One of the best-looking cheapest cars out there. I'm thinking of buying one next year, here in the Philippines it costs about 300k to 350k which is just 5 to 6 thousand US dollars. Might be a good first car for me.
Should show the spare tire lowering and the emergency brake mount behind the passenger tire also a quick look at the file pump seal under the back seat just from previous experience other than that the mariner and escape both great SUVs
These ford escapes from 2009-2012 are junk. I have a 2011 XLT AWD V6 with 80K miles on it and it’s given me nothing but problems. The fuel economy is absolutely terrible. I only get 200 miles on a full tank. Had to replace the valve cover gaskets because of an oil leak and the exhaust system from the behind the catalytic converter because of an exhaust leak. Had to fix the AC because it wasn’t coming out cold or powerful enough. The sway bar links have come loose twice and were making loud clunking noises while driving. It has rust all over the rear wells and the paint is peeling on the rear driver side fender. I do regular maintenance on it like oil changes, tire rotation, replaced the breaks once, and I replaced the air filter and spark plugs. Thinking about trading it in for a more reliable car.
It's true I had a 09 that gave me a lot of trouble it kept leaking oil that was the biggest problem I had.. it was like I had to keep replacing Part after part traded it in got a 2012 Chevy traverse that was in 2015 well worth it

Bought a 2011 XLT V6 AWD last Dec. 2019. Been Great so far.
Last week we had a foot of snow, drove in 10-12" of snow without a problem.

These are actually popular SUV's in 2023 because of car prices and people like the boxy SUV's over the girly look they make most suv's now.

Most four cylinder SUVs now are turbo but also depend on the year your look in at have this exact SUV V6 at the moment getting about 20.6 mpg
