Oline was the biggest problem last season, the Cowboys addressed that in the draft very well and I got faith in the current RBs that we have to run the ball very well behind our new Oline with Beebe and Guyton, I’m not crying about not drafting a RB when the Oline was the main focus this offseason
Caelon Carson and Nathan Thomas were just amazing picks, Cowboys were patient and got amazing value. Both guys were 3rd-4th round players and both could make an immediate impact. I wouldn’t be shocked if we see Beebe, Bass, Hoffman and Thomas all competing at that center spot.
It wouldn't be crazy to see Richards and Thomas give Steele a lot of competition as well.
Thomas should stay at OT or guard. Beebe and Hoffman are your centers

I think something that most people are missing are how much Dallas values compensatory picks. I think it’s either June 1st or June 6th that the formula is calculated and I fully expect them to fill some of these holes like they’ve done for the past 7 or 8 years. Unfortunately all of the A-tier runningbacks are gone but this front office knows something we don’t. I wouldn’t be surprised if we sign a safety or DT and/or make a trade for a runningback in the next 2 months. One thing is certain, we aren’t done.

There IS so much uncertainty about these players. A lot of variables in college out of player control. Some guys just don't get a chance to shine. I like the UDFA part of this, get then on the phone, over to the star and SADDLE UP!! Here we go!

Great video! We picked some potentially valuable players for our team but we shall see. My question is with our running backs: Will we stick with what we got, or will they add another RB within the trade deadline, and who? I prefer it’s new talent to our team if any. I think Rolls Royce and Dowdle could shine behind our new lineup. I also very much think that Deuce Vaughn could be our very own Darren Sproles, because he is a diamond in the rough! Mark my words! We’ve learned in the past, that even a mediocre RB can shine behind a strong line, and going “all in” hopefully will show us that this season. We have the most underrated RB class this season. Being the underdogs,
I bet they’re hungry and will love it when they can rise to domination! We are still and will always be America’s team. Could this be the year? Fingers crossed.🤞

We rebuilt our Offensive Line drafting 3 OLinemen = no holes there and running game just got better
Got a Top DE and future starter who can stop the run
Got a Top 5 Guard who will be our Center in the 3rd who was projected in the 2nd
Got a Starting caliber LB and more depth
Got a freak of an athlete at CB and added more depth
Got more depth at WR
Got more depth at DT

For some reason, the cowboys enter every season with a star studded cast and cant even manage a single win in the playoffs.
I am so very pleased that the Cowboys have addressed their weaknesses from last year, establishing the run and stopping the run on defense. Our running backs will shine with the new powerful offensive line. This will allow the run / pass option to shine and the passing game will be unstoppable. Dak will have his best year. On defense, we will stop the run and pressure the QB on third and long. This will allow the corners and safeties to shut down their passing game and create turn overs. Grade A. Well done! @@jimkluska253 True, each team that defeated the Cowboys were able to run the ball against us. The better teams had better linemen on either or both sides of the ball. Green Bay ran all over us. They pushed or linemen around, our linebackers were out of position and our DB's were 20 yards from the line of scrimmage. I hope that this year's draft pays off. DC4L.
We "dominated" last year too. I had to hear on end how these guys were so great just to get minimal return during the season. We are surely the king of the off season.

Great video! Agreed, drafting a RB would have been great, but can't hate the guys the Cowboys drafted.
If things pan out like we hope. We'll be playing straight smash mouth football. With premium beef directly up the middle. Zero finesse like we were last year. That paired with Zeke is a deadly combination. We know Zeke is a sledge hammer. I can't invision team being able to cope with that tpye running gane for 4 quarters.
Big fan of this draft. Rebuild the O line and front 7 first then you add the skill positions. I give them an A. Go Cowboys.

I feel like Thomas might be a Steele replacement. Steele got better as the year went on, but he still never quite rounded into form. Thomas is an athletic dude that could play T in the NFL, and he has a mean streak in the run game.

I think Jerry is scared to draft a RB early bc bug contracts so I think next season I believe they will address it as long as our O line develops over this season & I believe LB, Edge & DT will be key positions next year but basically RB for offense next season

6:49 what the Cowboys are saying is that none of the running backs was worth a pick. Only 1 was selected in the 2nd round, 3 in the 3rd and the rest in the later rounds. My gut tells me they'll pick up one in free agency.

OK, this is where I would’ve been different. I would’ve made a couple trades and it would better players than with the Cowboys but I got first I would’ve traded out not just once in the first round but twice made the trade with Carolina on the top of the second round then I wanna trade my second round pick down to get to Washington to get there, the 67th in the third round and the 161 in the fourth round then at the one then on that at the 101 which I would I would’ve swap that with the 112 to 12 and swap from 174 to 148 then this would’ve been my draft

Jerry Jones is still the owner. Need a new owner. I have been a Cowboy fan since the 60s and they are in a 28 year drought of winning a Divisional Playoff game.
Everyone wanted them to hit home runs in the draft but the reality is they just needed to fill the gaps in and they did as good as you could ask for. We'll see what the RB situation ends up being.

Jets and Steelers took our guys and we gambled and lost Barton to Tampa. First round and top half of 2nd was one of the most predictable in recent years other than that Falcons pick. Adding depth with a dog linebacker that has a high iq not a reach. Focusing on building a line and linebacker depth to stop the run is more important then 1 runningback

I think all that Brooks talk was a smoke screen. I think they actually wanted Benson but he got snagged like 4 picks before we were on the clock and we had to piviot to Kneeland. All hope isnt lost. I think we need to hit up HOU and try to get Dameon Pierce and flip them one of our comp picks next year. He is buried on that depth chart now after they signed Mixon and is never going to see the field anymore barring any major injuries. So why not see if we can get him for a 6th or even a 5th round comp pick. That solves our RB issue for years to come. He would feast behind this newly Revamped Nasty OL we are about to have. He almost got 1000yards as a rookie a couple of years ago behind a Trash OL in HOU.

I see an issue with this kid already. The issue is what is innate with the good DB's. He doesn't get his around to find the ball. This is going to be a problem if they don't fix him soon. Every clip you showed was him fighting the receiver. In college that's ok, this NFL it will be a flag Everytime.
Dallas won 12 games three seasons straight. I think the best is behind them for a while. That 2024 schedule is looking brutal. I don't see the Cowboys doing much this season. 2025 team is going to be new names and faces.
