- Just a week out from the 2020 series, take an inside look into the behind the scenes of NSW's 2019 campaign. Follow the drama, laughs, and mateship that eventually leads to our back to back series wins against QLD.
I love this side and I am a passionate New South Welshman. Being 24 years old it was tough growing up watching QLD dominate every year.
On the back of Freddy's (and his staff) Master stroke they have created a system and a team that everyone can get behind. Well done boys.

I remember when nsw won in 2018-19 & they were getting cocky saying nsw dynasty & even making this doco .... #2inarow 🤣 You'd think QLD would've made one with the 8 straight, but we ain't cocky & full of ourselves. Anyways goodluck tomorrow night! ....

I would like to say as a Qlder, it is important to keep a strong competition to showcase all elite players regardless of the winner. On paper so many times it appears NSW should have the edge, but as history has shown some Qld players lift to another level way beyond weekly club games allowing Qld to have a synergy to their team, enough to match the opposition. So, may the best team win in 2021, and do so in a way that we do not need to be overly critical of the match officials instructed to continue the head injury agenda.

2021 was a series to forget! But what you said, we did in 2022. Let's hope they do it again this series. Go qld. The origin story is all about our state, after all. It's our shield that only temporarily goes on holiday south of the border heheh

Well we didn’t quite get the three-peat but I’m still behind Brad Fittler and the boys. We’ve won two out of the last 3 series after winning one out of 12 before that. I think NSW will come back hard this year and will beat Queensland. Really want a 3-0 series but 2-1 will do.

It was well deserved. I only wish we were beaten by a team with humility and not a bunch of arrogant, cocky kids, still yet to change. Very unlikable personalities in that side, in my not so humble opinion

And does it really matter its just a game of football who cares if they made a documentary about it NSW will have there time to shine QLD have had a good run but blues will find there spot light and good on them happy to see they have given QLD a bit of competition in the passed 2 years and I hope they keep it up i love seeing it down to the final game cause it really don't matter about who wins they both play great games it's just who can stick it out the longest but QLD have had it over us for years but my blues are coming back to fight
I appreciate your impartiality on this but it’s just not a true assessment. The reality is there was a number contentious calls certainly in 2018 where if you altered the scores based on said bad calls, Qld wins each series. The refs have been governing each state with a very different set of rules and it’s been of benefit to nsw. In games where the refs put the whistle away it’s almost always been of benefit to Qld even with the supposed superior strike of nsw. The disparity in the how much the media talk up the nsw prospects vs the Queensland ones is ridiculous and it all goes back to what happened in those games.
