In a teamsport these tests are always done collectively. You should have someone in the same shape as you do the tests with you, since you probably never have done them by yourself before. By doing so you don´t loose the competitive aspect that you used to have everyday in training. Thanks for a great video
Hey Matt. I’ve been a big follower of yours for years now, I even came to a Colorado Springs Switchbacks game one year and saw you even play in person! That was back when you were in FC Tulsa. I just want you to know you have been one of the biggest inspirations in my life, football career and outside…and I just personally get this sense that internally you miss playing, and hate how far you’ve seen yourself fall from your own standards, but I just want to tell you that you continue to motivate and inspire me every single day. I use your stretching videos, I use the solo drills you post and watched A LOT of your vlogs throughout your journey, even when you went down to New Zealand that one season. It has been incredible, from the viewer standpoint to see how you have grown, and I just wanted to say thank you….for everything you do and all that you have given me. I think you’re one of the best diplomats of the beautiful game, because I see how your hard work has rewarded you with the ability to play soccer for a living, and do what you love and inspire people like myself….so don’t be too hard on yourself, it is never too late to achieve your goals, I know you’ll get back to where you wanna be, cuz Matt Sheldon is a beast, thank you for being you and doing what you do
God Bless, thanks brother. I need to get fit again as well lol. Always thinkin of playin soccer again, just gotta get healthy enough to not fall over.🙏
I’m 31 turning 32 this summer and I know it’s a long shot but I’m going to attempt to get back into match fitness and try out for some USL teams at the end of the year. Any tips or advice for me? Love the content btw !
Can you speak on the benefits of having people by your side, training with you, and pushing your limits? I couldn’t do any of it on my own but when I had teammates with me, I could do better than I thought.
Yo bro how's Mumbai City FC because I got a trial at a club here in one of Belgium's countryside town ranked the same as that club globally on global football rankings, I'm 19 it's not for the main team because main is as good as Mumbai city FC and this one called Bengalur/Bengal, it's for the u21 team, I'm new to Belgium so I don't understand the clubs here I just had this trial arranged by a Coach from England I knew when I used to live there and play in seventh division last year. The only thing I could find online was their pitches and global ranking no actual proper videos of this Belgian club.
Hi I have been following for a few years. How can I get in touch with you? I also am former/current player, coach, director and have small company doing trainings etc
Respect brother!! This is wild! I’m also challenging myself to get back in shape and chase a pro career again at 33, What are the odds...? I’m a dad too. I’m documenting everything myself and I would LOVE to check out your program and maybe even try it live on my streams.💪💪
Between long school days filled with classes, homework, and constant assignments, a demanding soccer schedule with intense practices, training sessions, and the pressure of improving as a goalkeeper, and the endless list of daily responsibilities that somehow always appear at the worst possible moments, life can feel like a nonstop cycle of rushing from one commitment to the next with barely any time to pause. Mornings begin early with preparation for school, followed by hours of focusing, learning, and trying to stay organized while keeping up with everything teachers assign. After that comes the physical grind of soccer-running drills, sharpening reactions, practicing positioning, and pushing through tiring practices that leave little energy left for anything else. Even once practice ends, the day still isn’t finished, because homework, studying, and other responsibilities wait at home, along with the small everyday tasks that somehow pile up into a mountain of things that need to get done. By the time the evening arrives, the schedule has already been packed with effort, movement, and constant attention to what comes next, making it seem almost impossible to squeeze anything else into the day. Yet with this extremely time consuming schedule and my outrageous unavailable status, I always have time to watch Become Elite.
This man is enduring torture for our enjoyment.
Well... Are we not entertained??? 🙌🐯⚔️

It’s even an opportunity for special guests to break from the monotony 😉
Come to India 🇮🇳 play in Indian Super league bro

Use Claude code for your programs
how do you know how fast you need to be running during the beep test?
Just try it out. You get used to the pacing quickly.
Where is that pitch?
It’s not so bad
shouldnt wear fg boots on ag
Random question - is that Fish tape ? or what do you use to measure out the distances?
Hi I have been following for a few years. How can I get in touch with you?
I also am former/current player, coach, director and have small company doing trainings etc
Sir can you please make a video on how to recover fully from a groin injury please 🙏🏻 (btw Great video) ❤
Have you watched Matt’s videos on recovering from patellar tendinitis and abdominal wall surgery?
Marr do you play sunday league? if so are u dominating as an ex pro?
I am 11 an i got 12-9
Vo2max 59 vs the 2 mile result don't match up at all 👀👀 13 min+ would be more like vo2max 50.

Odds? Extremely extremely......extremely low. However, YOU could be the "one" !
Neal Kennedy.. is that you
