Really puts things into perspective. In JJK all the magic seems really unique and interesting but take them out of that box and everyone becomes a one-trick pony. DB gets criticized for having all the fights feel the same but there is really much more variety than people give it credit for.

Jiren is just a buff alien Krillin who had a mid-ass backstory (in the anime, he actually had better motives story wise in the manga) who trained so hard and mastered Ki to the point where he could contend with MUI Goku.
I imagine he would just annoy people by starting fights, and then just activate his limitless, laughing like a cocky brat that isn’t able to do anything.

Normally Vegito could bypass Infinity with his far superior amount of ki, and speed, but Buuhan would boost that power to insane levels. That's also without Buuhan fusing his matter manipulation magic with limitless spacial manipulation.

Either it takes concentration or not good for battle since he barely ever uses it in combat against stronger opponents like Toji or Sukana. It also seems he needs to do a hand sign to do it. It also seems like he has a range limit of a few meters since he does it by removing the space between himself and the spot so he has a limit and the longer the distance the longer it takes and it probably only reaches a certain limit

Here's another question though, would Guildos, Friezas, and cells Telekinetic abilities just bypass infinity? Because if we look at how Frieza killed Krillin it looked like he blew him up from the inside out rather than attacking him externally.
You have a good point. Also, I think we have some considerations for Ki attacks that have no travel time. Would those attacks bypass infinity?? Since they will just happen. Like Vegeta's finger explosion or Goku's "eyes punch". They might be weak by DBZ standards, but for a weaker character they could be fatal.
Goku also attacked through the air, it's how he beat ChiChi that one time. Would fast air be filtered by Limitless?
@@georgekatkus5162 basically limitless can filter out anything that Gojo wants, but if it's a tricky like a destructive air attack Gojo has to be able to perceive it as an attack first, which his six eyes would probably be able to do. The only problem though would also fall in perception, because if it's too fast Gojo wouldn't be able to perceive the air attack.
Tldr, Gojo needs air, but if the air is used to attack him he has to perceive it first to filter it with infinity.

@@georgekatkus5162 yes, gojo just filters things that he wants to get in, like sunlight oxygen etc that he needs to survive and he can change those parameters. by default if limitless is active there is basically an infinite space to cover to reach gojo, so nothing should be able to go through, he basically brings the concept of infinity in real life.

Says who? Limitless is the constant and infinite division of anything approaching Gojo, over and over again infinitely, no matter how fast you're going, unless you're legitimately infinite speed you can't bypass infinity that way.
Unless you can travel a finite distance infinitely, or an infinite distance in a finite amount of time, you can't bypass infinity through sheer speed, and no teleportation doesn't count.

Don't forget Jiren had a shield around him similar to Gojo's, if we consider how much stronger Jiren is than him, and how his shield was broken by fast and strong enough attacks, it means someone with a power relative to Gojo and fast enough attacks would get trough infinity, a few characters also managed to get around Hit's time-skip, another time altering technique.
Sorry for Gojo but his stopping point would be Roshi, or at best King Piccolo.

no, gojo's ability isn't a shield even though it shields him from whatever he choose not to come near him. gojo brings the concept of infinity to the real world. any attack after crossing a certain area will start slowing down since the closer they get to gojo the more distance they need to travel, going from a lot of distance up to infinite distance, which is why it appears things have stopped after they get to a certain point. the only ways to go through infinity is with something that cancels/disregards his cursed technique, like domain amplification or special cursed tools or some sort of hax that disregards the concept of space, like the world cleave or like lille barros ability from bleach.
Only hax can kill Gojo. Fortunately, Dragon ball has PLENTY of hax 😂
If we got into more fanfiction-y shenanigans when applying characterization/story implementation, then considering how often characters are called fighting geniuses or explain the weaknesses of abilities/techniques even Gojo would get a massive power amp while the other rip him off like they did Tien
So in a funny way, if the story leans on DB, then Roshi could use Gojo as an example of a “conceited” strongest or leaving things up to him after reading his mind upon breaching Infinity

since Infinity only slow attacks down, it can't push things around, doesn't that mean that any ki attack that can cover his body is essentially a win? (attack that are already stronger than purple)
Since the Ki would envelop Gojo, and although it wouldn't hit him, he wouldn't be able to move aswell, since it would require him to 'remove' the Ki out of his way, and going through it isn't feasible. He can't just push a moon destroying level attack like he did with knives or someone weaker than him.
Teoretically, the attack would indefinitely be slowed down until Gojo released it (and died), and since it's being infinitely slowed, it wouldn't dissipate by itself either.

Actually in a way, infinity does push back on things to prevent them from reaching Gojo, you can see this with how he kills Hanami, by crushing it with infinity up against a wall.

15:30 It can, teleport into somebody, you can teleport already touching your target, so his power would not work because how you will repel, something that is already there, with this they can put a ki atack on their hands, teleport to Gojo Sholder and Blow up him
You'd have to be able to teleport over an infinite distance then, Goku's instant transmission has explicit limits, it can only teleport Goku as far as he can sense Ki, if he can sense ki over an infinite distance, then he could probably do that, but Goku's limits have been made somewhat clear when it comes to IT, he can't teleport over an infinite distance.
That idea could work with the kaikai though, if it functions differently to instant transmission, I'm not sure how that one works.

It’s funny how quickly this becomes finding the limits of “limitless”, because against more conventional attacks it remains useful even into Super and beyond.
No it doesnt. If Gojos limitless was as strong as its depicted, he wouldnt be struggling with anyone or anything. Comparing the strongest in JJK to the strongest in DBZ is like dropped a 5 pound rock on a wet paper towel and expecting the paper towel to able to hold the rock. Limitless is bypassed by sheer speed and power. JJK characters just simply cant reach those levels, so it makes limitless look unbeatable.

The thing about Domain expansion is that the second Gojo finishes the incantation, the auto hit attack is IMMEDIATELY put into affect regardless of whether the barrier has fully enclosed or not. It’s actually shown in the Shibuya incident when he fights the disaster curses.

And if the pole was moved away from Gojo's barrier after having lingered inside the limitless extended space, would the extended power pole suddenly appear to show how long it extended by having the rest of its visible length "pop" into view or would the extended power pole appear the same length it would appear if goku extended the pole only far enough to reach gojo if he didn't have limitless? Or would the pole break if goku tried to move it to the right or left away from gojo after extending it into the limitless space barrier?
The power pole has unlimited extension length iirc so it could infinitely extend into Gojo's space even if it never touches Gojo. It becomes an interaction between an immovable object and unstoppable force, the two cancel each other out. My curiosity is purely in how it would look to see goku extend the pole into Gojos barrer and then move the pole left or right while it's still extending, away from Gojo's barrier and observing the resulting unique interaction between an infinitely extending object exiting a localized infinite space and into a finite space

there is a point to be made for ki barriers acting similarly to domains as domains expansions are just a barriers filled with the user's cursed energy/technique so they might be able to counter the sure hit affect that way same with infinity

I think if Gojo existed in the DB universe, Cell would be able to have his powers. Why? Gero's drones got DNA samples from almost everyone, which they would be able to get because Gojo won't always be using Infinite. Then when Cell comes around, he'd not only have everyone else's techniques and powers, he'd have Gojo's Domain and other abilities. Cell would be unstoppable here with all his DNA sources and Gojo's Domain.

Even if Cell had Toji's DNA, the heavenly restriction wouldn't transfer because it's applied to the soul and it doesn't change the DNA by itself. 👍

Ok, so, funny thing about the Body Change is that it seems to actually straight up paralyze the person it is currently being used on, exemplified by the fact that no one ever tries to, or is portrayed as even being able to attempt to, dodge the attack once it's started. It's not instantaneous, we know it can be interrupted by something getting in its way, but it's apparently impossible to get out of the attack once you've been caught in it.
Which leaves the possibility that if it IS slowed down to the point looks like it has stopped by Gojo's defensive infinity, it might very well result in a situation where Gojo is locked in place unable to move or do anything as well, because the attack is still keeping him paralyzed in place waiting for the beam to land so their souls can exchange.
Or maybe it'd just keep them locked in place until someone threw another living being into the path of the beam for Ginyu to swap with.
Also the fact that perception is insanely accelerated with ki might also screw with the domain expansion thing in possibly several ways. Characters in DragonBall are able to react to things happening around them at faster than light speeds, with reaction times that border on the absurd and start getting into scientific notation amount of zeros after the comma. For example, during the Namek saga, Goku can react to blasts shot by Freeza after they've been launched, those same blasts were so fast that only post-Zenkai Vegeta could see them. I wonder if the fact that they perceive so much faster would actually weaken or empower the domain - if it's basically overloading someone with information, would having faster processing make you last longer or be outright able to break the effect entirely, or would the faster perception just make your brain get fried faster?
Similarly, even all the way back to the first tournament, Jackie Chun and Krillin have an entire fight complete with several moves that all happens so fast not a single movement is perceived, not even as a blur, by anyone in the audience, and the only thing anyone sees is Krillin falling to the ground after a few moments, but for Jackie Chun and Krillin, it all looks like it's happening at normal speed, suggesting that their perception is accelerated so much that they can see all of that and react to it in real time.

What I hate about everyone say that “they can’t touch gojo” is the fact that they throw application speed completely out the door.
Example, if limitless can apply fast enough that it stops someone so fast that gojo can’t even perceive them (shown by everyone beyond raditz) then what dictates the application speed if it’s not gojo? If it’s dictated on its own, then infinity EXTENSION should mean instant death and he wouldn’t need blue, red, or purple anyway since it’s pointless waste of energy. Since it doesn’t work that way, that mean it’s dictated by gojo and lots of things would EASILY bypass it.
Air reaches him so just the shockwave of anyone’s attack should kill by the time they reach nappa (being like 3 arcs of generous here). Not to mean the attacks that are send within others. Think of frieza killing krillin. Everyone there already knew what was going on and told frieza to stop. It’s a simple technique to them but likely only on MUCH weaker enemies. Like gojo compared to Raditz at best.
the neutral version of limitless is always active since he learned rct in the flashback arc. gojo has white listed things to pass through infinity based on what is harmful or harmless to him. neutral limitless works by making things traveling to gojo have to cross more and more distance the closer they get to him, up to the point where u would have to cross infinite distance to get to him (which is impossible). the shockwave would def not reach gojo but something that disregards the concept of space will, maybe something like frieza's telekinesis if that ability doesn't require frieza's ki to touch gojo and just uses his mind to do it.
Gojo's six eyes give him superhuman perception, and processing abilities, his limitless automatically filters out threats from other things, which is why air, light, and sound can pass through freely even when it's constantly active.

I wonder if Gojo would be able to train ki, or train his regular abilities in DB, or if ki would increase his abilities though, since that's what happens in DB. So maybe he could get stronger too, and if so, how much, and how quickly?

Gojo's mugen has many other weakness that the author didn't talk about. It just slow down atacks, being it physical, being it by cursed energy. Gojo never showed being able to slow anything else, he doesn't slow the light, he doesn't slow the air, he doesn't slow vibration, he doesn't slow heat. Basically speaking, a Kamehameha would defeat him because of the heat (and yeah, there is heat, you can notice that some times we can see and hear heat when a char tanks a ki atack).

Gojo's limitless is a white listing effect it doesn't let anything in unless Gojo allows it after the fact. That's why air, and light goes through because Gojo's allows it because he knows it's generally not harmful to him. But if it's Kamehameha he's not gonna let it through

The fact that Gojo tanks several attacks from Jogo, a curse who shoots literal fire, fire that burns, and as such produces heat, proves that infinity can in fact slow down heat. As for light and air, I’m pretty sure infinity doesn’t slow these down not because it can’t, but because doing so would kill Gojo, as he can’t exist without air and slowing down light renders him blind.

If you’re referring to the “Goku flew around Namek in an instant” feat, it’s pretty massive wank and it’s contradicted by a multitude of things supporting Goku being a finite speed (including Goku stating in that scene that everyone’s nearby, and plenty of finite speed “anti-feats” throughout the rest of Z), so it wasn’t worth including here. If we wanted to wank though, then yea 🗿
@@TheSaladBar nah its a different scale, the universe has statements of being infinite in size a few times in the daizenshuu, and frieza has many statements of being able to destroy it. This would mean that frieza is a high universal (and the statements were in reference to 2nd form frieza who has a power lvl of 1 million), meaning that anyone above that (base vegeta and goku post zenkai) are also at that lvl. Being that their attacks can destroy infinite constucts, their attacks should also be able to bypass infinity. This is also supported by the fact that the spirit bomb which gathers energy from the entire universe (which again is infinite) should also have infinite energy which frieza tanked. Just their attack potency is enough. If you wanna go into speed, vegeta states that power and speed grow together (with some characters like burter and dyspo specializing in certain stats), but this doesn't change the fact that a relation exists between the 2. We know that this proportion is indeed finite because around the time that characters still had finite power, their speed was also finite. This would mean that if a character's power is infinite, their level of speed should also be infinite. This is even more supported by the fact that toriyama states that in later sagas (in reference to the namek saga), super saiyan multipliers cant be numerically measured, which is just more implication that characters of this tier are above infinite. There are also other statements and feats such as cell having infinite power, goku being able to run across hell which is infinite, etc.

Honestly I’m not looking to get into a discussion about why this is wank since it’s a bit off-topic (and a bit subjective), just explaining why I didn’t include the wank in the video. As for the anti-feats, they’re not necessarily “anti-feats” in the sense that the characters are slow, just multiple examples of characters doing things at a finite speed which contradicts the idea that they’re infinite speed. Perfect example: Kid Buu taking time to destroy hundreds of planets in a galaxy. Kid Buu is completely uninhibited, yet he took a finite amount of time to destroy it. Theres a couple of other examples (including up to the Granolah arc, such as Gas taking time to cross a finite amount of the universe) but I plan on making a vid about it anyway.
But yea like I said, I know the arguments for the scaling but consider it wank and not objective, so I don’t feel the need to debate something I agree with in a way🗿

You brought it up with Guldo and Babidi but did you forget Blue and Chaotzu's psychic powers?
Blue's work by locking eyes with someone, Chaotzu's by extending his hands, and both seem pretty instantaneous.
That said, Blue's paralyzing gaze doesn't work on Tao (anime only) so it might not work on him and Chaotzu's isn't as effective as outright paralysis as it causes crippling pain instead and may have limited effectiveness, as with Nappa who seemed more annoyed by it, but I think both would bypass limitless.
