I love Thump. Hiding the mouth part which leads down to this kind of 'ripple' with eyes is a really nice design. Very 'spooky', even if it is a bit silly. In fact, this whole series makes me have flashbacks to my childhood. I used to be terrified of the dark (still kind of am even though I'm an adult), so Thump is probably the one that terrifies me the most in hindsight. My house tends to creak a lot and I hear thumps at night, plus I swear our place is haunted...so now Imma just leave my lights on at night because I'm scared that Thump will get me. *shudders* My favorite is Bea Neath, mostly because of her intense pink hair. I love the pink haired dolls, although my #1 favorite is Sheena. I've loved her since I was a kid, and I wish that my aunt had given me her dolls when I was a kid but I got really scared of Agana (was afraid she'd eat me and tear me to shreds when I was asleep). After that she locked up the dolls in a little closet area. My aunt had all the dolls up to Series 19, but she stopped collecting them and then just last year they were thrown away because she didn't want them anymore. Ugh, I hate myself for not taking them when I did because she had the ones that were 'put to rest'. But I do hope to get a couple dolls eventually, I just need to save up some cash.
Bea Neath is my FAVORITE!! She's so cute yet psycho looking, ughh I LOVE dolls that stand out like her, and her smile is just so sweet to me. Thump just makes me so happy as well, I have to say that they are probably my 2nd favorite, they're so spooky and cute and their whole outfit and hair is amazing, ugh I want Bea Neath and Thump really badly!!
I was so happy when I got my set in. I loved all the dolls and they were all incredible. It was hard to pick my favorite but I chose Umbral. The reason why is she looks so creepy in her box. Since she is mostly black she blends into the black coffin and tissue paper, making it seem like she disappeared. Sometimes I check to make sure she is still in her box because at a quick glance it looks like she did get out, but then i notice her eyes and i think "oh good she did not break out to murder me in my sleep!"
Love Umbral,got her today,first doll to take out of the box to display,so if course my Umbral will not stand up on its own!lol!Still a gorgeous doll,I LOVE her!Great review,thank you!
Oh wow I just love Bea Neath!! I can't get her yet so I just hope she doesn't gain too much popularity so I can get her at a reasonable price. She is so cute. Great job on these reviews I appreciate it a lot.
I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed. I get along with the voices inside of my head. Therefore this series looks fantastic! LOL. Great review as always. Have you ever considered reading the little certificate/poems? Some others do and it does make for a really complete review. Morticia

I've only gotten the Tessa and captain Bonney cards even though I answered the first two riddles correctly and as soon as they put the riddle up so I'm pretty pissed about it. Hope it might be a misshap on Mezco's end

I love how the pairs of buttons going down Thump's coat each match up to the pairs of eyes inside it. Such a subtle little detail.

I have thump and I love this whole series .the whole idea of them being spirts is what makes them interesting and different.
I have Thump and I love it, but I was soooo disappointed when I realized that the mouth art was just paint :(
