I store my landing net, on the hoop edge so it's standing up vertical and not laying down flat, behind my "captains" pedestal seat in my Alumacraft tiller boat. Like you I keep the handle extended and ready. I store it like this as it's out of the way yet I can reach down and grab the net handle and pull it out from behind the seat. But then I'm one of those with a cluttered boat. lol Good tips, Ben.
Awesome tips as usual dude! One thing, switch out that conservation series bag with a power catch bag. Both Matt Ridgway and I had one bite through the original bag last fall.
Great video! I got my big musky last year fishing solo, and netting it was the toughest part. It took 3 tries. Thank goodness for it was hooked well. I was also thankful I had laid out my hook cutters and other tools within reach. Good tips, thanks!
