Hi Wayne , I watch your videos with much interest especially the Bismarck and now the hachette titanic. I am glad I took your advice as it will not only protect the model from the floor lifting, the advantage is when you fit the two pieces together you can still move them a bit to get it exactly right. Thanks for the tip.
I finished my agora models t-800 and I’m considering doing this now too. I’ve been obsessed with the story of Titanic since I was young. I have the Lego titanic, so this would be cool to have as well
Just a thought - mainly for new modellers as you know what you're doing :) Screw partially into one part so you don't lose the screw [hopefully], marry the two parts together and complete attaching them. That way you can hold just the part instead of the part and the screw at the same time making it less fiddly.

Hi all, i emailed Agora about the Titanic and they told me because i was in England i would have to get it from Hachette, and they seem to be only supplying from No42 or so onward, any help anyone, thanks.
Thanks for uploading this. I would’ve absolutely loved to build this incredibly intricate Titanic model but I’m currently out of work, due to injury, so funds are too tight & I can’t sacrifice any needs or “wants.” I built the Orrery & Earth/Moon/Sun orbiter from Eaglemoss, a few years back. Your video has been an enjoyable torment, so far & I look forward to seeing it to completion. My hope is that I will get to do this one day. If you do get to build the Orrery, I’d hold out for one from a company that doesn’t use China to manufacture parts. The English company started out with brass parts, until a $$ issue resulted in using cheaper products (as per their letter, halfway through my subscription) I had screws that crumbled & I know brass isn’t magnetic but it worked out OK, except the 2nd orbiter. That was completed but due to design flaws & bent gears, it’s just an ornament that sadly never worked.

I almost skipped this because I thought it was the same build you already started a couple of months ago from a different publisher, how does that build compare in terms of size? 2. Hi Angela. Eaglemoss are bankrupt I am afraid. I don't even think the Titanic is continuing. We have all been left high and dry :( Saying that the Agora Models one is fine as is the Hachette one
@@WorldofWayneUK thank you for your response does the hatchette partworks build the titanic has it got the same parts as eaglemoss, with wooden frame and die-cast metal
I don't get why everybody is so hyped with this model. If you compare it too the Eaglemoss wooden ship maybe people prefer the Agora/Hachette one because it's metal and has moving part. And maybe because it's 1:200 scale instead of 1:250. But in terms of the building process the wooden one in my opinion is much more fun and worth your money. It asks a lot more skill to build than just clicking/screwing parts together. That brings a question to mind: do you buy a model for the end result or for (the fun in) building process.... for me it's definitly the last one!
The hype is because it is more easily built. I.e. screws and glue for metal and plastic and not a wooden model which many are unable or unwilling to build.
This world is topsy turvy, Diecast Collections bring out a wooden version of the Titanic while Agora Models bring out a diecast metal version of the same ship. It'll be interesting to see which one looks better when they're finished.

Agora are distributing this in North America
I am confused, is that a new model that you are assembling? There were already videos about other Titanic model build on you channel.
Yep. This is a different model
@@WorldofWayneUK yep, saw it in WhSmith and thought that was not the one you were assembling before. It is obviously this new one 👍
Good morning Wayne looks a lovely model, please when you go to Hornby models factory please could you ask them if they would consider building the American Big Boy two tenders train used in the 1950s America it’s a lovely train Wayne.
Speaking of ships…. Any idea when the rigging video for Bischmark will be released?
Shhhh! Do NOT speak of it again! 🤣🤣🤣
No yet lol
@@mikehipperson lol
Hey buddy…. I’m going to start my Titanic build…. Is there a promo code for it or no? Thanks in advance
Indint have one. Sorry
I just read that you get a promo code at the 12th pack of an Agora build, which is used to start the next model.
I’m confused because one model maker building the Hachette model said the hull is plastic and you say its metal. Also are you getting your model sent from America.
The hull is definitely metal. Yes from America
@@WorldofWayneUK Sorry Wayne I realise that it was insulting of me to suggest that you could be wrong about it being metal. I apologise for that. I wish I was half as good as you at making models.
Going to be interesting to see the difference between this model and the other one. Is each model the same size or is one larger then the other.
They are exactly the same
I’ve doing the Titanic Issue no.12 for moments by Hachette Partworks that’s great it 😊
'.... like a jigsaw puzzle piece...' *note to self* Wayne uses a screwdriver for jigsaws.. that explains a lot! ;)
I thought you will do only one from wood
Nope
Why did you choose Agora and not Hachette? Just wondering as it will help me choose. :)
They are the same model. Agora just distribute the Hachette one in the US.
Is this shit CANCELLED or is it safe from Eaglemoss going under? I've had an unfinished 1:350 since like 2008 and I was on the verge of giving up on it and doing this instead.
This is very much alive
@@WorldofWayneUK cheers for that, I have to plead ignorance on which company makes which kit. I think my Dacia 1300 is Eaglemoss, so I sort of assumed this was too hah.
I have a serious doubt... why u dip screws in oil
Helps drive them in as they are cutting threads some of them
two things, witch do you think you'll like building more the wood or metal Titanic?
have a safe trip Sir hope you cross the pond safe and sound.
I love the wood one but the dynamic features on this are awesome
Don’t forget to paint the Break water white?
Don’t need to they are replacing it
It looks really plastic rather than metal - is that true?
Mmm. It looks that way on camera. Not so much in real life
Hi Wayne, I didn't think you was doing this build.
Did I dream that you said you was only going to do the wooden Titanic 🤔 ?
cant find the titanic build buddy
It's only available in the US and Canada
my news agent/post office already has issue one in.
Sorry It has been a while
This is angela moore not got any response from the eaglemoss team, or the email address you gave out for getting the parts of RMS TITANIC MAGAZINE ISSUES .
Do you know anymore information on this
I await your reply.
@@angelamoore8685 No they are metal
Ah. The Reciprocating Engines. Neat.
Issue 13 do not use parts 13E and 13G the model manufacturers hav done them in the wrong colour thankfully this is resolved in issue21
Where is your millennium falcon build and do you have a millennium falcon build
ruclips.net/video/TC0XOsem-lU/видео.html&ab_channel=WorldofWayne
Errrrrrm Re the replacement parts, if they are the same, apart form the colour, why not just re-paint them?
I’m curious, did you get the free gifts that agora said will come with the model this pack?
No
@@WorldofWayneUK any idea when we should be getting them?
@@gamingwithjacobi8757 not at this time
@@WorldofWayneUK I see, I’m excited to get working on this model and for the pocket watch, it looks beautiful
@@gamingwithjacobi8757 Does the pocket actually work and kep time like a real pocket watch?
I don't get why everybody is so hyped with this model. If you compare it too the Eaglemoss wooden ship maybe people prefer the Agora/Hachette one because it's metal and has moving part. And maybe because it's 1:200 scale instead of 1:250. But in terms of the building process the wooden one in my opinion is much more fun and worth your money. It asks a lot more skill to build than just clicking/screwing parts together.
That brings a question to mind: do you buy a model for the end result or for (the fun in) building process.... for me it's definitly the last one!
Damn good question that
The hype is because it is more easily built.
I.e. screws and glue for metal and plastic and not a wooden model which many are unable or unwilling to build.
Hola buenas noche recien termino el fasiculo n1
This world is topsy turvy, Diecast Collections bring out a wooden version of the Titanic while Agora Models bring out a diecast metal version of the same ship.
It'll be interesting to see which one looks better when they're finished.
Why u showing pack 1 again u should be on pack 5 or so?
Different model
Can this sink? If it can, Can you please do a showcase of it sinking?
😂 oh it will sink like a lead balloon
@@WorldofWayneUK So it sinks? Or will it break and damage the batteries and all that if it sinks.
I don t understand.. in the video you said those parts are metal. On my model they re plastic ...even the anchor is plastic.
It a mixture. The main hull is metal
@@WorldofWayneUK Thanks for your answer, sir!
I m talking about the 3 pieces you fix before the ''monopoly house''
In your video those 3 pieces look like metal.. and you said that there s metal.
In my model... from the moment I touched them.. it s plastic...yours look shiny.. mines are plastic.. simple gray plastic.
I was so dissapointed descovering this :(.
The hull is indeed metal on mine too.
Oh... I watched more carefully. they re the same. So they re basically plastic. Thank you again for the answer... I m building my model using your videos... and I really appreciate everything u do for us, sir! Have a nice day!
That adhesive backing paper isn,t very strong i use White Brian Clegg PVA glue. +when the4clamps are on if you use som cocktail sticks that will get rid of any excess White PVA poking out of the plastic locating holes abit like wallpaper paste💁♂️
Im also thinking that the detail pieces that snap in will hold the wood down as well? Thoughts?
@@pattersonmichael Sadly1or2of the plastic pieces hav broken because of the very thin pegs
