Ok, the kiss thing got me shook. Two years ago I went on an exchange to Canada, I went with a couple of my best friends, we met there two Korean girls, they were super nice and really sweet and we learned a lot of them and their country and culture, I hope they learned something about us too jsjsjs.
In Mexico we use to say hello with a kiss on the cheek, it's super common between girls and girl-boy but between boys is "strange" I don't agree but well, it's like that. So when we get together with them and we kissed on the cheek between us they were surprised and curious, one day they asked us why do we do it, we were like "in Korea it isn't common?" They were like "no, it is even uncomfortable or bad seen if you do that with people who isn't your couple" we were like ":00000". It was a little shocking but we learned that from them.
