No Sir, for an employee whose normal increment is on 1st. July , if his MACP is applicable w.e.f. 1st. July to 31 st December , his cannot opt for his pay fixation from 1st July of next year ... you can never grant the benefit of difference of Pay for more than 6 months to an employee . It is n contravention to Rule 10 of CCS Revised Pay Rules 2016 . As per OM No. 4-21/2017/IV-E-III A dt. 28.Nov. 2019 of Min of Finance, mention of analogy of Circular dt. 31.07.2018 of Deptt. of Expenditure, has been mentioned clearly. *For employees whose intitial/original date of increment was on 1st July, and whose MACP/upgradation has fallen within 1st. Jan to 30th June , only they can opt for fixation of pay from 1st. July. Likewise, For employees whose intitial/original date of increment was on 1st January, and whose MACP/upgradation has fallen within 1st. July to 31st. December, , only they can opt for fixation of pay from 1st. January.* Please correlate with Illustration of Rule 10 of CCS Revised Pay Rules 2016. In a gist, one can never be granted the benefit of Difference of Pay (on the analogy of difference of grade pay in 6th CPC Regime) for more than 6 months. Benefit of employee cannot be a ground for allowing him difference of pay for more than 6 months, it is contradicting rule 10 of CCS RP Rules 2016, and it is a misinterpretation of OM dt. 28.11.2019.

Sir, suddenly in feb 2024, our drdo deptt discovered an error of my pay fixation of 2011 and Re-fixation is on process. My query is that should an error can be corrected after detected more than 5yrs? And 2nd query is: i was having my increment date as 1st sept from 2005 onwards in GP 4200. I got macp to gp 4600 from 1st sept 2008 to 31st aug 2011. Because from 1st sept 2011, i got the actual promotion to GP 4600. May i take 2nd option during my macp from 1.9.2008? If not, should i get 2 increments, one for my yearly increment & other one for my promotion? Please help. Our office also confused for my case

Sir, I was promoted under MACP III and my pay was fixed under FR21(1)a(1) on Ist. July. And under rule 10 I will have to get my next increment on 1st. July that is after completion of 6 six months, but there was one day strike during July to December and that strike period is yet to be decided by the higher authority while the pay for the period was not drawn . Kindly clarify whether I will be eligible for increment on 1st. January .
My employer is saying that since I have already got benefit of increment in macp from level 5 to 6 then I am not eligible for further pay fixation benefit from level 6 to 7 w.e.f. 11.10.2022.but sir due to equal cell in level 6,7 and 8 there is no fitment benefit available. Only higher responsibilities given in that case two increment benefit can be availed on 1.7.23 as per fr22 (1) 1(a)

Yes, you can change your option, if your officer want....
Sir mistake hone pr kitne din ke ander option change kr sakte hai. Or sir ye option choose ka option 7th pay commission se hai ya 6 pay commission se.

Sir, I was promoted to the next rank on 08 Feb 2018 and the date of increment was Jan, that time I was not taken the option fixed due to lack of my knowledge. Now if I'm willing to take the option fix from Feb 2018 if it is possible. Kindly help.
If you had not selected any option, then your fixation would have been done from February 2018 itself.
As per latest information, govt has decided to provide 3 month period to get your pay fixed according to second option.
जिसका प्रमोशन जून 2016 में हुआ है और वेतन निर्धारण ऑप्शन 2 के अनुसार हुआ है वेतन वृद्धि जुलाई है लेकिन 28/11/19 के om के तहत वेतन वृद्धि जनवरी होनी चाहिए थी मेरी वार्षिक वेतन वृद्धि अभी भी जुलाई ही है मैने इस सम्बंध में विभाग को बताया तो उन्होंने एक माह की अवधि वाला नियम बताकर वापस कर दिया क्या नियतः मुझे पुनः ऑप्शन देना होगा या मेरा ऑप्शन पहले वाले के अनुसार ही रहेगा वेतन निर्धारण तो सही है केवल DNI बदलाव होगी

सर मेरा प्रमोशन 8 जून 2016 को हुआ था मेने पे कमीसन का एरियर छोड़ कर जुलाई से फिक्सेशन कराई थी जिससे की मुझे 2 इंक्रीमेंट मिले थे और फिक्सेशन 6th पे कमीसन वाली लास्ट बेसिक पर कराई थी तब मुझे जुलाई से ही इंक्रीमेंट दिया गया था क्या अब मै इसे रिवाइज करा कर 1जनवरी 2017 से इंक्रीमेंट ले सकता हूं और जो बेसिक 1/7/2017 को दी गई वही बेसिक मुझे 1/1/2017 से दी जाएगी या एक इंक्रीमेंट डाउन किया जाएगा बताए सर

For pay fixation there must be uniform. What for options 2? Most of the employees don't know that there are two options in pay fixation. Actually this has been done for creating misunderstanding among the same category of employees. Options 2 must be abolish in future.
