This show proves that you can make a very interesting romantic series without putting sex scene in every episode. Never have I ever skipped a scene in a series as this one. Every single scene in this series is just fantastic. And the chemistry between Nick and Charlie is so strong, even without showing the audience sex scenes and what not. I really need season 2
For real though, some shows that have scenes like that, I can never get through, but this one, I really connected well with the characters and its exactly what I want to watch .
Totally agree, but at this point it wouldn't bother me if they add a scene like that in future seasons because it's the normal part of a relationship. Plus, the show is already beautiful, it has content and meaning, the characters are awesome, it's a good story. I like how they're normal looking. The cast of this show look like normal people and it’ll add to the realism of the world and allow you to really get immersed in the story. Young Royals is the same way.

YR defo can establish more fanbase but I'd say it's already done great the way it did bc I saw YR's contents exploded everywhere when it was first released and I didn't know about the show before.

I’m in my 60s and I’m just so glad that teens can risk coming out and having their first lives like straight kids have always been able to do, and I’m also glad for this LGBTQ+ representation. Just watched the first season (in a day) and it was truly heartstopping throughout.
I'm 66 and I too think it's wonderful. I am honestly so jealous and feel I was born 50 years too soon. It's a real shame that this is not the case for millions of young and older LGBT+ people across the globe. There is still a lot of fighting to do, but stuff like this will help.
They are the best actors to play Nick and Charlie that we could ask for. I'm so glad Netflix really cared about giving us a good adaptation. Thanks 🥺️💕🍂
I think Alice Oseman had more of a say about the casting and just because of that, the series was even more perfect. I can only count a few adaptations shown on Netflix that actually did it and Heartstopper's definitely one of 'em!!
As a genX Australian gay guy who endured terrible amounts of bullying this show and the chemistry between the characters made me very teary but proud for the younger LGBT+ community I love it ❤

Also Hulkling is a huge and very important part of the Young Avengers. The MCU is moving forward and really Teddy/Hulkling is too important to be deleted! I'm confident that we might see him in "Secret Invasion" or in "The Marvels" supporting Monica Rambeau in the Kree & Skrull war maybe

I’m really looking forward to Season 2 and so on!!! Especially the coming out and the mental illness part (that part broke my heart while reading the Webtoon). This series can’t be more accurate, no other movie adaptations can be compared to all the details in this show . They basically just re-show the whole comic on screen. Most of the lines are directly quoted from the comic and they are suuuuuuuuuuper flattering for us audiences and supporters!!!
I love watching these interviews and videos after I watched the series. I never heard of this project nor Alice's web toons and was suggested to watch it on Netflix.Very glad I did. Such a positive reviewed show. Many great heart stopper moments. My favorite moment was probably the last episode where we see Nick's epiphany and how he really feels about Charlie.

Just finished the show and honestly everything about it was amazing didn’t expect to go into it being so obsessed with it by the end . Everything was so pure beautiful, and heartwarming . Loved every minute of it and as for Nicks character I stan…Season 2 me now please…😭😭😭❤️

I’m really looking forward to Season 2 and so on!!! Especially the coming out and the mental illness part (that part broke my heart while reading the Webtoon). This series can’t be more accurate, no other movie adaptations can be compared to all the details in this show . They basically just re-show the whole comic on screen. Most of the lines are directly quoted from the comic and they are suuuuuuuuuuper flattering for us audiences and supporters!!!

I love watching these interviews and videos after I watched the series. I never heard of this project nor Alice's web toons and was suggested to watch it on Netflix.Very glad I did. Such a positive reviewed show. Many great heart stopper moments. My favorite moment was probably the last episode where we see Nick's epiphany and how he really feels about Charlie.
Watch the entire season in ONE SITTING!!! I just couldn't stop.
