Both of you are right she has a right to her feelings and he has a right to how he feels. Now children should be left alone till they are old enough as an adult to make that kind of decisions
It's not her feelings that Candace is referring to. When she emphasizes that a girl cannot turn into a boy or a boy cannot turn into a girl -- that that idea is mental illness -- since the boy will obviously never be able to give birth, showing that he can't actually become a woman, that's not her personal feelings that Candace is expressing, that's just the facts of biology and nature.
@@mariemaglione4079 I was referring to the part where you mentioned "she has the right to her feelings," it doesn't appear like what Candace is talking about is so much about personal feelings as it is about pure facts of nature and biology.
@@FrDanielMaria it is what she believes adults can believe what they want he believe different and it is ok as long as they don’t harm children when they are adults they can come to their own conclusions
@@mariemaglione4079 Hi Marie, that seems to be our disagreement: it is not what she believes (as if this was some subjective, relativistic opinion on her part) but it is a universal fact of biology and natural law: as Candace specified, a boy will never actually be a girl because he won't ever be able to give birth, thus be a real woman. This isn't her personal belief or feeling that differs from Don Lemon. This is a universal fact of biology and nature. I wish you all the best!
Blessings! She was asked a direct question and responded directly. That's not judgmentalism, that's honesty. Judgmentalism as portrayed in the Gospels, usually by Pharisees, is a self-righteous posturing while looking down at the other as if they're lesser. The Church (nor Candice in this clip) doesn't teach that, making a distinction between identity and activity. Each soul is a creature of God made in His divine image, even those who struggle with same sex attraction, but we do not want to endorse sinful lifestyles (activities) that will hurt their spiritual and moral flourishing. Jesus saved the woman from being stoned against the Pharisees who judged her, but He still said in the end, "Now go and sin no more." If you love someone you will want them to live in virtue, that's not judgmentalism, it's loving them and their soul. God bless you!
@@pj87iam it doesn't matter whether to others it ain't. It matters that to God and His law it is. Sin isn't about human subjectivity but the universal standards of natural law. Thank you for your comment, though. God bless you

You said, "...so often Catholics and Christians....." (8:50) Do you thereby admit that there is a clear difference between Catholics and Christians, and that Catholics are therefore not Christian? Interesting...
Don't be silly, regarding "Catholics are therefore not Christian." The distinction that I was making is between the Church founded by Jesus Christ and His Apostles -- the Catholic Church in direct lineage is able to trace all her popes back to the first, Peter, "the rock on which I will build My Church" (Matt 16:18) -- and upholds the original teachings of Christ, such as on the Eucharist, "This is my body" (Matt 26:26-29) -- and, on the other hand, the sects that emerged in the 16th Century that abandoned so many of the sacred teachings of Christ in the Protestant rebellion, "Many disciples turned back and no longer followed Him" (John 6:66) because of His teaching on His presence in the Eucharist. The early Church Fathers, from Justyn Martyr to Ambrose, Augustine, John Chrysostom and others acknowledge Catholic practices like the Mass and the Eucharist, and Ignatius of Antioch (c. 50) was the first Father to use the word "Catholic" in reference to the Church (Letter to the Smyrnaeans). The fact that the latter heretical sects came along in the 16th Century, breaking the lineage of Christ's Church and so many sacred teachings, is sad, to say the least. But its become a common moniker to refer to the sects of the 16th Century under the moniker of "Christian" or at least Protestant Christians whereas referring to Christ's original Church as "Catholic" or Catholic Christians; so, that's the distinction that I was making -- between the Church founded by Christ and His Apostles, the sacred practices and beliefs even present in the writings of the early Fathers, versus the 16th century sects that abolished many of these sacred traditions with unfortunate heresies. Thank you for the question. God bless you, brother!
@@FrDanielMaria Sorry, but in order to be "Christian", Christ is, and must be the centre of, and the ONLY "way", one believes in! Christ/Christian = Christ above all! I'll try to spell it out to you my friend, the Catholic official doctrines, goes against that principle!!!!! The apostels and the Biblical new Testament, is well clear on this simple principle, that it is Christ, and only Christ, that stand between a human and Hell! No works, so one may boost, no in between heaven and hell, as Christ paid for our sins in FULL, no Mary or so-called saint, as there is only one way and that is Christ!!! So, I'm sorry to say, strictly measured by the yardstick of the Gospels and the complete new testament, Catholicism is not Christianity!!! My Christ be with you, and save your soul, I pray...
@@FrDanielMaria Ok, let this be well understood and not disputed: The Protestant movement, came out of the original church, and is therefor part of that "original" church! It is and was NEVER a separate movement! Thus, Protestantism traces its roots back to the original Church, build on the "Rock" of Jesus Christ, not on a human man called Simon Peter! Perceptions are important, you called the protestant movement a rebellion, yet history, easily ignored just in order to "win" arguments, proofs otherwise!! It was never the intention of the monks and priests of the "Catholic" church, to split from that church! NEVER!!! They were forced out of the Catholic church, by the church leaders, even persecuted, and MURDERED, for suggesting the church has "wondered off" and should return to it's roots, with the scriptures as it's only guide! Never ever forget, or excuse the FACT that the Catholic church and it's leaders, thought it to be ok to KILL those who's only point was that the church has strayed and should return to it's original doctrines! That in it self is scandalous to say the least! In fact I'll call it barbarous and Satanic!! Even people, not catholic by the way, who thought it best to print and translate and print the Bible, was persecuted and killed, while all they wanted to do, was to make the Word of God available for all people to read. Why do you think this was done? By this, I mean killing people that wanted to spread the Bible. Do you perhaps consider that "the leaders" of the catholic church new, that as more and more people read the Bible for themselves, they will discover the nonsense the Catholic church preached and move away from it? One cannot read the Bible, think for one self, and do anything other than dispose of Catholic doctrines! I know if one has been brought up in the Catholic believe system, this can be tough, but it is never the less necessary!
@pauldbeer Blessings, Paul! First, don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for my Protestant brothers and sisters; much better than the demonic secularism that the world offers. I was just harshly honest in my response because I thought you're proclamation "Catholics are not Christians" was arrogant. But, the truth is, there are SO MANY MISUNDERSTANDINGS and MISREPRESENTSTIONS that Protestants have about Catholicism. For example, you just mentioned to me that Christ is THE ONLY WAY. The very fact that you mentioned it presumes that you think Catholic doctrine teaches something else. Therefore, it may surprise you (and, maybe pleasantly so) but Catholicism teaches the same Theology that the Redemption of Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. However, as you mentioned the Blessed Virgin Mary ("All generations will call me blessed" Luke 1:48) and the saints, we believe that her prayers and the prayers of the saints, as our friends who pray for us in heaven, interceding, can have efficacy before the throne of God. It means that Christ is STILL the ONE REDEEMER because only His sacrifice could redeem us, and it means that He is the source of all grace (not the Blessed Virgin or the saints) but, as as were able to ask our friends who are close to God to pray for us, we're also able to ask our friends who are in Heaven and close to God to pray for us, as an act of intercession, NOT REDEMPTION (which is ONLY CHRIST'S), mediating between God and man. Part of it is also part of the Davidic Queenshio tradition. In the Old Testament, it is the mother that is the Queen, not the wife. The Way that Bethsheba brings the intentions of the people before her son Solomon, Mary as Queen Mother would have a privileged relationship with Christ to bring the intentions of the people before Him, the One Redeemer, this is in line with the Jewish Biblical tradition. I hope that clarifies. Also, I'm sorry, you can make a lot of creative arguments for the 16th century protestant denominations as being the "original" church, but one of the most central teachings of Jesus, the Eucharist ("this is my body") those sects have abolished, and that is just a sad heresy. Nevertheless, I do respect the immense love for Christ and the Bible and prayer that many Protestant brethren have, therefore know I speak with you with respect. God bless you, brother.
Candace is before here time, the only person I fear is God. Everything is a mental disorder, no matter how we try to dress it up. This guy needs to do the work, what he’s saying is not true. Religion has nothing to do with anything, God didn’t die to teach me religion but to follow him which is the road less traveled. ❤
Jesus reaffirms that marriage is between a man and a woman, and that it is a lifetime commitment (Matt. 19:1-12). Note that Jesus relaxed the Jewish disciplines regarding unclean foods (Mark 7:14-19) yet never relaxed the Jewish teachings against same-sex relations, let alone redefined marriage. Marriage is the relationship in which a man and a woman become one in a lifetime commitment. That is why their becoming conjugally-and complementarily-one is called “the marital act.” In contrast, the absence of complementarity in a same-sex couple is self-evident, beginning with their futile attempts at conjugal communion (CCC 2357-59). In short, with a same-sex couple, the two necessarily cannot become one, and therefore their sexual expressions are necessarily not love-giving (unitive), let alone life-giving (procreative). Nor would they make fit adoptive parents, even though they can certainly love children as a relative or family friend. But a sterile married couple would make fit parents, given that the wife can complementarily fulfill the role of mother and her husband the role of father.
Yes, and many old testament verses as well. There is a modern tendency, by many Satan driven people, to say that there is no Biblical claims that same-sex relation (sexual) is sinful. Yet it is not even suggested but spelled out to be a sin and an evil thing to do, and that God is disgusted by it, yet, people claiming to be Christian persist that the Bible in no way claims that it is sin! It sickens me to see how this world has degenerated in to the ways of Sodom and Gomora! Satan is all around and hard at work, and many will go to him, but narrow is the road to God, and but few will choose to walk on it....
We need more, much more, priests to tell the truth. The problem is - it is the bishops who are licking the boots of the Democrats, who are shutting down the priests. Exhibit 1 Fr James Altman. That's something I've noticed with a lot of Americans. They seem to have this weird idea that Catholicism and Christianity are two separate religions. Catholicism is a Christian denomination, just like Anglican, Protestant, and so many others that have some differences in doctrine.
So he brings up the Bible and then says he doesn’t want to get into the specifics of the Bible. 🤔 He didn’t want to because he can’t. The Bible speaks to God’s people not marrying unbelievers which is not based on race. What is Catholicism and why is it separated from Christianity as if it’s a higher level of Christianity? It’s not. Catholicism practices aligns more so with the Pharisees and Saducees that Jesus contended with and was against.
He's not very bright is he. He says 'I'm not going to get into the specifics of the Bible'... because he can't. He is not theologian, nor a Biblical scholar, nor a moral philosopher. Just a c-date celebrity tv host.

@@FrDanielMaria that was about children children need to get older before they make choices that change their lives forever

Let me blunt too….if God is the only one who should judge….why are you people judging gay or trans people?

23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
28 That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.
29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
30 Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the Lord your God.

That’s all true. But when one continually disregards the teachings of the Bible and chooses to live in a homosexual lifestyle, they are turning their back on God and heaven. The unjust will not inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corr 6:9-11. The unrepentant all face this judgment from God.

You said, "...so often Catholics and Christians....." (8:50)
Do you thereby admit that there is a clear difference between Catholics and Christians, and that Catholics are therefore not Christian?

Romans 1:26-27 Timothy 1:9-10 and 1Corinthians 6:9 is a clear statement that homosexuality is a Sin!
