"A series of earthquakes has jolted Canada"? Hardly. Some teeny, tiny quakes were felt last year on the island in the region, Vancouver Island. Pretty much no-one in Canada has felt a thing, certainly not where I live in Canada. I only found out this while browsing WION today.
I lived on Vancouver island for many years, I still have friends and family there. It is right on the ocean and all is well. No threat. Interesting fear-mongering news.

The northern Pacific doesn't contain a mid-ocean ridge. The area off the coast of Canada is a subduction zone, where seafloor is destroyed, not created.
2000 per 24 hours is almost one larger vibration/movement every 43 seconds or so. That is like almost constant earthquake throughout the 24 hours. Why is there so much movement in that particular area?

Climate change may be a key factor cause the earthquakes in ocean.
There was an earthquake in Java, Indonesia on March 22nd yesterday. Several provinces and islands were affected too. It was caused by off coast tectonic movement though, not the climate.

I would argue the increased in tectonic activity could be a driving force behind a change in climate, not the other way around.
Consider how the earths crust shifted to and fro for hundreds of millions of years to divide and create continents, on which unique and incredibly large animal life thrived. At times, under extreme carbon and temperature increases
