It must be very gratifying for people to see Scott in so many different locations on these rail tours rather than just having him running back & forth between the capitals as in the past. Enjoy everyone!!!!
Thank you Dave , I would have gone above the tunnel but the farmer had put a lot of bulls in the field , they were giving that look daring me to go in and make their day ! David
Hi David , great smooth panning shot, Got slides of FS years ago in Devon , not many followers then What is the attraction ? , must be the blinker's ,Still nice to see steam. Dave
Thanks Dave , the local BBC TV gave Scotsman a big send up on the morning news and also gave the times . Probably be the same on Monday when it comes back . David
I'm with you on that . I nearly didn't get anything as the farmer started ploughing the field he was getting closer and closer , as luck would have it he stopped to watch Scotsman with us .
The name Flying Scotsman is above the centre wheel on the side of the loco , the name Cathedrals Express on the front is the name of the train it was hauling .
May be a daft question...but why do they have a double header and what was it? I saw this a little earlier up the line between Nynehead and the back of Relyon
Some of the Devon hills could have been a challenge for Flying Scotsman on its own and the train would have been only eight or nine coaches instead of the thirteen which were all fully booked . The other loco was a LMS class 5 44871 . David

Nicely done David. Regards Dave.

Almost like Gordon and Henry
They look very nice together.
Yes they look great , sounded like an odd couple but really worked well . David
Great pictures, and good to see so many people out. 👍🏻
Thank you , whenever I film in this field I'm normally the only person there , just shows the attraction of Flying Scotsman .
Super video of the steam duo David. Quite a crowd gathered to see them pass too. Regards. Allan.
Thanks Allan , the local BBC TV gave out the times on the morning news . I'm usually the only person here . Regards David
Great panned clip of "Scotsman" and the Black 5 Dave, she sounds great! Thanks for posting. Ken
Thanks Ken , the local BBC news gave Scotsmans visit a lot of publicity . David
Happy to see they ditched the 47 prior to this, lovely to see them today.

Why does it say Cathedrals Express on the front and not the Flying Scotsman?
