- The Mundari are a small ethnic group of Nilotic people of South Sudan. The group, that is part of the Karo people, is composed mostly of cattle-herders and agriculturalists. The traditional Mundari tribal lands are located roughly 75 km north of Juba, the capital of South Sudan, and are centred on the town of Terekeka in the state of Central Equatoria.
The Mundari, like other nilotic tribes, are very cattle-oriented: cattle serves as food, a form of currency and a mark of status. Marriages are arranged by the prospective groom offering cattle to the bride's family and husbands may take as many wives as they can support. The Mundari engage in perennial cattle raiding wars with the Bor Dinka during the dry season.

Thanks Mr.Christ for been kind and nice, respectful to our Culture. This is humanity. And you're welcome always ❤❤
I relocated from Oahu, Hawaii to 30 minutes outside of the Louisville, Kentucky area and Louisville has quite a few "Lost Boys" from the Sudan and a nice community of Africans from different countries. They have created a nice community, they have taken full advantage of getting an education to better themselves and their people back home, they are very friendly, and both the men and women are very tall too with beautiful, smooth complexions.
Loving such educational content 🙌🙌. This is some serious vibes going on there lol. This lifestyle ain't for the weak!
i for one am lost for words .. this is really sumthn
appreciate the trouble you went to my brother to bring us this amazing content .. the challenges were epic but here we are all getting to know these folk from deep in south sudan .. i cannon judge them it is what it is and these is who they are .. hats off to their unique culture
thanks again chris for this content in my humble opinion it was definitely worth the trouble ( not to mention the money you had to use to facilitate safe passage to these neck of the woods ) i salute you my brother for definitely going the extra mile .. respect !
Interesting vlog on South Sudan going that extra mile Chris those bulls are huge and I'm keeping it positive. Louisville, KY USA
Hi Chris, I’ve been watching your videos for the past year, and so must say your contents are unmatched😊 I traveled a lot, but just decided to start documenting my travel,,,,,, South Sudan see you soon ,,, thank you Chris for showing this,,, you are doing amazing work

What beautiful and prideful people
More than one decade I'm out in my country thx for sharing our beautiful culture ❤🎉
Nice video. Watching this makes me remind that who you are depends mainly on where you were born and what your surroundings are.
Chris this is one of your better videos in South Sudan. It shows the things we might find taboo are not taboo for most people. One day I will like to visit the Mundari tribe because I have seen you did it.
If we as human beings studied different societies in an unbiased manner, different theories and psychology we would learn a lot. The day my grandpa started using modern drinks he didnt last long. He lived a healthy life taking traditionally brewed drinks and tradiotional medicine. Loved this video. And reminds me of my grandfather, he would circumcise initiates in Western Kenya.
Traditional drinks have very few ingredients. Remember, the women make them locally with sorghum and yeast and millet. In western Uganda, they have a banana wisky, which is only fermented bananas that's it. Sorry about your father.
What do mean by modern drinks? Like monster, Red Bull, etc?
@@DeadlySponge.probably. include fanta and coke
I believe there are millions of cultural lifestyles that are not discovered yet on this planet. Thanks for keeping us informed, i love your work guys.
