I never realized before that Richard Lewis had such a big ego. From seeing him on other podcasts before I thought he was a composed, thoughtful journalist, but damn! This was eye-opening. I wish someone had responded to some of his very debatable arguments.
Some constructive criticism about the podcast: you need the guests to disagree with each other more often. It gets incredibly painful and cringey to hear everyone agree with each other over and over. I get the podcast is pretty much a circle of friends hanging out, but still, it loses any sort of entertainment factor.
That's why guests like Destiny are always great as they're never afraid to contest or confront an opinion spouted by someone else. That or try to get new people that you know disagree with your regulars? It just seems like common sense to me. It would make the podcast much better.

He is literally the reincarnation of Hunter S. Thompson of esports. Agree or disagree with his demeanor, his journalism is legit and without a doubt, he is the most influential investigative journalist in esports. He broke more stories of corruption and despotism in esports than everyone combines.

Sadly it is not because you are experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to certain fields and topics that you can spout generalizations and ignorant statements related to every other topic out there. In fact, considering he is such a high profile gaming journalist, he should be more careful with what he says in front of an audience that most likely believe whatever gospel he sings.
Anyhow, my point was that he usually sounded intelligent and reasonable in the past, but on this podcast he said some really dumb shit and made it sound like he possessed god-given truth.
