Cheers for this, I have been researching "barbecue grilling tips" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Ariafan Barbecue Babassu - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my mate got cool success with it.

you can actually make turkey twizzlers using that technique, just use turkey sausages, bread them and fry them!

Another awesome hack is to occasionally spray beer on top of the meat as it's grilling - keeps the heat coming and creates the most awesome aroma imaginable

Hey Sorted, Just wanted to say thanks for you guys have inspired me to pursue something that I've always enjoyed throughout life but never made that step to do it as a career, But recently got a job as an apprentice chef in a really nice restaurant in the city in live near and it has been the best decision I have ever made :)

That is a completely brilliant way to check your propane tank, thank you for the tip!
A few other hacks - get a non-coated slate tile sample (12"x24"), scrub and wash, and place on the grill to heat. It will distribute heat and you can cook on the surface. A Himalayan salt slab works well too. You can also place a tinfoil cup of aromatic wood chips in the BBQ to give different smoked flavours. BBQ watermelon is rather amazing. Cook paella on the bbq (in a paella pan of course - a round Weber kettle grill is perfect for this) for a smokey flavour too. Happy summer!

A lemon half can also be used to clean up your grill since the citric acid dissolves the fat. And it gives off a nice aroma as well :)

When grilling fish, heat up the grill, and cut a potato in half, and run the cut side across the grill. The starch in the potato will fill in any pits or scratches, preventing the fish from 'relaxing' into them, and sticking when you go to flip or serve.
