Brian, are you serious when you say that you are someone not to be modeled. Well let's take a look at what we see on RUclips and judge from that. You are a Boy Scout Troop Leader. That would mean that young men choice or voluntary to follow you. That's a pretty big endorsement. That would also make you a teacher ( without pay). That speaks volumes about you dedication and commitment. You appear to be truthful and that is a good quality too. And last, you are brave enough to put videos up on RUclips. I think, Brain you are exactly the type of man that we need more of in this country. Well, that's my opinion. Thanks for sharing. PS Bear Grylls knife is still not for me. There are better $50.00 knives.
Ray Konold Aw shucks Ray, now I'm blushing. But I am still just a guy with a video camera. And I agree there are better knives fro the money than the Bear Grylls. I just haven't found mine to be the horrible piece of junk so many say it is.
Thanks for the video Brian! For a target, I bought some cedar fence posts & made a target out of that. They stick well because it's a soft wood, easy on the knives, & replacement is easy & cheap if you tear them up!
Reminds me of bringing up my three, well men now, but my boys learning to throw throwing knives and hawks. And that was like out doors darts really. We made up games and soaked in a lot of outdoors and sunshine a way back then. Thanks for the reminder. And thanks for the refresher coarse.
WOW! These vids are so fantastic. I love RUclips folks with a good sense of humor, humility, and who don't take themselves too seriously. Really these are some of my very favorite survival gear reviews anywhere. I always learn so much from your vids, and also laugh out loud often. Survivor Lilly and Survival on Purpose Rock! Thanks so much for the amazing content -
Thank you for the honesty about how dangerous throwing blades can be, there is a place by me that specializes in throwing weapons in a safe and professional way, called "The Axe House" it has become a date activity for me and my lady
A very good instructional video on knife throwing. You're very good at it, by the way. Impressive, to say the least. I've listened carefully to your advice on knife throwing, and taken it to heart.
This is the EXACT design of the vintage German made "black mamba" throwing knife! Only difference being that the sharade one is made of stainless and the vintage one is made of carbon steel. Great video, keep it up and have a nice day
Once I threw a folder it had a lock on it though. Still a bad idea. I throw knives into an archery target. You should try unscrewing scissor halves and throwing them. I tried and it works but not well. About the Hollywood thing, as a young boy, actor charles Bronson and his brothers carried knives and were quite proficient with them. :) chuck Norris Have a good day
Great review! I prefer to use a no spin in a combat situation. When you spin the knife it's much harder to have the right spacing. It is much harder to perfect but even the underhand throw can be deadlier in a close combat situation. It is worth the time to learn because it translates much better to other objects like scissors or even swords.
Finally I found them, someone still makes them! I had a couple years ago and they were called 'black mambas' back in the seventies'. The best ever rugged simple design throwing knives. So it's Schrade? Thank you
Gotta really agree with you about not throwing your knife. However, I can see a benefit in knowing how to throw the proper tool. Kind of like martial arts. It trains the mind as well as the body. Have a blessed day all you all, David.
Hi Brian, throwing knives is fun!☺ I throw 'no spin', I found spinning them to be hard er, I use stripped down Swiss army bayonets, the handle unscrews and leaves a wonderfully strong 13 and a half inch long thrower, cheap too, especially if you buy broken handled ones, as you're only gonna chuck them away ☺ ( p.s. if anyone wants Swiss army bayonet handles, I 've got 6 just sitting here )
I knew it was just a matter of time. I loved it. You are the master brother. I paused the video to type this message. (On afternoons again) I hope in the last two minutes you put up a balloon. I could tell you were excited. Top notch. All right back to your video. ATB
theres also the underhand throw. hold it at the end of the handle and throw it forward... it is a good skills to learn if youre drawing and throwin it straight at an attacker... however it does bounce back more and my legs have the scars to prove it. can u throw hatchets, tomahawk, axes or shovels? i havent thrown a shovel or axe in years but the Old Timer hatchet was a great thrower, the Cold Steel Riflemans Hawk is a great thrower. i reckon i need to practice more like i use to... i had a set of a dozen starsanda dozen small throwin knives with an indoor target which was on thr back of my door in my apt... i scared a few folks with em.,. lol i was young and dumb
another thing i use to love throwin was bowie knives. 10in blade, full tang, 5in handle... fun times... at one point my buddy n i got a bunch of old butter knives n sharped them to a point those were fun. ive also thrown a 3 point mower blade. its like a big star. i have a video of that on my facebook :) ill try to find it and share the link for ya.
I use to practice throwing knives at a large stack of bale of hay (limits ricochet and possibility of chipping tips compared to harder surface). And yes, dangers lurk when you throw knives. You must always be cautious about your surroundings. And wear goggles for eye protection! I seen in person, where a friend made a throw and lost his balance. Ugly part about this is that he was holding another knife on his other hand, and ended up slicing his hand pretty bad when he fell.
They make good spear tips, theres a survival application for them, you're still throwing it and for a survival purpose, or even survival on purpose... Peace from NZ.
man i think you are a kid in a mens body! nice to see how exciting you get with the new toys! great positive attitude! I feel the same way sometimes in my wife doesn't get it all LOL thanks for the video...cool stuff
Brian, a YoYo started out life as a weapon. Lots of things we do as sports or relaxation had a start as weapons or in combat. I agree I am not staking my life on my ability (or in my case inability) to throw a knife but I know guys who have put meat on the table with common metal tipped darts much less a throwing knife.
"Sometimes the testing apparatus needs to be calibrated" Priceless! Sometimes the testing apparatus needs to lay on the couch, drink beer & eat Doritos while watching walking dead
Hi like ur video .....when throwing no-spin try putting ur index finger on top of the blade ur index finger will help you guide the knife and upon release reduce rotation on throw and u'll have better control ....try it :)
Great video!! My wife would say boys and their toys. Lol I want to come over and play. That sure looks like fun. I haven't had a set in years. Take care
LOL!!! You are just a big kid with a camera and throwing knives! Loved it, though like one of your previous comments, too long winded. Just throw the knives, and we will watch!! No need to preach about throwing knives. To quote some one famous, " I know you will throw them, all of them together! I know you would."
Well Bryan, this is the Man Card version of darts!!!!!!!! Very comprehensive explanation by the way. I've kinda wondered about the "how to"....and I see that Little Stinky got the heck outta Doge before the real steel started to fly! Smart skunk!!! >;)
Throwing stars are a lot easier to stick up if you have a good heavy one. I have one heavy good one. That said I'm told the Japanese idea was to throw a hand full of the cheap light ones as a distraction then run for it. If any of them stuck up in a hostile critter's face or body I can see how said critter would be seriously distracted. Have fun.
I throw knives at just about anything. I like the Dart reference. Friend of mine and me were having a friendly game of darts, tied one one, shot the bull for first throw. He went single on the wire right side, and started bragging. I pulled out my old timer and did a single spin into the double. My wife be-raided me, my friend bought us a round. Lucky is better than good any day!
thankfully, you didn't heap chuck Norris in with those other guys... you know, chuck Norris doesn't turn on a light, he turns off the dark lol. great video Bryan!
Who would want to throw their knife into a tree.........we all would hahahahaha. But you are right, i tried it years ago with a knife my dad got me, broke the tip ;-( Maybe the company made these as they know there are big adult kids ;-) who would love to hit that target like you Brian, lol. I have learned something here today, so will never throw my knife, but may have to save some shekels for some throwing knives....it looks so cool and you are right to point out the dangers to yourself, and making sure behind target is clear. Another good video, no response needed, as am going through your vids....but thanks.
I can agree with throwing a fighting knife being a bad idea, but when using throwing knives as weapons, you usually have another blade with you for close range fighting. The reason throwing knives were made were so that warriors could have concealable, more easily carried projectile weapons (as opposed to a bow and arrow) to injure or take out an enemy before they get close, because you WILL get injured in a close range knife fight regardless of how good you are.
Thanks for the demonstration! Love your videos! I'm 61 and haven't thrown a knife since I was a teenager. The throwing knives I had back then were made of a very soft metal. I got pretty good at sticking them from about 15 feet, but I missed a lot getting there. I had about a half dozen knives, and they all got bent so much that they became too soft to stick from bending them back into shape so much. I was so impressed with your video and your skill that I thought I'd order some of the Schrade 8-inchers. Found them on Amazon today (4/21/16) for about $30. I plan to make a target out of 2x4's glued together edge-to-edge and have some fun. Thanks again!
Schrade just had a video on these on their channel so I figured I should revisit this one, I'm thinking I might get a set : -) For entertainment purposes, of course ...
Mooky Mann I played with a guy once who got not one, not two, but three clubs stuck in a palm tree. The first out of anger, the second because it seemed like the best way to dislodge the first one. The third? Had to be the alcohol.
Good advise. Even if it's just a ten dollar knife why abuse it or maybe hurt somebody. It's like Bo Randall said. If you get the urge to throw a knife go lay down till it passes.
Survival On Purpose yeah. at first i couldn't throw one at all without it rebounding at me. i practice on and off. but when i do practice it for awhile adn get back in the hang i can even use other items like screw drivers, nails, raizors, etc. it just depends on distance and height. but if I'm using a knife (any kind really) then its just a matter of getting in tune with its shape and weight. I've tried holding the knife differently and moving differently but i just can't seem to get the hang of spins. even small kitchen knives are usable. yeah they'll brake if you miss too much or it lands wrong. but it just takes getting used to i guess.
John Campbell I want to be a good neighbor. Really. But I just walked outside and they are both barking as I type this. Both chained up to two different trees. In our city it is illegal to chain pets unless the owner is present. But once you call the law you just made an enemy for life.
"It is a foolish thing to do, it is extremely dangerous, this thing could bounce back and even put an eye out OR WORSE you could definitely tear up a knife". Knives - more important than human safety, this guy 2016.
What would be cool Bryan would be to make a log dart board and use these as a Adult yard game.:) fun at the BBQ. Also they should powder coat them orange for ease of finding them.
I feel your pain. I can't stand when dogs bark all the freakin time for no reason. Especially when they know it's the person that lives next door. They see you everyday, but still bark at you like it's the first time. If you watch Cesar Milan, he will tell you it's the owners who are screwed up and not the dog.
I like the videos sir! Survival is not an accident!!! I do disagree that throwing knives are not weapons and couldn’t be used in self defense. I would argue the contrary, I think that history would show you that throwing knives and hatchets/axes etc has been used to kill and protect many. There is an african tribe rumored to throw the K’pinga so well that they could throw it over the shields if Roman soldiers to kill them. I think that the history of throwing knives in America has been that of sport and for entertainment but make no mistake , knife throwing is a deadly art and and can be used to protect one’s home and family. If a knife can sink two inches into a round of wood, what do you think it would do to human skin/bones/skull? There are three knives that I saw you review and throw that while they weren’t made to throw, they would definitely disable an assailant. Those knives you threw in this video may not be a good self defense choice but the Schrade “Little Ricky” “Leroy” Or “Jethro” would definitely subdue anyone.
I was kidding yet NY home of the safe act may require it?That looks like a fun skill for folks to learn and it never hurts to have another alternative.Thank you for sharing.God bless.
What is sad is that it was entirely possible you weren't kidding. Which says a lot about where we have come as a nation of united states. I have no doubt these would be illegal in many places here in the good old USA. NY would be high on my list to bet on.
Yes,so true! Include in the list more than 16 ounces of pop, salt in restaurant tables and baby formula in NYC! Add to that the pressure cookers and machetes big brother was considering regulating/banning,the list could be never ending as well as unconstitutional. We better get our "potential deadly household goods"before it's too late! Imagine what our great grandparents would say! Looks like this TTP act may help out the concerned big brother if we don't stop it. Thank you and God bless us!
They have actually told me they want me to be as honest as possible and even thanked me for pointing out some negatives in other videos. A little skepticism can be a good thing but don't let it decay into cynicism.
To me Knife throwing is pretty much a sport. Just like Archery and Marksmanship. I mean remember them Lawn Darts? that wasn't the best idea either but some guy that wasn't doing his job as a parent got it made illegal. I mean I admit not the best idea in a country where adult supervision means Uncle Jimmy when he's 14 beers deep.... But whatever. Looks pretty good for a guy with a spot to do it. edit, I've had MANY a steel tip dart knick the wire and come zinging back at the bull line but playing plastic tip darts is never even close to as fun. Over regulation ummm no, I don't care for it much.
Perhaps the most accurate term for these would be "knife like throwing object". Other than to throw, would anybody ever carry one of these to use as a knife, that is to say, to cut things? I think not. An excellent song about the evils of throwing a real knife is Guy Clark's song, "The Randall Knife". ruclips.net/video/KY5MOUO464Q/видео.html
OMGosh, you're like a grown man, but like a kid in a candy store with those knives! just go over there and give those dogs 1/3 of a weener frank a couple times a day or so and they won't make a sound in the future. thumbed it up & thx!
No rotation doesn't make sense. Fighting the laws of physics. I would want the power and gyroscopic stability of natural rotation. Arrows rotate, bullets rotate...planets etc.All spheres described turn about their axis. But each to his own.
There are plenty of knife throwers on youtube, they seem intact. I have thrown knives and just about anything with a point. A lot of people over-exaggerate the actual dangers of throwing knives. Throwing knives can be pretty safe as long as you have no one near the target. Most throwing knives aren't sharp and don't need to be, when a knife does ricochet back you, they don't move very fast. Why bother telling people to not throw knives anyway? 1. It just makes people want to throw knives even more. 2. You're the one throwing knives anyway -_-
Ha-Ha wow buddy slow down! Lol.. knife throwing is a viable alternative for a combat situation! Japanese samurai practice this for centuries it is known as "shurikenjutsu" the art of throwing hidden blade.... You are correct in this regard that you would not want to throw your last weapon , but if you have multiple knives on you and you do this by surprise it can be an effective method for combat! please visit my channel 4 various demonstrations!
Survival On Purpose yes of course.... I think many people are misinformed when it comes to knife throwing and it's potential. If you utilized the no-spin and or half-spin method which can be thrown from any distance/angle you would realize it's effectiveness!
Survival On Purpose I here you ! As I mentioned above plse visit my channel and Facebook group "Instinctive Knife Throwers" tons of information there!... Hopefully I can learn some bushcrafting skills from your channel and you can learn some knife throwing from mine lol
OK, I don't want to seem too critical here but... You spent the first of this video talking about how you should never throw knives, etc. Yet 6 days ago you released a video where you were throwing a $100 knife which you were passing along to someone else. Maybe you just don't throw the knives that Schrade sends you that you get to keep. Sorry, just seems a little inconsistent in my opinion.
Was looking for review of these knives but sorry to say you are not a guy for throwing knives.... 3 main techniques are no-spin, half-spin, and full-spin... And throwing knives are only dangerous when wielded by someone not not mature enough... since they don't cut hey are more like a toy but still harm since the tip can go thru a metal can. Cold steel sureflight do easily
I meant no offense my friend, just saying you should have had a better explanation or link another video on how to throw them. Also since I bought these knives, I realized that these knives are just good for spin throws btw... and you do have a point if they are dangerous... you gotta be at some distance... it ricochet into my leg at about 2m away with flat half-spin... that only works with heavier knives
Great video Brian! Always happy when I see a new video from you in my sub list! Keep up the good work brother!
sackett68 Thanks. I appreciate it!
Did I mention humble and modest? Thanks Brian.
"Okay, MAYBE Chuck Norris." Thank you for the laughs sir.
Thanks Charles.
Chuck wouldn't need to throw the knife he would just pitch the sheath and watch you crumble. lol
Thanks for the video Brian!
For a target, I bought some cedar fence posts & made a target out of that. They stick well because it's a soft wood, easy on the knives, & replacement is easy & cheap if you tear them up!
Great idea.

I have been throwing knives since I was about 12 years old. You covered the subject well. Nice job.
Tom Olofsson It's just good, clean fun.
I wonder what the price will be, they look promising for no-spin
robert schoultz I bet they are priced to sell.

+Cesar Garcia I have tried to work on that but i still need a LOT more practice.
sometimes when I'm at work bored I find some scrap boxes and throw scissors and pens and whatnot.
This is my first video to watch in your channel and i like it already keep up the good work i love your accent btw
jokeer312 Accent? What are you talking about? ;-)
This southern accent at least thats what i think
Thanks for replying btw
Sorry i think it's western right?
IT is definitely Southern. I am a Georgia boy.
Love my SCH205 but need to add a few more to my collection. I like the throwing knives, they look like fun!
Oh they are.
Just got a set of the eight inch schrade 6 pk. I agree with you that knife throwing is comparable to learning darts.
Just fun
Finally I found them, someone still makes them! I had a couple years ago and they were called 'black mambas' back in the seventies'. The best ever rugged simple design throwing knives. So it's Schrade? Thank you
+steelgila Glad to help
You have a great channel. It would be cool if you could post some videos about the knots involved with rock climbing. Thx
Ross Rivero I will do my best.
As always, straight forwarded and great info! I do throw knives and it's a fun time. As he mentioned, not a lethal blade just fun.
Yep. Just good, clean fun.
Nice video. You were so excited , a kid in a candy shop. Fun and games. Like them. That might be on my list for shure.
Lt Survival I was having fun for sure Louis.
Thanks for the how to! I throw a hawk but now I will try a knife!
It is a lot of fun.
The pups next door are just really happy to see you! They're saying....hey Brian hey Brian over here Brian hello Brian we love you Brian!
opichocal I think they are saying "let me off this stupid chain so I can eat your face off".
Gotta really agree with you about not throwing your knife. However, I can see a benefit in knowing how to throw the proper tool. Kind of like martial arts. It trains the mind as well as the body. Have a blessed day all you all, David.

A balloon. Now why didn't I think of that? You can bet I'm gonna use that idea Jim. Thanks.
Awesome! Bryan looks like fun
The_kid Oh, it is.

these look seriously Nice, I'm getting a set of the ten-inchers as soon as they release.
They are fun.
Kid in a candy store! Lol! Looks like the fun factor will exceed the actual cost of the knives.
Thanks for sharing.
Yep. Just good, clean fun.
In close range and combat situations, which would be perfect either spin throw or no spin???
+surendhar Selvakumar A pistol?
Survival On Purpose lol.., I'm talking about knife...,
You didn't say about any pistols in this video...,
i enjoy your videos, great presenting style :) plus i am a big fan of schrade thanks
Thanks a lot.
Witch do you perfer the bigger or the small knifes at the beginning
+ScorpianX12 Probably bigger.
Survival On Purpose Cool so would but if I were in the hunger games I would chose the smaller
Brian, a YoYo started out life as a weapon. Lots of things we do as sports or relaxation had a start as weapons or in combat. Whatever works.
Hi like ur video .....when throwing no-spin try putting ur index finger on top of the blade ur index finger will help you guide the knife and upon release reduce rotation on throw and u'll have better control ....try it :)
Yvan Tomac I'll give that a try. Thanks
:)
Survival On Purpose SO have you tried the finger on top for the no spin throw? If so ! How did it feel ?
i did and it seems to help. i just don't have time to mess with it too much right now.
Ah ok .....well hope you do it will help
Great video!! My wife would say boys and their toys. Lol I want to come over and play. That sure looks like fun. I haven't had a set in years. Take care

RkyMtnHootOwl I tried to keep it short but it just got away from me. And you know you would ;-)
anyone know when these come out?
I've been known to brake a few knives and all I can do is to blame Hollywood for that.
***** I blame Hollywood for pretty much everything ;-)
Sad but true. I miss John Wayne.
Survival On Purpose me too and them loonies want to take his name off his Airport. Sad
Well Bryan, this is the Man Card version of darts!!!!!!!! Very comprehensive explanation by the way. I've kinda wondered about the "how to"....and I see that Little Stinky got the heck outta Doge before the real steel started to fly! Smart skunk!!! >;)

Would you recommend these for beginners?
Sure
Thanks I’ll look into them

Had to redo edge of my knife the next day, the wire rolled it pretty bad.
Probably worth it
thankfully, you didn't heap chuck Norris in with those other guys... you know, chuck Norris doesn't turn on a light, he turns off the dark lol. great video Bryan!
joe reardon Chuck Norris for President!
i would use one as a spear head only cause it would look very cool also id sharpen it and lash it in a pole and chuck it at huge board in my backyard
John Harrington That might be fun.
no
great vid Eric Clapton!
+João Paulo Carvalho You think so?
Can you throw it from really far ?
Sure. Whether it sticks is the question ;-)
So those rambo throwing skills we see arent real ?
The reason throwing knives were made were so that warriors could have concealable, more easily carried projectile weapons (as opposed to a bow and arrow) to injure or take out an enemy before they get close, because you WILL get injured in a close range knife fight regardless of how good you are.
searchoverload8 Easily carried projectile weapons. Hmmm. I like that idea ;-)
where can I get them at
That's a good question. They're not on Amazon right now. I'll have to check around.
Schrade just had a video on these on their channel so I figured I should revisit this one, I'm thinking I might get a set : -)
For entertainment purposes, of course ...
+Optionsaregood They are just good, clean fun.
Wow, awesome, thanks
Gristle Von Raben Fun stuff.
I myself have never thrown a knife. A putter is a whole nother story.
Mooky Mann Very funny and oh sooooooooo true!! >;)
Mooky Mann I played with a guy once who got not one, not two, but three clubs stuck in a palm tree. The first out of anger, the second because it seemed like the best way to dislodge the first one. The third? Had to be the alcohol.
Survival On Purpose "don't drink and drive" he he at a golf coarse:) remember the movie caddy shack with Rodney Dangerfield:)
Survival On Purpose Booze and pasture pool will humble ya!!!!
The funny thing is I had pretty much given up on alcohol by that time in my life or I might have lost a few myself.
great video gald you still doing them like to watch them I should do a review on my knives
Thanks.
Ninja kit. Good stuff.
Possibly the most fun I had making a video so far.
I don't commend throwing knives, either (tic). BUT, If you must do it, please use the dedicated throwers. I would go for the triple 20 myself.
Greyman Zink I'm not that good. If I hit wood and stick I count it as 60 points.
Good advise. Even if it's just a ten dollar knife why abuse it or maybe hurt somebody. It's like Bo Randall said. If you get the urge to throw a knife go lay down till it passes.
+357bullfrog I respectfully disagree with Mr. Randall, at least as far as this subject goes. It is just plain fun.
Its a hobby. You could use them for self defense but you gotta be skilled. REALLY skilled.
+PRESTIGER33 just good clean fun
What's the intro song?
+Mattro Just me playing a song I call "The Survival On Purpose Theme Song" . Catchy title, huh?
I started with the no spin technique :/ i just couldn't do the others so id probably have to disagree with it being one of the harder ways..
anthony longoria Really? I just find it harder to get the hang of.
I'll get it eventually.
Put them on the end of a 7 or 8 feet piece of wood and makes a good spear
economad It's more fun to throw them.
I love dogs too, but some dog *owners* on the other hand...
Nice review, Brian.
Punctuation is important ;-)
Lol, go Chuck Norris. Looks like fun!
akamaddog mancuso I met him once for about 10 seconds at a book signing. He's really a nice guy.
What would be cool Bryan would be to make a log dart board and use these as a Adult yard game.:) fun at the BBQ. Also they should powder coat them orange for ease of finding them.
40belowful I agree, especially the orange part. Maybe I'll paint them.
the skunk is back he was in the tripod lol the dog where letting you know about the skunk lol
carla theisen I didn't even know skunks could climb.
definitely Chuck Norris can kill people by throwing even nails not just knives
don't underestimate a molten marshmallow tho. I've seen them so some damage.
+Josh Anonymous Ouch.
I feel your pain. I can't stand when dogs bark all the freakin time for no reason. Especially when they know it's the person that lives next door. They see you everyday, but still bark at you like it's the first time. If you watch Cesar Milan, he will tell you it's the owners who are screwed up and not the dog.
+Texas Outdoors Without a doubt. I guess if my life consisted of moving from a crate to a 25' cable and back I'd bark too.
its pretty awsome.but you are good at throwing knives.
I'm really not that good. I have seen some folks who are excellent
well you are better than me.
Do we need a permit?Thank you,it may save someones life.
truth freeze That probably depends on where you live.
What is the TTP act?
When they sent you the knives they wanted you to say only good things.
They have actually told me they want me to be as honest as possible and even thanked me for pointing out some negatives in other videos. A little skepticism can be a good thing but don't let it decay into cynicism.
Bill Page knives are some of the best throwing knives you can buy. BP Knives by bill Page on facebook.
Cool
Try a blowgun. It's a lot of fun too.
I like your videos but man stop repeating yourself and get to the point. No pun intended.
Thanks
Perhaps the most accurate term for these would be "knife like throwing object".
Other than to throw, would anybody ever carry one of these to use as a knife, that is to say, to cut things? I think not.
An excellent song about the evils of throwing a real knife is Guy Clark's song, "The Randall Knife".
ruclips.net/video/KY5MOUO464Q/видео.html
tom jackson Man, what a great song! Of course, most of his are. Thanks for sharing that Tom.
OMGosh, you're like a grown man, but like a kid in a candy store with those knives! just go over there and give those dogs 1/3 of a weener frank a couple times a day or so and they won't make a sound in the future. thumbed it up & thx!
maybe
Lets play a game. Take a shot every time he recommends you not to ever ever throw a knife.
I wouldn't do that
No rotation doesn't make sense. Fighting the laws of physics. I would want the power and gyroscopic stability of natural rotation. Arrows rotate, bullets rotate...planets etc.All spheres described turn about their axis. But each to his own.
+steelgila I have seen some pretty impressive videos of people using the "no spin" technique.
2. You're the one throwing knives anyway -_-
Vinny V It was said kind of tongue in cheek, since I "balance test" pretty much every knife I review.
I just don't want to be the guy who brings a throwing knife to a gun fight.
Survival On Purpose yes of course.... I think many people are misinformed when it comes to knife throwing and it's potential. If you utilized the no-spin and or half-spin method which can be thrown from any distance/angle you would realize it's effectiveness!
I'm practicing the no spin but I'm not there yet.
Survival On Purpose I here you ! As I mentioned above plse visit my channel and Facebook group "Instinctive Knife Throwers" tons of information there!... Hopefully I can learn some bushcrafting skills from your channel and you can learn some knife throwing from mine lol
Cool. I will check it out.
if u dont recomend it then y r u doing it
+cgcuber Because it is fun.
Maybe shamgar
Oh wait, he had a stick
Maybe RC the knife thrower, can throw a knife through or into a human skull
Dylan Lewis Or maybe just a guy throwing pointy hunks of steel at a log ;-)
Survival On Purpose yeah man
OK, I don't want to seem too critical here but...
Have you seen any of my Schrade knife videos Tim? Watch a few and I think you will understand.
+Alexandru Sarion I am certainly not an expert. Just having fun
I think throwing knives are for sport
Or fun
haha.......thts all Hollywood......Ok maybe not Chuck Norris
Well. We are talking about Chuck Norris.
To much rambling my friend.
Thanks for watching.
Tracy Hubbard I agree
Can you take some criticism too? Your quite rude my friend, we all have ways to improve.
Nice vid, but a little too much blah, blah, blah.
anyone else notice the skunk?
Skunk! Where? Skunks scare me.
Survival On Purpose Oh you know...just chilling in the background at about the 4:50 mark. Cool video by the way :D
My schrades broke
+Ralph Spencer Schrade throwing knives?
+Survival On Purpose good video i love throwing knifes also your videos are really awesome hey you know i always wondered what is your age?
LOL............Its ur show(throw) time
