What's your opinion of the kerb appeal of exterior cladding versus brick or do you like a combination of both ?
We think anywhere, where you can add a change in materials keeps it visually interesting, so we tend to prefer a combinations of both if the whole house can't be fully clad ( e.f. if the cladding is more expensive than using brick on its own).
A standalone house can be a single material but a whole development benefits from having a mix of materials and styles.
