Piedmont Wyoming

On this photo adventure we explore the old western ghost town Piedmont Wyoming. Piedmont is rich with history and a crucial supplier of charcoal to Salt Lake County Utah’s mining operations. Three of the Piedmont Kilns still stand to this day and are open for the public to explore free of charge. A few historic homes are still standing but are in a state of decay due to the elements. Some of these structures are on private property so respect the signage and stay off private land. A small group of structures have no posted no trespassing signs and seem to be free to explore just use your best judgment and be safe and respectful of the past.
