I got this scooter a bit before this video came out. I'm a college student, and it's a 3-mile ride from my apartment to campus. This scooter is awesome for getting around. I've already put 150 miles on it in just one semester.
I got mine today, and was worried about all the play in the handlebars, but you can take that retracting sleeve bit on the folding handlebars and give it a half twist and it'll tighten up pretty solid. It's not a threaded screw, but more like a cam mechanism you can completely rotate either way. Between that and tightening the handlebar adjustment clamp, you can get the steering pretty tight.
@@atys2346 I'm really happy with it. You can't beat the price. It costs half of anything else in its class, and costs less than smaller city commuter scooters. It tops out at 35mph, but that's a pretty _rational_ top speed. One reviewer said it has LG cells. I'm not going to cut open the pack to confirm that, but that's a big plus if true. I was wrong about the handlebars, after some riding there's a little bit of play you can't tighten away, but it's just a tiny bit, and doesn't have *any* affect on control. It's essentially the same as the Solar P1 pro, Nanrobot D4+, and YUME Y10, but with different front suspension, small differences in motor power and battery capacity, and half the price. I often have second thoughts on big purchases, but not with this.
@@atys2346 _(To clarify, It's the handlebar grip folding mechanism that has some play, not the folding stem or height adjustment, and when you're riding you're pushing downward on the handles, so that mostly cancels the effect. You can tighten the adjusting-height stem and the folding-for-storage mechanism so it's rock solid, there's no play in steering, and it's not going to fold on you while you're riding)_
@@atys2346 Awesome, YW,. I hope it goes smooth and you're happy with it. You might try their site first, as it's 60 bucks cheaper there. When I tried it, the payment system wasn't working, so I had to go to that _prime_ place with the big blue trucks. Let me know if there's anything specific you want to see, I could put up a video.
Dang that is a somewhat reasonable price for the performance it claims to offer. Like you said though, longevity may not be up there with other more reputable models.
Can somebody drop a vid how to adjust the brakes cuz like they rubbing tight as hell lol n I think I done stripped this hex bolt smh trying loosen this caliper with the tools giving, besides that scooter is A1
Got mine today, tires say tubeless. I don't know how to identify by stem or anything, but they say tubeless. They're pretty deeply discounted now, looks like they're going out of business or something. Paypal wouldn't work on their site, had to buy on Amz.
Bro! If u “go all in on a super rugged off road model” as u put it (which is out there). You wouldn’t be paying $999. To put that out there as if the manufacturer didn’t think of that in your expert opinion… means you forgot that you r reviewing a scooter that only $1k as opposed to the $4k that has everything u wish this one had. This is an awesome scooter with all its “plastic“ for the price. 👎🏻
It's good to see a new upload at last! I look forward to watching this later over breakfast 🤩

Are those tires tubeless and solid? Or do they need tubes and air?
