IK Multimedia iRig HD2 is, as the name implies, already the second generation of iRig HD mobile audio interface for guitar players. The device has the capability to support sample rates up to 96 kHz now, an Amp Out for direct connection to a guitar cabinet, an Fx / Thru mode switching function for recording a processed or clean signal, option for fixing on a stand or a strap, and a separate headphone output. The kit comes with wires for switching and software for a quick start.
