SCP-1633 - Most Dangerous Video Game

- SCP 1633 is a Safe Class anomaly also known as The Most Dangerous Video Game.
SCP-1633 is a computer game created by a now-defunct independent game studio. The copy in Foundation possession is a beta version of the game. The core gameplay is relatively complete, but there are numerous incomplete aspects.
The source of the anomalous properties of SCP1633, as well as a major selling point in the game's pre-release advertising, are its so-called "tactical heuristic algorithms".

I appreciate how they listened to us, shortening the third-person narrative and continuing on to a detailed account of the Wiki file
So glad, I don’t care about the long winded story that doesn’t have anything to do with the foundation, skipped the past few episodes that did that
I like it but it was way to long taking the entire episode for a while
@@silvershift5505 This way, it gives more context.
I preferred the original way it was done since it made for a good idle listen while I was doing other things. Made for really fun "creepy pasta" like white noise without the monotone voice.
I just want it the way it used to be. No video needed to be as long as it should. Literally stopped watching here for awhile especially when it’s a retread from other channels like Doc Bob’s. It’s getting overindulgent. I get they want that audience retention and monetization, but they literally have more than enough videos and people would just watch them back to back.
I love how they find an anomalously glitchy video game SCP and the Foundation immediately suspects Todd Howard.
Honestly, taking away the whole "breaking the game and becoming sentient" part, the concept of a game learning what you do in order to beat you is a good concept, it makes you have to keep changing your playstyle since nothing will likely work twice.
Hello neighbor was supposed to be like that but sadly the devs caught matpat-itis and decided it would be a way better idea to cram a bunch of uninteresting and convoluted lore in the game instead as a way to try to get more publicity by shamelessly trying to bait theory channels into making videos about the game, fortunately in this case it kind of blew up in their face and matpat called them out on it in one of his videos 😂
@@jlewwis1995 why is that funny
Like among us
@@expendable8001 in what way is it even remotely like among us
hello neighbor
I loved that little jab at Todd Howard and CD project red 🤣
I once met someone who used to work as a gameplay tester. He said it was a miserable job, because you're just doing the same gameplay over and over again for a LOT longer than you'd think
They want you to test every single possible thing someone could do in a game, you don’t get to play the game as normal, like most people think. You have to play everything as a slow methodical process
Lol Todd Howard definitely had a hand in the creation of this SCP
You got a scam bot you got a scam bot
@@timothywalker4621 true dat
Nah, Todd Howard firmly believes that adaptive difficulty is giving NPCs infinite hp and sometimes the relentlessness of SCP-096
@@shlomomarkman6374 lol 😂
No, because SCP-1633 works
I love when you guys talk about the containment measures. The narratives really bring out the horror of the scp but the containment measures give it a sense of being a ‘thing’ that exists over a rogue creepy pasta. This was such a good video! Loved the whole concept and how you guys played it out.
Yo don't trust that comment it's a scam
Take a moment to think about what this does. The program actively adapts and evolves to try to stop you. Not the player’s character, the player themselves. It doesn’t just want you to stop. It preys on your need to defeat the challenge until it finds a way to “defeat” you
Now take all that and think of the results in a MMO setting …
Do you notice the cod zombies wonderwaffle at 7:21
so a doxxer filled mmo
Not even the most dangerous video game in SCP reality; at least this one doesn't literally destroy chunks of existence and threaten reality like the Wondertainment Pretendo.
Lol right
And this is not Even hardest scp game, 1315 is
@@Mrhade5 I actually like this channel, but I'm not going to pretend they're SCP fans; every now and then, they leave signs they're just riding a popular trend.
This is the most dangerous. The pretendo is a video game console, not just a game
@@meteorchrome122 OK, were you expecting me to look up the article and start just listing the individual games on it? There are like 12, and all of them can break reality.
It's way more fun when the SCP is presented through the Foundation with test logs and theories
The story-like approach is fun in its own way but when I want to see an SCP I want to see the Foundation as well
Ok the todd Howard joke had me laughing for a solid 5 minutes. As a hardcore Fallout New Vegas player this is probably one of my favourite SCP explain videos
Hunter is one of the biggest reasons I keep watching this channel. He brings a sort of life to it
you know scp-1633 seems kinda fun. It needed work for sure but I think once they ironed out the bugs and added multiplayer it would have been reasonably successful don't know why the company thought it needed to be anomalous.
Talking of videogame anomalies and multiplayer...remember the game in which great plague happened because of unintentional release of blight effect from one of the game bosses?
Well, if the game becomes super intelligent from 1 person imagine what 4 would do
@@LivonianGuy that was World of Warcaft, basically a pet was used in the boss which didn’t get the status affect removed. This let it be released still with the affect, and since the blight spread. It started spreading like a plague.
yeah lets just ignore the guy who went crazy and died
@@jayhenderson5872 They meant that the devs would have had success without needing to make the game into an anomaly, I think.
I like how your characters always look directly at the camera like they know they're being watched.
What if 1633 was put into SCP-079 Old AI's system? See if they become best friends or try to destroy each other.
My guess destroy eachother with the more advanced program being the victor
you guys should do a video explaining the average facility about the general features, containment zones, armouries, class d cells, testing chambers and more. this video would be great for people trying to visualize a facility for animations drawings games and more
That line where you called Todd Howard and CD Projekt Red Groups Of Interest was a pretty sweet burn if you ask me.
Gotta love how Hunter, at the end of the video when he mentions the "Among us" video, says "I can't believe I did that"
came looking for this comment
This is my favorite scp. The fact that the game will learn your playstyle and adapt to it is so interesting to me.
I think it would be interesting if the Cosmic Rust from Transformers was contained in the SCP foundation. Before the great war, the Golden Age of Transformer history when many transformer colonies spanned across the galaxy ended after Cosmic Rust was discovered and infected planet after planet until all space bridges had to be destroyed. This Cosmic Rust was like a rapidly spreading cancer for anything made with metal, it's fatal to transformers, spreads through metal-to-metal contact, and there was no known cure for it until Perceptor invented an Anti-corrosive called "Corrostop". While not intelligent per say I believe every piece of Mekhane would still consider this a major threat. As for the SCP foundation, keep all staff up to date on their tetanus shots, the containment procedures would have to involve no metal of any kind in the construction of the containment chamber, testing would have to be strictly monitored, and hope it doesn't affect the iron in blood. If one speck of it finds its way into a wall outlet, it would mean the end of the entire power grid. It could possibly be an asset against any mechanical SCP that decides not to follow the rules, but that's for the 0-5 Counsel to decide.
There is a transformers scp SCP-5984.
I'm a Transformers fan so it would be cool I'd they captured a transformer
@@Sora_Likes_Memes I'd like to see a version of the G1 cartoon featuring the SCP foundation. Sadly I believe there'd be copyright issues. A good way to work around that would be if they captured a transformer that isn't currently part of any transformers cannon like the EX-01 Plus Mocha from Big Fire Bird.
That'd be an awesome crossover
Kudos at the shots fired at Bethesda and CD.
Scam
@@boberinios9073 ya think? 😀 I have been hounded by the spirit Spamton G Spamton since I happen to say one time I was a fan.
Not bethesda, obsidian, well bethesda did publush it.
@@ONI_Agent_Bobcat The fuck are you talking about? Obsidian only did New Vegas.
@@SirDankleberry you mean for Bethesda? They have done other buggy titles.
So glad to see the foundation being active in the videos again and a proper explanation of what the scp is, rather than a random story about what it does .
PS: I love both formats. But I am impartial to the latter
Me: I should go to sleep now
RUclips: video game SCP buddy
Me: YOU ALERTED THE GAMER!
Sweet this is the type of video I was waiting for, actually explaining the scp and not a random story.
4:02 - 4:11 - Well, even Todd Howard and CD Projekt Red are known for their buggy games that SCP Foundation has to suspect their responsibility for this SCP. 😂😂
Yeeees love this one! The narration didn't blow out my eardrums, we actually got more detail on the SCP itself and containment alongside the fun story aspect, and it's still an SCP I haven't seen done before! I love this channel
A cursed video game is a SCP entry. I love the wiki and channels like this.
maybe you wanna check out scp-245
(its an scp videogame wich u actually can play)
I disagree. It reads like a dime a dozen low effort creepypasta. Oh, an evil video game inhabited by an entity? Just like 1,804 others written by angsty 12 year olds
I would volunteer to play this game. Would have loved some expansion on testing procedures, for example what if someone who had seen all previous tests/knew that they needed to change tactics as they went. What if you prepped someone to start out with a specific play style, the “easiest” for the game to counter and while it’s using resources to teach the AI to counter that, swap to another play style that counters the counter to the first playstyle. I want to see the foundation training people to push the AI as far as it could possibly go
I remember reading this one years ago, it's one of my favorites. Glad to see you guys putting your work into it
I was not expecting the "when the imposter is sus" at the end 😭
Fallout New Vegas is an unexpected choice, but an excellent one. That being said can we keep Dr. Bright from desecrating the war memorial?
Well played ! we all need more content like this. Thank You!
19:41 lol Hunter really hated Among Us, didn't he?
I really like how your making video game scp videos if your looking for any more ideas there's scp-2639 check it out.
I am addicted to these videos
Oh my gosh yes! Please do more of these videos. Not a horror story based on SCPs about random people in the world. I've missed the videos where they just describe the SCP so much. I hope they do more of these again.
"Most dangerous video game" Indeed it is, every video game makes you rage and cause harm.
But not The hardest, 1315 helds that title
@@Mrhade5 True
1633:able to get smarter over time.
Speedrunners:you are nothing but a mere RPG to me.
I love how you guys use the word "rage quit"
Idea to kill 682: expose him to a max brightness I phone screen. It would disintegrate him with the sheer light enegy.
7:20 okay SCP Explained, you win, you've earned my sub.
video idea: What if 682 fought 343?
Theres a story about that, 343 pretends to be god and they just talk, lying about himself since hes not god but Matusalem.
When asked about 682, 343 claimed it was “not one of his children” and refused to talk about it.
If you put the two in the same room, 343 would probably sigh dramatically and teleport 682 somewhere else, with about even odds of putting it back in its containment and dropping it in some random location on Earth.
682, 053, 999, 4555-∆ and other 4000 Are all Childs of Scarlet king, Who arent on 343 Area of effect, sixth Child, died on birth
(Incident-typhon-7)
Bro you know it’s dangerous when the enemies got a fuckin wunderwaffe from call of duty
They're will always be that one game that will throw anyone into a rage!
I love you guys and your videos!!! I watch them basically every night to relax and fall asleep to ❤ Your voice is such a sweet Lullaby, I can't be the only one who thinks/does this! 🖤
Hey scp explained aka infographic show I bought a scp 049 plushy from you guys it took a while to get here but I’m really happy with thank you for making good content on multiple channels and making good merchandise for your costumers keep up the good work
I love how Todd Howard was a suspect in this and from what it looks like was likely the first.
Definitely prefer videos in this style rather than the ones with a long build up that feel more like a tale than an explanation
There has to be someone out there that had 1471 and encountered this.
@ SCP Explained. Anyways thanks for the videos you show❤. And I would like to see more of the comedian Dr Jack Bright! 🤣🤣
i kind of want to mod this game so that way i could talk to each of the enemies and see how they mentally tick.
I would love to play a game like this! Sounds really fun despite the danger.
This game story me an awesome idea on how to plan random battles in an RPG Maker project I'm developing.
SCP worker: **walks into dead kids room and just steals his setup**
Well, now that is one game harder than Elden Ring when you start the game and run into the Tree Sentinel.
nice long video..love it. 👍
How can you save humanity in a game, when the whole world is dwarfes and goblins?
Nice vid scp explained
Me : sees the thumbnail
Also me : I don't like where this is going
This story somehow feels as if it’s based off the Polybius myth. Also I want a short on what SCP-250, the fleshless, living Allosaurus skeleton would want if taken with the Desire Camera
I most
Definitely hate when video games become cursed. Always seem to wanna play mentally with the player! Thanks goodness this SCP is locked up lol
079 could breach it to web
We already know it's Jumanji- stampeding rhinos in your living room doesn't scream 'safe'
''WAIT THERES A DEER BEHIND YOU"'
got me rolling because my brother screamed
💀
Speedrunners that don’t use saves and quits: I missed the part where that’s my problem
Talking bad about New Vegas?? HERESY!!
In all seriousness the thought of those NPCs head's spinning is hilarious and I wish I were old enough to have seen it first hand
and one more thing… the AI following a play method that learns about the player reminds me of the game “will you snail”
@ SCP Explained. Dead pool vs scp 682 was also Hilarious! 🤣🤣
I would acually love the "tactical heuristic algorithms"! I need that to be a thing
the spinning heads of New Vegas is the best part lmao
This sorta reminds me of the movie Stay Alive, where some people play a videogame called Stay Alive. The players can't start the game until after they've read a 'dark prayer' shown on screen but once the game starts, they run a chance of being killed in reality the same way they died in game. However, this also reminds me of Sans from Undertale and how unlike so many videogame characters, he actually works to dodge your attacks and does a pretty good job at it.
Wish I could be a gameplay tester.
Love how you have dva in the thumbnail
As Game Developer I can say, making a game like this is very much possible, however the only thing thats anomalous about the game is the cognitohazard it produced with the new game+
(which most likely grabbed the mind of the player, pulled it inside the game and then killed them there)
Please do SCP-896. I do not see people cover it often & I believe it really should be. To summarise; Safe Class SCP-896 is a the original code to a popular non-anomalous role playing game. When the anomalous original version is played the stats the player increases in the game increase in real life.
There’s a lot more to it but I don’t want to ruin the surprise so take a gamble. Trust me, go read that file.
:)
The callout to Todd Howard and CD Project RED was CRAZY 💀💀💀
I think it'd be interesting to hear you guys talk about scp 6113!
"Looking at you, Fallout: New Vegas"
Funny thing, i went to RUclips to watch some SCP stuff right after my FNV crashed...
imagine 1633 becoming sentient in the middle of the game and while you raging you just tear it apart like angry gamers are the worse ppl to get in a fight with
I know it’s not related but I had the best idea for destruction of 682. You get SCP-294 and make a juice that will disable it’s supernatural properties then, get enough to fill it’s room up.
an important thing to note about the static image that the game made to kill that guy, is that it worked ONLY on that guy. I interpreted this to be that, the game could make an image of seemingly random pixels for anyone if they played the game for such a long time. everyone's brain is different, so everyone would have a different pattern of pixels.
I'd like to see the old ai go toe to toe with this game
Now I am interested what would happen if the player does random and bizarre movements? How could the game develop a strategy if there is none? Would the game characters just be confused or somehow develop a counter for that? IM WAITING SCP EXPLAINED!
Nice try scammer
i would love to play this game. sound like fun
Yo if you see this then your awesome I am your biggest fan all of these videos had learned me a lot thank you and have a great week.
The lowkey cyberpunk jab was beautiful 😂
This kind of adaptive gaming algorithm would actually be really engaging for players. Sans the trolling from the npcs.
Cd projekt red will always get shot at when someone mentions a buggy game, at this point, its their slogan
Cd projekt red: we make buggy games
This sounds like dungeon something I think like that and wow it does sound 100% like this
I can't believe nobody is commenting on the fact they thought it was made by Todd Howard or CD Projekt Red just because it was glitchy, that cracked me up.
Its even funnier as Cd Project Ted wasnt really new as bad game developers before Cyberpunk
Dang I didn't know narrator was playing an fps here. Firing off those shots
Far as I can tell there is a way to completely beat the anomalous program. Find someone like the spiffing brit who's absolutely ruthless, not to mention an expert in finding exploits.
4:11 oof called out XD
Don't know if you take suggestions but SCP-5984 seems like a really interesting scp, if would make my day if you did a video on it.
3:33 imagine your kid dies and the government goes and takes his computer. I would be so confused
Dude, this new game plus is so cool, I even tried it myself!
Nice idea for a new acp! Fresh take
Bethesda’s glitches are part of the charm of their games. If a giant couldn’t smack me a 1,000 feet in the air it wouldn’t be Skyrim lol
5:35-So basically 2 damage dealers,1 support and 1 tank.
Nice vid.
Awesome
