All-Time Snatch PR: 160 pounds

  • To hit this lift, I managed to persist through repeated failure immediately beforehand. After a gradual warm-up to 150#, I put 160# on the bar (a weight five pounds over my previous all-time PR, set nearly two years ago in March 2020). Then this happened:
    1. Got 160# overhead but failed to stand it up
    2. Ditto at 165#
    3. Ditto again at 165#
    4. Ditto yet again back down at 160#
    5. Hit 160 pounds! (lift captured in video)
