@adhumon55 The way it's going, the only thing clicking is the barrel of the gun Amorim plays russian roulette with. He has willingly walked into a SAW puzzle. The team is not good enough. His system is very different from anything united have played until now, so even the few players that are good enough are not good fits. He rushed to remove players from the squad (Rashford, Casemiro, Lindelof), making some enemies for himself from the get-go. If these players do not get sold in January, they will POISON the dressing room. All the layoffs INEOS are doing are also not helping the moral in the slightest.
Long story short, Amorim is about to get blown out of the water pretty soon.

I think the only reason he'd fail is because he chose Man Utd which sank TITANS of football management. I did not and do not expect any single manager to turn this around, the players outright refuse to play for certain managers and sabotage managers to get them sacked, there's little you can do in those circumstances... if they do like you it's because you don't push them and play the same core guys every night regardless of performance and in those conditions you will lose anyways, that was the case with Ole

@FutbolHistoria88 Amorim has been the first United coach since SAF that I am 100% sure will not even last more than 2 seasons.
      1. The system he uses has absolutely nothing special in it. Many managers implemented this 343 formation (Conte, Mourinho, Tuchel). It is statistically proven that the only philosophy that has longevity for the big teams is possession and attacking football.
      2. Even if Amorim finds a way to keep his tactics fresh and doesn't get found out, United have been re recruiting players for a 4231 formation for the last decade. There are about 5-6 players that Amorim can use. The rest are eighter not good enough or don't fit the system.
      3. A full squad clearout and buying of 10-15 new players is not possible for multiple reasons. The club is in a financial crisis, and neither INEOS nor the glazers are looking to invest millions upon millions into new players. They are looking to offload all the high earners and replace them with young up and commers to significantly lower the wage bill. Furthermore, there is pretty much no value in the squad. I can think of about 7-8 players who are actually sellable and not burdened by awful form and astronomical wages.
To sum it up, the club is in an awful financial state, the team has almost no value in it, the manager is a mismatch to what the club currently has as players and the owners are definitely more interested in fixing the financial issues and clearing certain players then in actually winning silverware. Amorim is doomed, and I'm pretty sure that by now, he already knows it. He is just sailing the ship and hoping to either get sacked at the end of the season and be compensated or survive long enough to get an extension (as his current deal is for just 2,5 years) and then be sacked. No improvement is on the cards for at least a few more seasons.

Amorim may be the best personality we have hired since Alex who went on to become Sir Alex but I just don't see it. The footballing philosophy is just wrong for an English club, MANCHESTER UNITED no less. We need WIDE PLAY and ATTACKING FREEDOM no matter the tactics... we also need no shits about football tactics tbh.. that's why OGS was perfect for us... United fans have forgotten the United identity themselves in their desperate hunt for success. I will always be a traditionalist.
I know 100% that thers a huge tragic story behind the fall of Rashford and he'll always have my sympathy... won't watch a United game until Jimmy Cliff leaves United. Cutting off the poor take the rich richer? Are you guys aware wats going on with the stewards and all the small and middle men at Old Trafford? It's DISGUSTING.

@techarch8851 I am not saying Amorim's tactics aren't gonna work. You misunderstand my point. I wouldn't allow Pep anywhere near my club. I am saying it's the club that's goto maintain the style of football which is it's identity. We can't just play in any style to win.
What makes us different from Chelsea and City? The fact that United are supposed to be associated with a BRAND of football. It's honestly unacceptable that a Rashford type player "doesn't suite" the system at Old Trafford.
Look at Liverpool, Klopp atleast made them play the way I have known Liverpool to even when they had garbage players 20-25 years ago. Always high intensity, fast counters, fast buildups, always threatening no matter the quality. Proper Liverpool identity since their 20th century days of dominance as much as I hate to admit it. They have been the true flag bearers of English football NOT city. United have to be playing with width, pace and power. That's our DNA as I explained in my main post.

The problem is Amorim doesn't like to adapt, he plays the same every time,
3-4-3/5-2-2-1 philosophy it's a strict system he needs players to adapt to him and it will mean selling and changing most of his squad
He won't be able to do that so he'll struggle after 2-3 seasons,
Liverpool looked at him before also, he was not chosen simply because he couldn't be flexible with other systems and had to have a 3 centre back system instead of a conventional common back 4 (2 cbs)
He's not a bad manager at all, he's had good shows/performances in European football but he's not flexible and not willing to adapt
A team = the whole board, ffp compliance flexible coach and the dressing room and fans
As united is quite a huge step up from sporting in terms of expectations and also the premier league being more intensive and players cost more to get here etc
He will have manager bounce early on Ten Hag did too but as he slowly gets his players since he has no plan B
    He'll slowly drop off
If he does start showing adaptability he could do good

I'm a villa fan, we don't have a nassive squad either, we have players from championship promotion era and the manager didn't force the tean to play his vision Emery. Instead he adapated to the players and we started from a 4-4-2 counter attack side, and evolve slowly as we get the technical ability players for his vision he wants us to play over time progressing. It's part of rebuilding process
I don't see Amorim a transitional manager as he's stuck to his vision and seems to not want to adapt to what he's players are good at
As opposition united is our boogie team they always beat or get points against us no matter how poor they play we just struggle so much haha
Good video though and yeah Amorin I felt took a job with a too high ask for him when he's still relatively new and needed to slowly work his way up
3-4-3 can work and has in the prem before but it does usually require a lot of depth and rebuilding and those managers had slowly adapted to it and were versatile to use the conventional method also

That’s not the main problem. United for a long time have not had a set defined identity since Sir Alex Ferguson and that’s what Amorim is doing it’s just that the system needs certain set players to execute it to a high level.
You are right on why Liverpool didn’t want him but our situation and Liverpool’s is different. Liverpool rejected him because he did not tactical suit the squad and type of style Liverpool want to play hence why they didn’t pick him. For United however we have had a shit playing style and identity for some time now and Ruben is here to fix that. Right now he is not changing the system a lot because the players haven’t even got the basic system and we all know what happened when Ten Hag compromised his short term results for Long term success. Personally, I think Ten Hag should have been sacked during the Summer and gotten Amorim and his players in but Ineos made terrible decisions.
I think the Manager is good but we have to be patient and see cause this season is already over we have had a terrible start to the season with Ten Hag and now Ruben Amorim came and inherited a Mess unlike Arne Slot. Who fit the exact from Manager for Liverpool he literally plays the same way as Klopp tactically.
If he switches up now we may climb the table abit but not fail the rebuild we need to remove the current crop of players and then get better ones

Portuguese league is not Premier league but portuguese coaches already proved are great liders in the Premier, just give Bruno what he wants and let him work. Everybody sees why Man Utd fails, is because of a lack of lidership and a bad squad. For gods sake this Man Utd central defenders wouldn't play in the top 3 portuguese teams at the moment, same for strikers.

Hope he gets demoted after he betrayed our club, from the fans, to players and management. Disgusting person with no character and his word is worth nothing, of course he had to be a Benfica supporter and a fanboy of a club known for their murders and corruption, then again fergie time was also full of it, so they are good for each other. Good luck in the championship, karma for treating Ronaldo like shit.
