sir, good day. today i am studying hyper mist system. I am watching your video. may i ask, when the pump is running, how much is the discharge pressure on the gauge glass? and what pressure the water comes out through the nozzle?
The pressure depends how many point you have open if you will open more sections pressure will drop.It is better to isolate the fire at the beginning rather than if it spread around the engine room. If fire will not be stopped at the beginning a total lost will come for sure as engine room is a really flammable zone.About the relative operating pressure there is diagrams which shows exactly the capacity of the pump and different operating conditions. The proper function of nozzle is to create a mist not drops. This will help effectively to reduce the heat and isolate oxygen from fire.
When a false alarm activated we check our machineries from local and we try to determine if it is real or not.Sometimes local everything is fine but in alarm system you have indication of false.
