- The Kentucky Derby us a classic and can you believe I have NEVER done a derby party!? If you are looking for a great excuse to get some friends together, dress up and watch sporting event that lasts only a few minutes (so you can get back to the run for the rosé punch) this party is for you.

Beaten biscuits with country ham, cheese grits, burgoo, derby pie (basically pecan pie with chocolate chips) and of course mint tulips is a traditional derby menu...Your menu looks great too.❤

When your in Kentucky you should totally try an Ale-8 it's a Kentucky soft drink (think a ginger ale kind of beverage) its bottled and sold in Kentucky and is totally delicious they even ship out of state if someone wanted some for a Kentucky derby party

What if you have a guest who doesn't drink alcohol?
Kaitlin Lewis that is a great question! I would recommend doing a sparkling Juice and serve it in a champagne glass so the guest still feels festive! Would that work for you?
Yes Theodore Leaf it does work, but it something that the kids would also love and enjoy or if you have a pregnant guest.
