Tips for storm rush: - At the very least, try to hit them out of it. A good Orochi player can bait this for a parry (or even worse for your pride, a deflect), so try to be disciplined with how you interrupt it. - Block it. The storm rush indicator is extremely fast, but you can kinda gauge what the Orochi is doing based on the animation, which can give just enough time to block the attack when paired with those quick indicators. - If the character you’re playing has an all-guard, you can use it pretty scot-free to punish the storm rush without much thought. Just be careful, as the Orochi can bait this out for a guardbreak. - Parrying storm rush is extremely hard, but it has distinct animations for each side. The right side (the Orochi’s left side) animation in particular is easy to see, as Orochi will do a blatant, grounded spin right before he does the slash, which is the general window for when you should parry it. - I’m not going to go into the method for deflecting storm rush. I don’t have one. Just pray.
Nice duels ! You've really improved with the game ! Hope to one day feel the same progress on my playstyle, haha And yes, that Jorm lagged at some point
About the lag blocking: i could throw a heavy, and somehow they’ll manage to parry when they didn’t and i have to deal with it every few matches. Super annoying to deal with
Hey raven knight I would like to ask probably won’t read this but it’s not a big deal if you do see this but if you do let me know I would like to share something with you that I was hoping I could bring to life 😅

Even while paying attention to the animation, its still hard on old gen.
It really is! I’m on New Gen, so I can parry it kinda consistently, but I remember trying to parry it on Old Gen and getting absolutely gutted.

I remember when this mode was first available back in 2020, I really enjoyed it then so I'm glad it's back again
This game mode looks fun, I'll have to play it after work,
