Hi Darcy! Your pink Love Note is gorgeous!! Thank you for sharing that acrylic yarns and more affordable yarns have their place too!!❤ Your new mittens look so sweet! I loved seeing all of your projects and can’t wait to see your vintage ski decor with your crochet garland. Thank you for brightening my day sweet friend!!❤️😊❤️
Another amazing episode and love those mittens! Knitting another Flying Geese hat 😳 as a gift for a cousin. My 3rd. I promise to try your other patterns soon 😁. Thanks again, Melissa at Bella Fio.
Acrylics have come a long way and there are some very nice ones. I always use acrylic for blankets and I’m working on a sweater right now in acrylic (Premier Everyday Worsted) for my daughter who is very sensitive to wool. It has it’s place. Your new hat pattern is so pretty! The mittens too - the colors you used look minty to me, like Pink Peppermint or Minty Stripes.
You are right, acrylics really are nice these days, and they do have their place. I am very pleased with my new sweater. Thank you so much for watching.

Hi Darcy! Lots of great things in this episode!! I love your sweater and that you made it in a very budget friendly yarn. I’m really looking forward to hearing some feedback on how the yarn is behaving in a few months. Fun new patterns coming!!!!! I like your name of Sweet Stripes….it would definitely work for both mittens and cowl. Your bag looks fantastic! You need to make another pair of Grinch’s heart socks or maybe a Grinch’s heart hat? Sounds like y’all had great fun on your trip! I’ve been watching Missouri Star videos since my youngest son was born (14 years now.). One of these days, my sister and I are going to take a trip to Missouri. Looking forward to seeing your ski all decorated for Christmas! I usually start decorating right after Thanksgiving. Take care!!
Thanks Susan, you will love Missouri Star, it is quite an amazing place. Last April I was there, and Jenny Doan was actually filming a video in the main building. It was fun to see her in action.

Your Love Note looks great! I had no idea that Walmart had their own line of yarn now. That might be good for some stockings…
Why not Peppermint Stripes mittens? It would be a nice nod to the Holiday Season.
