watching my video and for asking this question.
Looks very good. Thanks. ... and love the music! The first piano peace is from heaven... For me... If you have the name of the partition would love to know which one it is... To try to play it myself...
You will not get the same texture with modeling paste. Both are different. You may try. Thank you for watching my video and also for inquiring. Hope you like my other texture canvas videos also. I have 12 videos on that.
Yes the paints are acrylic and yes rubbing alcohol can spread acrylic paint. Thank you so much for watching my video. Please try it and let me know in my instagram. myaaesthetic.a is my insta handle.
@@beingme3t I am not quit sure whether to let each thin layer dry out (under the rubber alchohol) Made one painting today but uncertain if I could have done a better job, it didn’t dry up.
Thanks for sharing. I thought about using coffee grinds, tissue and student washable glue. Wonder what would happen, lol~~~big dark stain? Maybe it would be a cool effect either way.
I do not care about archival......please enjoy process and take a photo...……………..we do not need to take it to the next dimension we go...everything has been done...enjoy this fun and spirits delight
I would never do this in my paintings. Better to get a molding paste from Golden or similar. Using paper and whole wheat flower this organic materials which will not last long.
I respect your thought but that was an experiment and it turned out so nice that I felt of sharing with everyone. I believe art is all about experiment. Thank you for watching my video and the comment.

Newbie here...what is PVA, please? I'm attempting to do my own artwork in my home...
Mikka Arrington - PVA is white glue.
Superb idea 💡 I will definitely try
Thank you so much for your appreciation. Please try and let me know who is it turned out. Thank you.

Glad you liked it. Thank you so much.
Jointing compound, sand, wood shavings etc all do a equally grand job....
Thank you so much.

This was so relaxing and helpful. Starting my first diy art project tomorrow so thank you!
I'm so glad! Best of luck for your new project.
Never use wheat or any flour in painting. It's not long lasting and you can see fungus over it in few months. Especially during winter.
If you add acrylic medium with it then it will be fine. I have done it in Feb of this year and till now it is in it's best condition. Try this. Thank you for watching the video.
I was a bit dubious about the method so I appreciate the heads up.
I use plaster of Paris mixed with water and it works fine and will not mold.
@@beingme3t but how long will it last indeed? 10 yrs, 20 yrs? Or just 5 yrs?
Couldn't one just seal it with Modge Podge?
Im trying to add texture to my realistic cresent moon painting. Hope this helps. Thank you!
Best of luck! Thank you so much for watching and trying it.
Some really interesting ideas here. You just can't beat a canvas prepped this way. Gives the artwork a real quality look.
Thank you so much. Glad you like it.
Excellent work 👍
Thank you so much.
I recently used dryer sheets that had been usd. That was fun!
Yes use dryer sheets make a great texture plus makes it very sturdy. Cheesecloth is really cool and blue paper towels make a fuzzy looking texture but don't tear them into pieces. Scott's cheap toilet paper makes really good paste.
Used dryer sheets work very well
Good to know! Thank you so much for watching my content. Thank you.
Really lovely. Could you share the colours you used please?
I do acrylic and I have never seen this done before. I do wonder how long this painting will stay beatiful over time. If it dries out and will chip or flake off.
It is still same and beautiful as before . You may try. Thank you for watching.
Nice ideas but for everlasting art works use Gesso, or mix white cement with white glue and tissue papers , sand or even gauze pads like bandages
Thank you.
I was going to say same. I've used whole pieces of tissue in gesso, creating waves on a shoreline. Use a brush with gesso over your design if needed.
Super! thanks for sharing 🎉
Thanks for visiting.
Amazing
Thank you so much Riddhi.
Awesome 👍
Thanks 🤗
Nice technique ! So amazing
Glad you like it!
@@beingme3t yes ilove painting also. check my artwork thank you
Instead of wheat flour, try using caulking material, or plaster of paris with your tissue paper.
Thank you so much for your suggestion.
Harder to get hold of...wheat flour is available everywhere.
Amazing, I'm glad I found this video
Glad you liked it! Thank you so much.
You are explaining very well without words 👍
Can we use POP instead of flour?
Thank you so much for your appreciation. You can use pop also but if you want the same texture then you have to use wheat flour. Thank you.
Wow
Thank you so much.
This is gorgeous. Are you using facial tissue paper? Thank you!
Thank you so much for your appreciation. I am glad that you liked my content. Yes, I have used facial tissue paper.

it would be nice to see the measurements and show on screen what you are mixing .. after all it is a how to video yes?
Please watch the video minutely you will find all the ingredients name and proximate amount. Thank you so much for watching my video and for asking this question.
You can use things like sand instead of the wheat flour if you don't want to use an edible item
Your work is an inspiration... thank you for sharing... and lovely peace of music too
Thank you so much for you nice words. I am glad that it has inspired you. Thank you.
That's fabulous, what colours are the dark and blue.. Just delicious

Why not use store bought molding/modeling paste and add substances like sand, etc? I use Golden.

Could u recommend a substitute for whole wheat flour?
Actually whole wheat flour has gluten which basically creates this texture. Thank you so much for watching my content.
will it stick onto the canvas forever?
Yes, of course. Thank you so much for watching my content.
Hello. Very nice video. Could you please specify what kind of medium do you use? Thanks.
Thank you so much for watching my content. Please check the video for the medium. You may watch my other texture canvas contents also for the medium.
Love this. We’re you mixing alcohol or water with the paint?
I have mixed water with the paint.
Brilliant love the video and enjoyed the music and easy to understand Thank You
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for such an inspiring and nice comment.

Glad you enjoyed it..
What did you add to the torn paper?
Thank you so much for sharing this, very inspiring ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it!
I didn’t catch when you have used the alcohol rubbing ... can we just use glue ?
You cant use glue instead of rubbing alcohol. Rubbing alcohol in wet acrylic surface gives a nice texture.
Ps. Wheat flour is not recommended because after sometime it will certainly rot and emit foul smell.
To get the bubbles in the top of the painting, does the layers have to be thin and almost watery?
Yes the layer should be thin. Thank you for watching the video.
@@beingme3t I am not quit sure whether to let each thin layer dry out (under the rubber alchohol) Made one painting today but uncertain if I could have done a better job, it didn’t dry up.
how long do u wait for the texture to dry before painting
I have used hair dryer to dry it. You can touch it and see.
@@beingme3t i see, thank you for the advice

Hi,
I'm wondering would the flour crack over time? Thanks!!
Not at all. Thank you for watching for my video.
What do u mix with white tissue paper???
what kind of acrylic medium?
Thank you for your interest. It is Camel medium 1. This is generally used for transparency and water color effect.

can I add white paint instead of medium?
Yes you can.
Excellent. I have a question. What is the container at the beginning when you add the paper?
Thank you so much. Which one ?
Whoa.....
Thank you so much.
What is the acrylic medium
Beautiful
Thank you.
Ciao! Posso sapere che cosa contiene quella boccetta bianca che inserisci nella ricetta ?

What medium did u add to the texture? Thanks
It is acrylic medium.
What is the medium for acrylic paints?
Very nice tips, thank you for sharing
Thank you so much for watching my video and taking out your time for comment.
Why did you only say to add a layer of white acrylic paint - and then no other descriptions of what you used until we get to rubbing alcohol?
I thought those who paints will understand easily those steps after the white layer. Those are only applying acrylic paints one by one.
You mix your gold powder with???
I mixed the gold powder with acrylic medium.
what is the recipe for the combo of wheat flour v water?
Instead of alcohol & wheat what can be used?
Wish you would describe what you are using.
I couldn’t agree more.
What is medium in your list of things required?
Since you are using organic material (wheat) any chances to f fungus growing on the canvas? Do let me know
No till now its condition is as good as before.
oh great. Thanks 👍
Hema Sawant maybe a spray varnish could be applied to seal everything in?
Or paint over with Gesso?
I would never do this in my paintings. Better to get a molding paste from Golden or similar. Using paper and whole wheat flower this organic materials which will not last long.
My thought too. Think plain flour would be better or a mixture of gel medium and powder or even just gel and tissue.
I respect your thought but that was an experiment and it turned out so nice that I felt of sharing with everyone. I believe art is all about experiment. Thank you for watching my video and the comment.
You can substitute flour with baking soda or baby powder.
@@beingme3t Great job and thanks for sharing.
It might last long if it's been varnished.
great job! Btw what medium did you use to give the painting less viscosity?
If no use wheat floor u have any other subtitles
Beautiful... You have a new friend 👍🖤
Thank you so much.
What powder did u use to make that shinny golden brown?
It is Camel acrylic color powder. color name- Bronze 025.
Can we get the materials/substance you are using.thk you
