When you sit around five Brits who have all had a few beers on a summer evening, you do not have to expect a 100% mouthful. It was a bit like that at Ilosaarirock in 2017 when Kjell Simosas met Nothing But Thieves, who had just finished his gig before the meeting. There was both euphoria and fatigue in the air. Discussions ranged from nightly adventures in Riga to barbecue sessions on the tour bus during a tour of the United States. A few months after the interview, the band released their second album, Broken Machine, which reached number two on the album chart back home in England. Even if the band members fuck with each other 24/7, I promise that the discussion will end in the sign of love.
