    Cool video. Crayon black should be that stiff. I generally do roughly 50/50 mix with crayon and process or roll-up. If you're image is rolling up in a single cycle your ink is way too lean, that's why you had a much better result after adding mag carb. I generally aim for 6 passes (rolls over the image) per cycle (trips from ink slab to stone) and I aim for my image to roll up within 4-6 cycles. For what it's worth you can get a pretty wide range of values with #4 and #5 crayons, if you want to ditch the acid altogether.

      So awesome! Thanks for this info. It's been so long since we worked in litho and apparently it isn't like riding a bike 😂 Going to try this ratio of ink mix for the next run to see if we can get these inks to work better for us. Really appreciate you taking the time to share this with us.
