Why don’t police departments start suing these media outlets for defamation??
years and years of mainstream media outlets pushing hateful headlines meant to divide people and have us at each other's throats have made the job much more dangerous for law enforcement as well. If anybody has the right to despise the media it's the police.

I agree with calling out big media on what they're doing; but this isn't what he said. Both of those bills actually stop the public's ability to hold police accountable for false arrests and illegal searches of innocent citizens. Which does happen quite often. Ask yourself what constitutes harassment, it's a loose description. Good luck trying to film any police from now on in FL. Nothing he *listed in those bills* addresses the media at all, they're trying to stop the public videos that are catching the actual bad cops and the public watchdog groups that are actually paying attention to corruption in the police force.

SB 184 makes it illegal after you have been verbally warned to approach a first responder or remain within 25 feet while the responder is performing a legal duty with the intent to: Block or interfere with their ability to perform the duty

Yet the closest this Dexter is ever going to get to any laboratory now, is while he is being dissected on a gurney in a forensic laboratory. Talk about making bad decisions at the age of 18. Well at least for that Dexter's final act, at least he won a Darwin award.

Florida resident here. We do not love our police. The majority of them are petty tyrants that violate your rights on a daily basis and 95% of them couldn’t tell you what Florida code 901.151 says which is our ID law.

I think more people need to sue the media. If I recall correctly, CNN got sued by the high school student who was smiling at the Native American guy. CNN and the left-wing media stations accused the student of being racist, as they only showed selected clips of the situation, and NEVER interviewed that young man. What right does the government have to create a seat belt law in the first place? It doesn't. You have a right to inter-state travel freely and you cannot have a inter-state travel without intra-state travel. The government cannot deny a right based on the "speculative possibility" you could be harmed if you did not wear a seat belt because it would deny your constitutional guarantee to travel freely, without government interference, by the government who is on a totalitarian trip. The law was written for insurance company's who paid state legislators to go along with it.
