Absolutely astonishing skills with Nunchucks. I own a set and believe me spinning them once and not hitting yourself is a skill, but to do what this master can do With not just one but 2 is simply extraordinary!!! There will never be another Bruce Lee. RIP.... You will be remembered as the legend that you are.
When i made my Nunchakus in the late 70s after watching this in cinema i thought the same. But in fact its an easy twirling he shows here, that moves are learned with sticks in Arnis as a beginner. more interesting are the finishing moves, not that twirling. If you think about the movements with two Nunchakus they are not sooo hard to use, just train on. But in fact two of them are not as good than one, same with sticks. believe me. I am in that theme since the late 70s.
im a bruce lee fan and was long before youtube existed. the thing is i dont put him on a pedastile like others do. hes not invincible or half as good as his stans say. you people are stans not fans. weight matters too and anyone who says it doesnt knows nothing. weight matters less on the streets against randoms who arent trained. you take 2 trained people and 15lbs is a huge advantage. there are weight classes in pro fighting for a reason. also its easier to stay in your prime when your a movie actor and your body doesnt have to get worn down over time from fighting in real pro fights. so bruce lee is great but not the greatest. there are many greats and there is no 1 single greatest. too many stans and not enough fans.
At 1:47 Anders Nelsson (the man coming up behind Bruce’s character Tang Lung) was genuinely whacked when Bruce flung that nunchaku back, and the impact left a noticeable mark on his face. Since then he grew a beard to hide the injury as best he could (you can see him with his beard in a small acting role in Jackie Chan’s _Miracles,_ which came out in 1989).
He is the very first to create this special martial art move as well as this unique sound. Millions of actors worldwide trying to immitate him including the many Westerners !
He Made Others In The Fight Seen Past And Present Pale Into Insignificance.......It Was All Or Nothing And Tragically He Burned Out Early Like A Supernova....What He Left Behind Remains Unique And Iconic.
Hollywood told Lee that the way he wanted to film fight scenes didn't work. Goes off to China directs his own movie and still more realistic choreography than even Hollywood films today
That smile. You'll know it's a trap when you fight against him. If he does like that, you'd think that he says " I'll go easy on you, mate. I won't try to counter your attacks".
Why do they all come at him one on one? In real life every one of those guys would jump on him at the same time. You don’t go in order to get beat up, just jump him all at once. These old martial arts movies are ridiculous! 🤣😂 I still love them though.
The dudes face in the red tank top when he gets hit is priceless. LOL

One of his best movies ever made of many, however, this was this first one I saw.

Using one pair of nunchucks properly, takes real skill, using two at the same time is beyond normal, it takes years of training
And probably a lot of pain. Legend.
