I misspoke at the beginning of this video. Dummy load gets plugged in before plugging it in the the current limiter.

From 8:00 you put in a mountain of work which i wish was not dashed but walked through. Anyhow, what you did share is much appreciated.

I totally understand but, my videos are more about showing things I’m working on and not teaching people how to do the work. With amplifiers especially, it is dangerous if someone doesn’t really understand the risks. Thank you for taking time to comment.

@@bbmade thank you for your concern. I'm graduating from making amps from scratch- bespoke chassis, et al and am taking on repairs. Thanks for explaining your niche.

Great video. I have one of the Black Magic tube boards on order to upgrade the factory board in my Blues Junior III.
The board is a bargain and looks really good. I've already done all the other mods. Recap filter caps with F&T, Tone stack, N1007 diode upgrade in rectifier, Switchcraft L12 input jack, adjustable bias board on main PCB, 1m Ohm 2 watt Screen grid resistors.
After this the only thing left to do would be Transformers....:)

Thanks for the comment. The Allen low profile output transformer is a nice upgrade.
