Starring Talya Çelebi and Cenay Türksever, "Gelin" is the life story of two people from entirely different worlds: Hançer, who gives up her dreams for her loved ones on the one hand, and Cihan, who has fire in his eyes on the other.
Hançer, who gets her name from her sharp gaze, faces an offer that will turn her life upside down. Taking advantage of the fact that Hançer is poor and has a family that will not cause trouble, Mukadder Develioğlu offers her to marry her son and give birth to a son. Hançer, who dreams of finding the love of her life and having a happy marriage, first rejects this offer, but when she learns that her brother has a fatal illness, she is forced to accept the offer. Nothing will ever be the same for Cihan and Hançer, who have entered an irreversible path. Will these two young people, drawn into a big game and lost in a dark labyrinth, fall under the spell of love instead of the planned games?

Can't say it was great, but it's definitely better than a few previous episodes. Finally Hançer had a few lines, which is an improvement. I do hope her character becomes the MAIN one instead of Beyza (irony intended). The cliffhanger over the clinic was also a good idea. It left me wondering if Cihan's important task is an investigation on the doctor.
Anyway, I did like this episode. I hope the writers keep on stirring the story towards the main couple instead of odious Beiza and her never-ending monologs.
I am sorry but if you put even 3 episodes daily, it is not worth watching. The script is just awful and very slow to keep us interested to watch it. You are just wasting the potential of great actors. 8 weeks and 2 episodes in each and zero progress and very boring. Watch some soap opers like ruzgarli Tepe maybe you will be inspired to make your work an exciting to watch. Farewell, and good luck to make it resist to 50 episodes

2 beautiful main characters in a slow boring show…. Watching cuz of their good looks. And why they always showing his annoying ex wife way more than his current wife… get it together writers …I do more forward than watching 😂 tired of seeing his ex wife plotting.

Hancer should just totally shut down. The more cruel they get, the more she should stop talking and make Cihan really worry. He cares for her and now he doesn’t know what to do. Her getting really sick will make him feel guilty and worried enough to keep his mom away from her and then he will want take care of her himself. This will drive Beyza crazy!

Finally finished watching this episode. Those last two mysterious phone calls Cihan made: they could be buisiness related ( the producers want us to think so), but ,more and more, I think they were to investigate the doctor's past..Dr Yasemin phone call had an effect😊

It’s not the actors’ fault they follow the script it would be a very good series if the writers thought more or used their imagination. The same happened with Esaret series. Great actors terrible script I don’t think the actors were desperate the biggest problem is that what on earth is happening why doesn’t production listen to us people who actually we are the ones who will make a series a success or not it is sad this series has great potential but they are letting it go down the drain. Ruzgarli Tepe is doing fine but we must point out that it has 12 screenwriters the music is Minor’s the greatest composer in Turkey and abroad and more money is spent the actors are excellent but Gelin’s main actors are extremely good too 😊

The only way for this storyline to work is if Cihan and Hancer conceive a child naturally, it cannot possibly work any other way, it's unethical, dishonourable, and cruel.
The poor girl is shut away in a house alone for days on end, she see no-one except the cold bitch of a Mother who degrades and taunts her and the maids who bring her food, the more I watch the angrier I get 🤬🤬🤬🤬
If there is any chance of a love story between Cihan and Hancer he has got stop this treatment and judging by episode 19 teaser it appears that's what he does, he races to the hospital where Hancer is having this procedure done so I'm assuming Cihan finds something out about this Doctor.
They really need to move this story on a pace now, give some realistic screentime to the couple and more dialogue for Hancer for goodness sake.
Can't believe we have got to wait until next week for another episode, this weekend has been a total waste of time, no progress, and Beyza, Beyza, Beyza, cannot stand the woman. 😡😡

Finally we see Cihan worries about Hander he does not know what to do and he can’t stop of thinking about her. A little progress. Now I want to know if This Bayza is related to the producer or the director or scriptwriters. Because she does wherever she wants and no body find out the true and she get more scenes then the main characters. How can this be possible. 😏😔. She get away with everything. I love what Hander did to Cihan . So he felt bad. He already started feeling bad. Now he will start falling in love with her. Little by little. This series is great. They just need to make some changes and speed up a little bit. We need some true to star coming out. Like her sister in law still the money and this Bayza need to be out of that house and they need to find out how bad is the mother in love. I hope Yasmine Engin sister help her. 😢💔

За час тольком ничего не увидела, словно черепаший ход, Джихан красивый но тупой, Бейза бесит змея, они друг друга стоят, подходящяя к этой семье и свекрови. Таким ходом за год снимут 10 серий, можно смотреть через 5 лет полностью. 😅 Всем кто смотрит терпение, у меня не хватило. 🤭😜
Çihan a pesar de todas las advertencias de la doctora Yasemin, sigue con el procedimiento....no es él quien quiere el hijo a ley y fuerza, sino que es Mukadder,.....pero no se doblega y sigue con ese procedimiento, aún sabiendo que no es tan seguro para Hançer, por el momento......no hay razón que entre en su mente, porque su enojo controla sus emociones!!
Ojalá que se arrepienta en el último momento y no permita ese procedimiento y pueda más la razón, que su enojo!!! 😔💔💔
Así Hançer se libera de la doctora que está siendo chantajeada por Beyza!!!
Sin lugar a duda algo tiene que suceder y Hançer no llegue a someterse a ese procedimiento, Engin o Çihan o alguien tiene que interferir por el bien de Hançer!!!!
Entonces Hancer nunca deberia estar de acuerdo y proceder a firmar el contrato. Deberia haber buscado otra forma de ayudar a su hermana endermo.

Hançer tuvo que haber sido sincera con él y decirle para que era el dinero, pero tal vez por pena, no tuvo la confianza en decirle, Çihan supo lo del hermano, por Engin, aunque ignora todo lo demás!!!
Lo de testarudo, es porque sabe que es un procedimiento complicado y aún así siguió con el procedimiento y Hançer pensó que todo sería de manera natural y no por IVF.

I think something is going to happen, Cihan is concern about Hançer cos he was asking her about if she is having any side effects when she is getting treatment and he still arrogant and allowing procedure to go ahead and he is aware that this procedure is dangerous & painful, he is full of himself, he doesn't ask himself what if something happens to Hançer, he is going to attend the meeting while this poor girl is in difficult situation, we will see what's going to happen in the next episode
